Thank you - I've always been confused at the whole idea of gratitude, I just didn't get it, I was like I know I'm grateful for what I have but what you said about how gratitude turns what you have into enough really resonated with me. I need to practice turning the negatives into positives. I don't know why it took so long for me to click but I think the way you said it instead of negatives positive blah blah challenged me to think about it in an approachable way.

I’m so glad this resonated! It’s kind of like forgiveness - the concept of forgiveness to me always sounds like defeat, or like you’re saying that with someone did you was OK. But I interpret it as: I choose not to focus on this. I choose to switch my thinking, don’t spiral, focus on what I have instead of focus on what was taken for me or done to me. Which is annoying, but it is effective.

I Live in the UK and I hate to see the influence Kylie has had on the youth over here. It's ok when you're an adult watching it and you can take it (the show) with a pinch of salt, but they have influenced an entire generation of young girls. Not in a good way.

In México we love Paris Hilton, she is a real philantropher, she came on september 2017 when we had a big earthquake and she helped donating money to build houses to people that lost everything. Girl, what you said about them (especially Kim and Khloe) not wanting to showcase their relationships declining. I definitely feel that, you're so right. And the family don't seem to get along well. Back when they where controversial I think they thrived on the negative attention but now they're crossing the line into sad, people pity them. It's a lot less fun.

I think it’s ending because Kim is looking to leave Kanye soon and doesn’t want to show that. I agree with you about everything you said on Khloe and Kourtney.

I would have still watched the show if kourtney left. She may have carried it with the Scott drama for years, but she hasn’t been willing to bring much these past few seasons except constantly complaining about how she hates doing the show, which just came off as annoying and ungrateful.

I followed Kourt beause I ould relate the most to her, she was sceptic towards this lifestyle from the beginning, also she sees through her mother more than the others...She was spolied before but she felt more natural. If we now compare them, she and Kendall are the ones that look most natural. I find Scott hilarious too, there is something about him I like even if I dont know what it is.

Honestly if you're not a naturally ambitious go getter then I don't think you can learn it.... I'm a natural middle of the road, ok job, making do, happy with my lot kinda gal and there's contentment in that for me. Depression is real and I do not want to diminish anyone but this crazy idea everyone is 1 good move away from being a billionaire just sets ya up for failure

Yet when kourtney wanted more privacy and show less because she showed so much of her life with Scott and how that ended they were mad her. Now Kim finally gets it. It is okay to have some boundaries and not everything needs to be shared.

They’ve been slowly loosing relevancy for awhile now....When Kylie was at her PEAK fame and ppl were obsessed with her, she was SO boring her show didn’t even make it to a 2nd season. They slowly started loosing their authenticity the more they’d physically transform themselves. It’s like a shell of a once colorful person. It’s sad.

They did the show for money, to gain attention, they use people for money, but people are so obsessed they it works for them. People should focus on the people in their lives instead of people that don’t even know they exist.

True but people never looked up to them for their personalities to begin with. Whenever they did try to portray their emotions and individual personalities everyone started to hate again, called them fake and bitched about them portraying emotions etc as a way of gaining sympathy which leads to them making more money. Most people can’t even choose what they want for themselves let alone what they want from others.

@AllureOfFemininity if u look up alexandrasgirlytalk on youtube, she has a very helpful video on what colors look the best on what person depending on their skin color, hair color, etc. i’m pretty sure it’s called the art of color and it’s a VERY helpful video! definitely helped me choose better clothes for myself

"The year after college is the worst year of your life" YESSSS!!!!! It was so hard for me. Thank God I'm in a much better place and I've acquired invaluable life experiences along the way. But yes, they should tell everyone that after college it's going to be hard. I hated walking into my empty apartment and being by myself 24/7 as opposed to when I was in college, where my school was literally 15 mins away from my family home in my hometown. I wouldn't change the last few years for the world, but that shift from student into adulthood in a new city was extremely hard to adapt at first.

after seeing this video I went and put together my own emotional resume on a board and listed out all of the areas of my life where I had fears and was worried about failing in: love, career, body, wealth and once I listed out my fears and included instances where I did well in each area and added pictures, my anxiety subsided significantly. This is such a great idea Shallon and incredibly helpful. I shared your video with so many of my friends. I've said this a number of times but I'm going to say it again, Montana has done you so well and you've been so positive and I'm here for it!

This ended because Kanye didn’t want Kim and the kids on the show . He probably told her it’s causing their marriage problems. So he railroaded her into leaving before things got too bad .

Honestly I feel like the kardashian era will start to phase out. A big reason why they were so successful is because of KUWTK. The tv show was like a behind the scenes look into their lives, families, the fame, etc... without the show they don’t really have that intimate connection with their fans... we’ll see though. 🤷🏼‍♀️

totally agree, especially since the show generated so much press for them. there were so many tabloid articles that were essentially just recaps of whatever happened on the show.

Thank God “Keeping Up With The Narcissists” is over! It lasted 20 seasons too long.

The emotional resume idea is brilliant! After a couple weeks at a new job in a management position, I was feeling unworthy and lost in my role. I talked to my sister and she pointed out challenges I had overcome and how this new challenge I would also overcome. That talk really helped me and I really did feel empowered after hearing and thinking about all the emotional hurdles I have jumped over in life. I realize that what my sister basically listed out an emotional resume for me. I’m actually going to put it in writing, I know It will be helpful to read it when I’m not feeling my best.

Thank you so much for this. I graduated college and left a 3-year relationship all in this summer and it’s been hard, this pep talk was exactly what I needed to hear. 💕

This is one of your best videos Shallon, I strongly agree being grateful and remembering small victories helps a lot. I know nobody cares about my life here but here I go. A year ago I was really sick in the hospital, and I felt so depressed I thought I'd never be able to eat the things I like ever again. But now I'm much better phisically, and I can eat fried chicken and drink soda whenever I want. And when I feel like my life sucks and my mind goes to those really dark places, I remember how I thought I wasn't going to be able to eat fried chicken anymore, but now I can. I guess fried chicken is my hand soap lol.

Shallon you got me when you talked about kylie. She really was totally interesting when she was young on kuwtk. She was outgoing, adventurous, quite an extrovert, explorer and she really did overshadow kendall. I really remember being lowkey jealous of her for her shiny personality but also at the same time I would wait for her moments to come while watching the show. Now kylie has become such a dim light. She doesn't do anything interesting, funny, never have been found doing some entertaining stuff. Which has made Kendall so likable because her body is natural which doesn't look like one as a pornstar. I think all credits go to Hollywood just because she went under the knife the media bombed her with questions, speculation when she was just a teenager. She really became a hard shelled person after that literal harrasment.

I loved this video so much. I moved to NYC 3 yrs ago and everything fell apart when Covid hit and I lost everything. Learning how to put one step in front of another and implement the things you’re speaking about here has been so crucial for me. This was such an incredible reminder and I will come back to this video when i’m having a rough day in the future💛

You have no idea how much I needed this. Going through a major change. Trynna be a better student to get into uni, have tests in 4 days and major exams in a month. Didn't she say on the show that she wanted her kids to have the same dad if she were to have another child? Khloe honestly deserves better and can do better, but each to their own.

1. Grieve what you've lost 2. Learn not to devalue the situation to devalue the loss of it 3. Make an emotional resume 4. Latch on to hope 5. Make a list of healthy coping mechanisms 6. Assume the worst - under promise and over deliver

Honestly, thank you so much for this. I've just graduated college during the pandemic and it's pretty difficult - graduating on its own would be challenging enough, but trying to navigate the world of work when everything is so unstable is just.... phew it's a lot lol
