You gave me joy today by bringing back a memory I hadn't thought about in decades. When I was a teen and us C.F.er's got together for BBq's, etc. we all often times dropped stuff due to coughing and lack of oxygen and since most of us came from Christian families swearing was out of the question so we would say "Tuna!" at the top of our voices to offset the hurt or embarrassment. So thank you, Mary for that! Glad you're through that week and Happy Belated Birthday Peter.

I love to take 1 hour a day to colour in Even though I am blind It gives me peace my husband tells me what it is So I just let it flow 😀

I just got my Chronically Jaquie tank top and then I get to watch you guys after school! Life can be sad sometimes, but you have to keep looking up. If you can't look up, look down at the flowers. Disability does not equal weakness.... Lots of love ❤️🌷❤️

I should of written this yesterday but I just loved to see Ollie being so excited when he heard Mary's and Peters voices. Love it, love it.🤗🤗🤗

WELCOME HOME! Good to see Ollie and you guys safe at home. Wonderful to see Mary with no one poking at her. Buy perennial flowers, they come back every year and it is so exciting to see the little stems peeking up from the soil at the end of old man winter. Like an old friend coming back!!

Laughter is the best medicine. I am visually impaired and the amount of blind jokes I made is crazy 🤣🙈

Dolphin safe just refers to their fishing ... supposedly no dolphins caught in the nets

ohh I thought it just means no dolphin meat in it, no dolphin caught sounds meaningless to me since they actually buy their tuna fish... But I used to check all labels with dolphin safe cause I didn't want dolphin meat LOL

A bunch of things are caught in open nets. But dolphin safe nets do not harm dolphins while trying to catch tuna.

Mary, the dolphin safe tuna is about the fishing nets. When they fish for tuna on a large commercial ship they use huge nets they string out. The older nets had larger holes and dolphins would swim in and then become entangled and drown. The dolphin safe refers to the nets having a small enough weave that the dolphins do not become entangled. Almost all tuna is dolphin safe these days, at least what is sold in supermarkets here.

I work at a garden store this summer and it's awesome considering I 1. love flowers and 2. am recovering from a burnout. Being around plants are so helpful to feel better for sure! :)

I’m so glad to hear you made it home and to a working washer even!! What a blessing! Not having a washer or dryer can be so challenging and also frustrating for sure!! Mary, I have had postprandial hypoglycemia since I was a little kid... it’s one of those weird things that can happen to me, even after eating a meal... anyways.... we laugh when I am “blood sugar goofy” too... you have to see the joy in mama putting the milk jug above the fridge and the cereal box in the actual fridge ...... the next person that comes along and finds it....”MOM.....let’s test your blood”....”I think you may be low”... the best one was years ago (my daughter is your age Mary) ..... she still talks about it .... I put tampons in the fridge and butter under the bathroom sink.... good times 😂 it occasionally happens after grocery shopping for some reason... apparently my body thinks grocery shopping is stressful! Silly! Have a wonderful day everyone! 💕❤️🙏💕❤️🙏

I'm beyond excited for the flower vlogging! From one gardener to another. :)

In our house if you picked up the plant it’s now a family member. Lol.

On behalf of those just starting processes like this I simply can't thank you two enough for doing this and sharing your experience. The doctors try to tell us what to expect, but that just doesn't cut it. I know that experiences will vary, but seeing and hearing from real people is just so reassuring. It can be really overwhelming at times.

I laughed when you [ Peter ] talked about liking Lemony things. My husband of 48yrs is going through a Lemony season too. He buys Lemon Pies, Lemon Cookies, Lemon Cakes, anything Lemony. Our Granddaughter [ who's 20yrs old ] asked him did he buy anything that wasn't Lemony. Lol** she lives w/ us & she doesn't like Lemons. But her little boy [ our Great-Grandson , he'll be 2 in August ] will eat anything my husband does!!

Yap. Phlox will survive your winter and come back next year. Just make sure that they have water, at least the first year until they get stronger and deeper roots. They are very sensitive to dry weather.

Oh gosh!!! That passing out scared my so bad!!!

You two are amazing my Mother had Lung trouble she lived from 1970 to the end of 2014 with only one Lung she beat cancer so many times God Bless you both 😇

Glad to see you settled at home! I actually eat Tuna like that exactly just out of the bag haha. It’s one of my favorite snacks.

My husband is a juvenile diabetic since he was 19 and he is now 73 and then on the insulin pump for 37 years but blood sugars have been our ups and downs for 53 years. Sometimes they can be funny sometimes they can be downright scary his lowest was in the 20s and his highest was over 900 so you could imagine the fun we had!

I'm on,y just actually watching this now as I've put in on about 3 times and due to my current health state, i fall asleep 😴 at the drop of a hat 😢 On the plus side, the vlogs get that many more views 💞🙆🏼 I am in LOVE 😍 with the red and white flowers! They are so beautiful 😍 that I think I'm goi g to get some to plant this year. Normally I am to that much into the garden and getting flowers etc as I don't ha e a green thumb AT ALL! However, you have inspired me to plant more and enjoy some pretty flowers 🌺 in my garden this year. Peter, my grandma use to make the best lemon 🍋 meringue pie and an even better lemon tart (which my grandpa and I both loved.) They've been gone now for quite awhile and I miss them. Thank you for reminding ,e of this lovely memory which we both apparently share 😉💞 @thefreylife

Your flowers are so pretty! How fun that you get to go back to "normal" life and look forward to planting flowers. About life being crazy - my life last week was a bit nuts - spent 5 days in the hospital with my 87-year-old mom trying to figure out why she is short of breath, including all night Sunday night when she was trying to get out of bed every 20 minutes (to put clothes in the washer at 3 o'clock in the morning, for example). Transferring her to nursing home Monday night I started having chest pains (concerning due to previous heart attack) then got a text from my brother that he was in the hospital having had a heart attack Sunday night. Ended up in ER Tuesday morning - heart is OK, and finally got a splint for my wrist which I sprained on Easter Sunday that wasn't getting better. Through it all I was thinking of and praying for you guys, and looking forward to hearing news of your trip. Glad to see you got to spend time with your families and that you got home safe.

Dolphin safe means that the nets used for tuna won't also trap dolphins. The size of mesh is the variable.

we did the flower picking thing today! it is such fun! Of course I bought too many so we had to find another planter for out front to hold them. I pulled up in front of the house later with all the flowers and it was "THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL!" :)

The "dolphin safe" thing is to do with the method of fishing used. Some fishing methods use huge nets that dolphins get tangled in. The dolphin safe fish is caught using other methods that are less likely to kill sea creatures that aren't intended to be caught for food.

I haven't watched your guys videos in a while, been keeping up with you guys on Instagram. Lot of changes like a new intro song. That is so cool you like lemon meringue pie for you birthday. What scares you the most about all this happening? Love you from Louisiana (hot & humid) & 8 1/2 months pregnant 34weeks with our little girl Hollie. We prayed 9 yrs for our son who is now 5 and then God gave us this little girl coming July 8th.

Mary and Peter, can I suggest the supertunias by proven winners. Either Vista or Bordeaux they grow huge and just take over the bald places in the garden with NO deadheading. Also may I also suggest making a video about organ donation again.. an the importance of being a donor, how to sign up, and also they can become a living donor as well. This is a huge part of your life right now. Even making a shirt in regards to organ donation would be awesome to get the word out. This was my line of work before I got sick. I still can’t get the word out enough about it. Just a thought.

Dexcom told me not to put the transmitter through any xray, CT scan or MRI. I accidentally forgot to take it off for my adrenal cancer scans and it fried my G5 transmitter. Maybe it is ok with G6...may want to call Dexcom to see what they say. So glad you are home!

I have been following your journey from the start and always like watching your videos it feels like I know you guys. Glad you are home safely. Your Christmas Tree appears to be in a pot that is too big. It is struggling and using up all its energy trying to get the roots to the side of the pot. Then there is no energy left for the rest of the plant. I used to have trouble with this until someone at a nursery told me what the problem was. Pot the tree in a smaller container until it is larger and by the looks of it hurry! Love You
