North Carolina is a good place to live. My dad had a heart transplant in Duke hospital and they treated he and my mom wonderfully. I had no real idea everything my parents went through with the transplant. Watching frey life i see how brave thry were and how they took it all on themselves. I hope it is many seasons before you need a transplant. Your decision to move to north carolina is a good one. People are so like you...nice. Kind. You will love it.

I hope you dad is well. I think anything medical should be a private matter, that you only share with the closest and confidential person's in your life. North Carolina is beautiful.

Tomato-based foods always seem to develop their flavors over a couple days. I hope River can come visit Ollie every once in a while after y’all move!

I've been married 29 years and just got a dishwasher 7 years ago! We didn't have one before because we were on gravity fed spring water so not enough water pressure. Then we moved and I didn't know what to do with myself!

Isn’t it obvious? 😝 the NC season of The Frey Life should be the “Hi Y’all” Season. Looking forward to welcoming you guys to the south!

The play session with Ollie and River was previous. I could see the love and companionship Ollie feels for his good friend. Know that Ollie won’t see his friend once you move tugs at my heart. It’s difficult finding another dog or dogs that we as handlers feel comfortable with having supervised playdates.

Mary your strawberry blonde hair and eye brows are shining through with your little freckles are so lovely. Most days they go unseen. ❤

Ollie looked like he was really enjoying the music in the car! I'm glad he got to have playtime with a doggy friend! And you got to spend time with a friend too! I don't really like leftover spaghetti, ours always gets dry. Let me know your secret and then maybe I'll like it more!

Definitely left over. Much better flavor. Ollie is so precious

I am starting a new season too, been in a dead end job, kids are grown and out of the house, husband missing, lol, going back to school, will be making 45 to 50,000 a year, you don't want to know what I've been making for the last 5 years or so, lol. I too have a chronic illness that I battle, I am bipolar and have had 5 hospitalizations for manic episodes, they are the worst. The last time I was in the hospital, my social worker looked me in the eye and said, "don't come back," I guess she thinks I'm capable of not coming back. I blame my illness partially on how I was raised, i.e. quite poorly, but yeah, something I have to live with and manage every single day, so I feel you. Happy new season you guys, enjoy!

Weird as it sounds, spaghetti with hotdogs in the sauce is amazing. I cant explain it, but it's like the best two foods from childhood mashed together into one childhood super food

Since moving to North Carolina, you will have to learn to say y'all. I live in Knoxville Tenn and us Southerners have a different language so to speak. Great BBQ, Sweet Tea just to mention a few things. Cannot wait for the new house tour.

Just getting to see the stores around you and if Peter preaches there and all the new to us eateries. Also the lakes for Ollie. He's a chill guy. Lol.. # fresh spaghetti for me - also with mozz cheese toppings .

I love the piano music!!! And I agree, leftover spaghetti is so much better than the first day!

So many of us are afraid to move or make changes because we fear that we won't find new relationships or friends to be our support. A new season might center around what you do to create your support group (i.e. church, volunteer, people you meet) in North Carolina.

Oh I am so happy you brought up your succulent propagation process!!! I just re-potted my cacti and succulents and I have three outside that are probably done for, but I may try to save them!

I’ve been watching the old vlogs too, Mary. I’m just getting to where Peter was headed back to Scotland and you were in the hospital .

Second day spaghetti is best! I put mine in a frying pan with some butter and it so good. My family loves it too! Also I’m so happy that I came across your videos. Because even though we have different diseases we still have so much in common. It’s nice to follow along. You have given me ideas for managing my medicines and other stuff too. Y’all are so sweet! And I’m so glad y’all are moving to NC. Just know you already have friends here. God bless!

Spaghetti leftover With sour cream stirred through is amazing!!!

I get tiny viles that hold a shot I give myself once a week haha. That’s what I’ve used to regrow trimmings of my succulent plants. (After I run them through the dishwasher that is to get the med left over that isn’t able to be pulled out all the way with the syringe at the time of dose giving)

My favorite: leftover spaghetti sandwiches with white bread and butter spread on it is the bomb!!!

I briefly lived in the south, Arkansas, for a bit when my son was a baby. My favorite Southern idioms: 'that dog don't hunt', 'he/she is outta pocket'', y'al'l, 'why that's downright neighborly of ya', and so many others. The South is a beautiful place, but very, very, humid in the summer. Still, gorgeous.
