I don't think she could handle JJ or Tylee in the end. JJ was getting too big for her to deal with his tantrums, and Tylee was butting heads with her all day. Having a cute little autistic baby would have gotten her lots of attention, along with all the hospital visits with little Tylee. I think she was just over the whole parenting thing at this point and wanted her freedom, but her ego and narcissistic desires for admiration never would have let her admit that to anyone by giving JJ up to a family member.

Such a heart wrenching story for the family left to deal with 😢

@@DJIncendration what, you mean she had to remind him that he wasn’t there, did he forget he wasn’t there then? I think he was very clear she had some part in the murder of her two children, he was receiving text messages after it was thought Tylee was already dead, that sounded nothing like the text messages he would usually receive from her. To say to him ‘You weren’t there, you don’t know what happened’ implies that she was there, that she knew what happened……… I’m not sure if you’re trying to defend this woman, but if she didn’t know what happened to her children why did she lie to everyone about where they were, and if she didn’t know where they were why didn’t file a missing persons report instead of jetting off to Hawaii to get married on a beach, with not a care in the world.

Different people have said that they would have taken in the 2 kids; but, the reason that would have never happened is because those kids had money coming in, and Lori needed it; so she told Tylee, that she needed her to put her [ Tylee's ] money directly into her [ Lori's ] account; she did that in anticipation of Tylee 'no longer being around' so to me that is 'premeditation', Lori already had JJ's money coming directly to her; so NOTHING could have saved those kids!

Thank you Nate and EIN. This version makes listening a lot easier. But understanding is a completely different matter. What a b**** Lori is. If it's all so fantastically heavenly what happened to Tylee and JJ then she could at least explain it to Colby. But she refuses. Colby would at least have the facts, she refuses. It was murder. Nothing else. He needs to hear the facts. And she refuses. I don't understand his faith, but I hear his excruciating pain. And it turns out his mother doesn't care. What a terrible place to be in for Colby. For all involved who lost their loved ones. What a horrible lawsuit. I hope there is at least some justice at the end for JJ, Tylee, Charles, Tammy, and everyone else who fell victim. I wish everyone a lot of strength and courage. She’s not saying only Chad and Alex know and she didn’t know where they had taken the children. Oops Lori. She also made the prosecution’s theory of her needing the children out of the way , stand up ( in my opinion) when she complained about the 100 days of sitting in the hospital with her daughter and taking care of all her sons needs. Her irritation with her responsibilities taking care of her children is crystal clear in her voice. I pray that the jury did actually hear this conversation well enough to help make their decision with clarity!
