    Isn’t the stomach position considered the worst way of sleeping?

    Problem that even if laying down without pillow is the best position for posture, but unfortunetly nose does not want to breath in this position and you wake up with clogged nose. ENT doctor suggest elevated head position. it means there is no perfect solution for anything. ither you will suffer from neck pain or could not sleep due to nose :(

    I have a severely subluxated C1/C2 as well as another serious problem at T1/T2. I get an atlas adjustment every 2 weeks when I see my NUCCA certified chiropractor. I’ve been seeing him for almost 3 years, and though I’ve made tons of progress with the healing of my body, my neck is still giving me rather serious pain. I’m going to watch and rewatch as many of your videos as I can find in English, because I’m very impressed with the information you are sharing. I currently have an atlas related headache (mini migraine), and I’m going to see if I can take care of it myself with your technique. Thank you for your videos!

    Look into Egoscue posture therapy. Have had similar issues, less severe perhaps. Now visit chiro once every three months, due to better posture. The neck is often compensating to help you correct some imbalances from the thoracic, hips, feet. Which gives you pain, unfortunately....

    Just some info on your "neck donut" comment. You, like 99% of the population are using them wrong with the way you described it. The opening "in the front" isn't actually meant to be in the front. The opening is supposed to be in the back. This way it doesn't protrude the back of your neck forward since the opening is against the seat, and your head doesn't fall forward when you sleep since the larger closed side is in front and thus holding it up.

    I found you looking for a solution for my atlas which is affecting my lumbar. I have been using no pillow when waking up and stretching and intuitively knew this was good for my neck and whole spine. I will try it tonight and do the atlas exercises tomorrow and report back! Thank you!

    @Liebscher.Bracht_EN

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Isabel! 🙂 Thanks for your comment! We also recommend this sleeping position for people having herniated discs, because sleeping on your back without any pillow supports the spine to remain straight and release muscular-fascial tension in your neck and back. Please learn more about it in our sleeping guide providing further tips and written instructions for a pain-free sleep. 👉 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-backpainsleep We also have a great and simple exercise routine for herniated discs in particular if you want to help yourself against your pain. 👉🙂 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-hernia Give them a go, practise daily for at least 2 mins (per stretch), and please share your experience with us! We'd love to know how you get on and how they helped you! 🤗 Best wishes, Hannah from Liebscher & Bracht

    Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Isabel! 🙏 This could also be due to some initial worsening of your pain which is likely to happen if you start exercising or adapting this new sleeping position. 🙂 So it might be worth a try to continue and see if it gets better after a couple of days. 🤗 You could also try our exercises against tingling hands to release any built up tension, relax your muscles and fasciae and reduce this tingling sensation easily and quickly. 👉 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-cetingling Please keep us updated on how you get on.
