Community Bridges passed her with flying colors regarding her mental health intake. Although, we don't have to be psychiatrists to see she's a loony tune with many many disorders, they passed her! Charles told them that he was scared of her. He wrote in his motion to have her evaluated because she had bizarre thinking and he thought she would do something to hurt him and/or the kids.

    IMHO I haven't heard any evidence that Lori gave direction for any of these horrific crimes yet. I am concerned about this. Chad and Alex seem to be and are the ones that committed and getting the full blame for all of the crimes. Even if Lori wished, hinted at or spoke of them there hasn't been any evidence. I think her defense is setting up that Lori was trying to cast out evils of others. Alongside the group of women (Melanie (s) Zulema etc who aren't getting charged for any of this. Even though it was said that Chad was teaching this garbage and Lori was then repeating and endorsing his twisted beliefs isn't a crime. I think when the state kept reiterating that Alex believed EVRYTHING that Chad and Lori were telling him it all falls back on Chad who originated the system of dark and light scales, zombies, portholes and the like... Starting with Lori talking about the supposed multiple marriages to manipulate her from the beginning. I cannot understand why MG and Zulema aren't getting charged as accomplices. MG lied to police and knew the children were unaccounted for . She didn't tell the police the truth for awhile. Her testimony wasn't earth shattering so the prosecution didn't really need her testimony. Regardless if she had been charged her actions would have come into play at both Lori and Chad's trials. Lori could end up getting charged with financial crimes and lieing to police (idk if she has even been charged with obstruction or hindering an investigation still or if that was all dropped in lieu of the more serious ones) 🤷‍♀️

    @@Curious-Irish-Angel - The defense is likely doing that but it near impossible because Lori has been caught lying about her children repeatedly. She knew her children were murdered. She was on the run. She understood what being DARK or a Zombie meant. At no time did she try to save her children or at least come clean about their deaths. Especially if their argument is it 'came from God'. And they being the Big Kahuna's, why NOT be forthright? As for Melanie and Zulema they should FRY, too. But, the bigger fishes are Lori and Chad. So, they need their testimony. Let's not get it twisted, both ladies are still disgusting!

    The amount of lying that went into this just shows that they very well knew how they would sound to the rest of the population. If they said exactly what they 'believed' to be going on (zombies, dark, light, etc), they KNEW excactly how crazy it would sound. The amount of mental torture Lori put on her kids prior to their deaths too.... moving all the time, people dying, being told what to say. So heartbreaking.

    The Police dropped the ball and I have been saying this for the longest! Their actions, or lack there of, makes no sense! The fact that Alex said he shot Charles while Charles was standing and then the police, after removing Charles’ body, find a bullet strike mark (indentation) in the floor beneath Charles….which is a strong indication that Charles was lying down on the floor when shot. His behavior and Lori’s for that matter was strange when the police were talking to them. Alex had no blood on him, although he claimed to have given CPR to Charles. Also, the timeline shows that almost an hour passed by before Alex calls Police, even though he claims it was right after he shot Charles. The officer testified on this recording that the strike to the back of the head that Alex claims came from Charles hitting him with a bat, doesn’t fit with the wounds Alex had. So, with all this evidence not making sense, why was Alex never arrested during the time he was alive?!? I watched Alex’s police interrogation and could not believe they let him walk out of that room when they were done! The 👮🏻‍♂️ 👮🏻‍♀️👮🏾dropped, fumbled and forgot the ball as far as I’m concerned! 🤦🏾‍♀️ Ridiculous! 😤

    That's going to be tough to do under the US Constitution. I agree we definitely have a cult problem and let churches run wild, but in the US you can't investigate based on religion, you have to have compelling evidence of a crime being committed. Even if you *know* something suspicious is happening, by law you need enough proof to justify a search warrant or else they can easily argue it's a violation of the constitution and have it thrown out of court. For example back in 2008 people thought it was suspicious that the FLDS were building a compound in Texas. But law enforcement couldn't go in there just because they dress funny and keep to themselves and have a lot of kids. Those things are not crimes. Someone had to call and report abuse in order to justify a search. And it was a big fiasco when they found out the call was a prank, because of the legal precedent it could set. Same story different cult. Charles even went to police concerned that Lori would do something. But believing you're a goddess and your husband is possessed isn't illegal. He had no proof she was actually plotting to kill him. The most they could offer was a restraining order.

    Melanie: "David is a righteous man." David: *becomes the first witness to blatantly violate the exclusionary rule* April's situation was a little easier to give grace to because someone else reached out to her. But this, where he intentionally sought out the testimony, decided to watch it, and got 45 minutes into it before remembering "oh yeah, I'm not supposed to do this"? I don't buy it.

    Whoa, did I pick up on something that may have been an issue for Lori? She told the nanny her daughter didn’t like to babysit unless she was “paid.” If you know a narcissist, they will always inject some kind of truth into their lies and story telling. I bet ANYTHING, Tylee was getting pissed that her mom was controlling so much of her money, I mean that part is obvious, but for Lori to just offer this info up to the brand new nanny? About her “not liking to babysit unless she was paid.” Not only did Lori want those kids out of the way, but Tylees money was a HUGE part of her murder. It wasn’t a warped religious reason. She murdered her for the sole reason that she wanted her money without getting in arguments with T about it.

  • @justsomelovelylady

    @justsomelovelylady

    I noticed the same thing! I wondered why either attorney didn’t follow up with a “were YOU going to be paid?” type of question, bc why wouldn’t you pay your daughter if you’re paying someone else? That obviously wasn’t why Tylee wouldn’t watch JJ, but I bet she got a nanny bc she didn’t want to give any money back to Tylee for any reason bc they fought about it and didn’t want to “concede” to paying Tylee any money back. (Even though it was hers) Then wanted to have it to hold against her, like she held the kids being dead against Colby for not being there. Poor kids

    @@Kay-fv7cw he didn’t have one at all at chads hearing because they gave him one. I thought it was dodgy and so did prior, who goes to something like that knowing they are so hard of hearing.

    As much as my heart aches so much for those innocent kids, hearing them talking about the day Charles Vallow died makes me cry. That man did everything for those kids. He tried to protect them and wanted to be a good husband and father. He even tried to warn the police about what was to come and they still did not listen. Because of that Charles lost his life, and now the kids are gone. Charles, JJ, and Tylee deserved better. The police 100% dropped the ball. All the evidence pointed to Charles’ death being a homicide. I can only imagine what Kay and Larry feel. To lose your brother and grandson by these monsters. I hope they sue the police for their incompetence.

    The prosecution definitely took a risk putting David Warwick on the stand. On one hand, I get it, because he was there the last night J.J. was seen, and had personal interactions with Chad and Lori. But on the other hand, they had to know that his fringe beliefs and participation with the PAP events would likely get brought up by the defense in order to hurt his credibility. Tough call, but I don't think the prosecution's case against Lori was damaged at all. I still believe justice will be had for J.J., Tylee, Tammy, and Charles. 🙏

    Have to keep them in till both trials AND appeals are done. It sounds awful to me, and I have never heard of this happening before. Kay and Larry wanted to bury them but were told they had to wait. Chats trial may be years away unless he does a plea deal.

    This Guy smh...He was listening to what she wass being asked and the answers she was giving so he did not mess up and further incriminate himself or melanie. Charge ALL of them. Thats the only way Justice will be fully sought for the lives taken.
