I really thought she would be done with him this time. He's gonna keep cheating and she's gonna waste all her best years hurting over him. Did anyone else see that clip of him gaming and Cardi walks in the room he starts fumbling to hide his phone from her. He will never change! Regardless of your opinion of Cardi every woman deserves better than being continually cheated on.

I always felt that when people want to get back together it’s because they don’t want to take a chance on someone new. Yeah it’s weird adjusting to the change. You no longer text them all day and you’re no longer checking up on them. It’s a lot easier keeping the same routine. But you can always tell when relationships are coming to an end. Things will be happening over a period of time to where you don’t want to deal with it anymore. You don’t have to stay with someone because the other person wants it.

Hi, I received this same message only that it was months after the breakup. You'd think ( and I thought) he was ready to talk things out genuinely and ask to 'get me back' . It was more of a check -in to see if I'm still enough into him , so that he can have me in the back burner if nothing else pans out . I don't know your situation or your relationship but , be careful . Guard your heart above all else .

Wise words from Alpha icon Brené Brown: "Shame hates it when we reach out and tell our story. It hates having words wrapped around it- it can't survive being shared. Shame loves secrecy. When we bury our story, the shame metastasizes." When we dare to be open about our struggles to the right people who have our backs, we reclaim our power and make it easier to leave behind things or situations no longer serving us and to make room for better things to come in. We are enough; we deserve to be healthy, happy and to live our best lives. Thank you, Shallon, for your example.

Almost everyone goes through this after the break up of a long term relationship. Most of us wouldn't be with someone for a long time if there weren't good things about them to miss and if we weren't close to them like a best friend. However, if that person also disrespects you, humiliates you,, cheats on you or otherwise makes you feel shit, then that outweighs those feelings. You have to put that aside and realize that if they really loved and cared for you and if they really were your best friend, they wouldn't treat you that way. You wouldn't stay friends with someone who kept screwing you over and making you look like an ass. And as far as the "d", its been said on this channel and many other places...a woman can catch a d pretty much anytime...especially if she's cardi b. It ain't worth continuing to go back to this man.

I appreciated her honesty. She said we are fucking dysfunctional. It is good to acknowledge that. If you are in a toxic relationship and want to stay, it is good to acknowledge we are crazy, we are dysfunctional and we will never be happy healthy normal. The truth is many people will never be normal partners. Normalcy takes either a great family or a lot of healing. Don't stay hoping things to change, stay knowing you are dysfunctional and your mate is dysfunctional. It is a powerful acknowledgment. When the relationship truly runs its course, we move on.

Easy??? Really??? Are you living in this world or in another universe? Most of us straggle with a job that we don't like because we need to survive, since we cannot find the one that we wish, have so called friends or not at all and no money/time for hobbies and travels. It's absolutely normal to crave for love to make this life bearable. Of course someone should set boundaries, but naturally you will feel lonely, if they treat you poorly and you have to let go.

Yep... I broke up with a guy 3 months ago who vandalised my stuff, went through my phone, broke into my house to see me.. but... Ive been missing him. He was funny and he picked up the phone when I had a bad day, he cuddled me at night and brought me coffee in bed. But I just don't let myself indulge in that feeling and I remember the bad times. Always hold onto the bad times.

What it is for me is that he was an empath just like me. It's been 5 years and I just don't see anyone who has the same inner world and gets me on that level, boyfriend or even friends and family. My whole life I felt different and didn't fit in, now I know why and I'm cool with it but it felt so amazing to meet someone who could understand me. But when he left it was absolutely devastating. I thought it will pass, but it didn't. I just need one person who can relate, but can't seem to find that soul connection which is so important to me...

This video hits too close for comfort lol. I have gone back to this particular ex several times. We have broken up and dated other people only to get back together at some point or another. About a month ago I had finally had enough. Even though we have crazy chemistry, I wasn’t happy like I once was with him. During quarantine (which really allowed me to reevaluate some things), I realized that I was still holding a grudge over the fact that he was out of state and couldn’t make it to my mother’s funeral last year (even though he had several days to make a move). It was like yeah we can laugh and play together but there is this dark something in the pit of my stomach that when I think about it long enough really bothers me about you not showing up (I was there for him even though we weren’t together when his mom passed away in 2015). The funny thing is that as I was sharing this dark feeling, I didn’t cry or get mad. I was being truly honest (with myself) and that felt good. At some point, you have to look out for yourself. Stay strong!

I was crazy in love and missed my ex but I stayed away by writing all the bad things we went though along with the detailed emotions I felt at that time. This helped me exponentially, because I left her before and all I could remember was our good times. I literally got sick without her. So we got back together, she was good for about 3 weeks, then started back her usual ways. So atleast for me I realized that writing and reading situations keep me from being so easily forgiving.

I think she is in a very deep trauma bond with him; and like you said before, she has a high tolerance of chaos and probably didn't have a real life model of what a healthy relationship looks like. This is what is familiar. And Shallon, I think it was deeper than what that Montana boy represented and what you feared about going to a new town. I think it goes all the way to some kind of abandonment trauma and how much of a visceral and emotional response. I listened to your infstream and he sounded so emotionally unavailable and apathetic. And that kind of rejection to us confident women is....a wound that exposes our own fear of abandoned and when and where have we felt abandoned before and therefore just seeking that familiar feeling....like a drug. Like you felt the beginnings of what could potentially become a trauma bond...(hurt locker)

The relationship with Cardi B will not end until he leaves her for someone else . Cardi B is in a place that I was in with a guy that had a power over me that I cannot explain . No matter how he treated me I would not leave him . It wasn’t until he lost interest and left me and he waited for months and tried to come back but by then I was over him and I was used to him being gone and didn’t want him back . I was so happy I was free of him . That spell he had on me was broken. I hope the hold Offset has on Cardi B becomes healthy and they work on their marriage .

Can you do a video talking about the two sides of on-again-off-again relationships? I believe there's two kinds; the toxic kinds where people are just in denial about their lack of compatibility (Cardi B/Offset, Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth) and the kind where the parties truly are just respectful of growth and timing and it DOES end up working in a healthy way?

@A Round Orifice in Nothingness your ability to have an open mind really shines through when you are commenting on someone, who believes in a possibility of something beyond this 3D life, higher energies and spirituality with “stop giving credit to imaginary”. If you ever studied quantum physics you would see the lines of what people call imaginary and real being blurred. But this isn’t even about that. Stop spreading negativity. And let people believe In what they believe in (everyone has their own evidence and reasons). You do not know better than them.

And it's so sad because I know he lies and gaslight me, but I convince myself that I know how to take the power back but as some as I get on top he makes me feel insecure and I play right back into his hands. I'm not attracted to him anymore. He was far from my type to begin with. I don't even like him as a person, but the sex makes me cut him slack just so I can sleep with him. I actually let him go when his girlfriend texted me to let my know that I was in the way of thier relationship, but out of the blue he texted me and the feeling came rushing back and the toxic cycle continues.

That was one of my favourite movies of all time. I originally enjoyed how Harry isn’t perfect and wrong about so much while still being charming. I hate the last half an hour when they get together but I still tried to justify it. Then I found out the creator of the film ACTUALLY BELIEVES that men and women can’t be friends. Which made me realise all the toxic shit that Harry said is probably exactly how he feels. That fucked up the movie for me.

I think it is “the higher you climb, the harder you fall,” because the momentum you build up makes the impact(when you hit the “rock-bottom”) harder. I actually love this phrase because it reminds me of my favorite Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus, and how the water felt like asphalt when Icarus was swallowed by the sea. I think we have to remember though that, for all that it mattered, we climbed and we flew for at least a moment, and it was breath-taking, which was why it hurt so much to fall- we lost the exhilaration and we felt the brunt effect of the crash-landing.
