Gnocchi are potato dumplings basically just in case you were wondering. We have a friend say " I didn't think there was any way to mess up potatoes, I was wrong". He's not a fan. I eat gnocchi with olive oil and grated cheese. It tastes a lot less heavy. I bet you are exhausted from the crazy week. You are remarkable to be in such good condition/spirit considering what you had to endure. Enjoy the warm weather and all the new beauty spring brings us. We went out today and purchased several plants for container pots. The joy of amazing flowers begins! 🤗🏡🌺🐶💗

Gnocchi is not actually pasta - it is made out of potatoes and parmesan cheese! It also has a very specific way to make it, here's my favorite recipe: Put gnocchi into boiling water with salt, and pick them out as they rise and start floating. Thats all the boiling they need! Prepare lemon butter: just a good amount of regular butter, fresh lemon juice and some pepper. Start frying the gnocchi on a frying pan with some olive oil. NOTE, they fry very slowly, and you really want to fry them until they become golden brown and crispy on top! When they are ready, add in the butter and a good amount of arugula (will shrink so prepare to add a lot). As a last thing, add in capers when finished frying. Voila, it is delish!

another note - there is also pasta that is shaped kind of like Gnocchi. They are more like a flat shell looking shape, while gnocchi are plump.

Gnocchi are potato dumplings!!! They are really fun to make :3 one way to make them less gummy is after you cook them you brown them in a pan, getting the edges all crispy, then you serve them with olive oil and pesto and Parmesan cheese!! So yummy!

I'm sure it's been said as I'm a little late in watching but gnocchi is basically a potato dumpling. They are typically made from potatoes. Fresh is completely different than store bought. My great grandparents immigrated to America from Italy and I grew up making them (my grandmother's recipe is a bit more modern than the traditional methods). So yummy!!

If the gnocchi are gummy then you might have overlooked them. While gnocchi are a little squishy when cooked properly, they won’t be gummy.

That birds nest with the birds in is the cutest 🐦🐣

Gnocci are potato dumplings! lol. like potatoes mixed with flour. If you like gummy stuff, you would LOVE Tteok! It's korean rice cake, if you get Tteok Bokki it's like a sweet, spicy sauce with chewy rice cakes I love it.

So I've been binge watching the Frey Life and catching up since I haven't been able to watch lately and the birds at the beginning I thought were birds out my window and it was 5 am already but nope it's only 2am! So I'm gonna keep binging!!!

We love you marry Peter and Oliver you guy are amazing wonderful people... glad we found your channel a few years ago ... you have gave great Encouragment to people fighting challenges of life... thanks for sharing your life journey... God is amazing

You get some rest Mary and enjoy the flowers and birds. I know this is going to sound bad. I am 40 and my daughter will be 20 in Oct. and I am ready for her to spread her wings. I am ready to relax and enjoy life with my husband.

Gnocchi is so tasty! My family is Italian and one of our favorite ways to eat it is with red pasta sauce, fresh basil and lots of freshly grated pecorino cheese.. They are a heavier pasta (due to them being made with potatoes) so only a few go a long way! :)

Gnocchi is one of my favorite easy dishes. They are made from potatoes :) they make great dumplings in soup too!

Gnocchi in a butter sage sauce topped with fresh grated Parmesan is dreamy. One of my favs. If it’s gummy, you cooked it wrong. Potatoes aren’t typically gummy.

Someone has probably already commented about gnocchi - it is an Italian potato that is like of like pasta. I have made them from scratch with homemade Alfredo and they are delicious! Go Mary Go!

Btw Gnocchi are made from a potatodough! Just coming back from hospital, having my 8th IVIg zyclus. Outside the summer is coming and make things easier. I'm living in Germany and for every IVIg treadment you have to go in a hospital. I have CIDP and the doctors here don't let you do your IV's at home...

I admire you guys Mary I'm not sick with any illness just some heath concern such as diabetes high blood and cholesterol but every now an then my body just crash when I'm just very tired

Not sure if you're aware, but the fuel tax used in the boat's fuel can be written off. Because the boat doesn't run on the roads (which is what the tax is for) and you've paid the tax at the pump. Save your receipts. Can hardly wait for boat videos.

Peter I don’t like those either. I want to but it’s just not happening. I have been watching you and Mary’s videos for quite awhile. I really enjoy them. I wanted to let you both know that if you ever want to come and visit and stay with me you can. I live in Clayton MO. I am about 10 minutes from Barnes Jewish Hospital. They are on the top 10 for transplant hospitals. I have two bedrooms. No furniture except for soft folding chairs and an air mattress. I call it my double bubble. I can get 1 more. Plenty of room here. Oh have I have 2 📺. That’s the most important thing for me. This is a really nice area. I feel like I was put on this earth to help people. If you are possibly interested let my know and I will give you a way to get references so can feel safe. It won’t be phone numbers. It will be a University that you can call. I talk way too much. Even when I text. 🤷‍♀️😍

The nookie as I call them ( spelling is wrong I know ) WE serve them with pasta sauce. My husband and his family are Italian. This is an Italian dish so they know the way to serve. I love a little nutmeg sprinkled on mine then pasta sauce ladled on top- YUM

My husband is Italian and Sunday dinners at Nona's would often include gnocchi. I was not a fan. But her pan baked zucchini was to die for. I could have eaten the whole pan myself. Or her handmade salad dressing. Sadly she took many recipes to her grave.

Gnocchi are pretty much a potato dumpling but eaten like pasta (with pasta sauce and stuff). I think is like pasta but with potato instead of flour.

I am from Italy , there are two kind of gnocchi (champaGNe + lOKI as in Thor's brother), one is from Sardinia and it is a type of pasta and the most used one where I live is done with potatoes. 👋 Ps gorgonzola = GORdon + GONe + Zola as the Grey's anatomy kid. All of this isn't taking in account different accents like Texan or English or Scottish, it's a 'kind of'
