I learned that when I hiked up a mountain with a friend. I had a really bad day but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I kept looking at the top and felt totally hopeless. She advised me to only look at my feet and take one step and then think: I can manage one more step. It was really horrible and exhausting, but I managed. It's sometimes just one step further, just one more breath ... Thank you for sharing this and reminding me! 🤗 from Europe

hey sis, have you thought of including natural medicine in with all these antibiotics especially for your head pain. I don't have CF but I have heart and lung disease and I often use Peppermint for my headaches and CBD oil for pain. I say this because that Tylenol isn't good for your liver.

I’m so glad to know you’ve at least made it through the doxy without the super severe nausea the whole time. Doxy is common, but there are people who can’t keep it down, and will start vomiting even if out through a tube. I’m so glad this one piece was “easier” for you until the later days. I know it wasn’t easy, but this part is something I’m glad you didn’t have to endure the entire cycle. I haven’t been able to keep down a single dose of doxy for years (not comparing, just mentioning it because it’s actually kind of common amidst chronic Lyme fighters).

Are you on Levaquin? I don't take Levaquin or Tequin because of nausea that got worse the longer I took it and by 7 days I had to quit.

Would keeping some zofran by your bed help ? Like take it as soon as you get up before you make it downstairs to give it more time to kick in

Have you tried liquid Phenergan Mary? I have to take it all the time due to a chronic illness I'm dealing with. It helps me way more than Zofran. Just trying to help. Love y'all & congratulations on your pending move to NC.

Phenergan used to work so well! Then like 5 years ago, my doctor stopped prescribing that and went to Zofran. Which only sometimes works.

I was on doxycycline for a lung infection about a year ago and it made me SO sick. It’s the only medicine that has given me side effects.

Have you tried phenergan? I have chronic nausea and anxiety, and the first few times I took it I HATED it, it made me feel weird, but now it’s one of my favorite tools, it’s sedating and anti nausea

Do you wear those blue light blocking glasses Peter when doing computer work? Might help with the nausea. Might also be the Emf's from the wi-fi?

Here's a fun fact to distract you both from the nausea, North Carolina and South Carolina are the home of the Venus Fly Trap. A new plant for your shelf? PS have you tried a really cold wet wash cloth on your throat for the gagging and nausea? It helps me, usually.
