You've done a good job on that colour way. Lovely.. Also your voice is incredibly relaxing. I'm here for that most of the time

Also nervous about the downsizing Adapt recommends but this gives me some confidence - thanks for sharing

My Adapt experience was very similar. I had very little adjustment period on them and is probably the skate i progressed most on. I was also worried about the small groove but it turned out to be amazing. like you, i have a boney/sensitive ankle and some skates will reinvoke that pain. i describe it like a deep bruise or something and pressure on it just hurts a lot. unfortunately the padding on the inside wore in enough to where i had to stop skating the adapts for a bit. (I also don’t have the carbon). Peteir suggested i warm it up and massage it as a way of refreshing the padding. i actually didn’t do that and just switched skates for a bit. When i came back to the adapts i played with how i tight i was strapping them and that took the pressure of the ankle. just wanted to share in case that happens to you. haven’t had any ankle issues since. maybe i just injured it and didn’t rest enough for my ankle to heal lol.

Thanks! From what I hear and have seen with others, the nubuck material is extremely durable and can last through years of abuse.

Love the color combo, I just designed one using the same color palette and I love seeing what it looks like on the real boot. I’m now probably going to just save up for these as my next skate.

Wow oh wow, these keep popping up as a perfect fit skate. I have narrow feet, so M12s fit perfect but everything else needs cranking down due to width. You've nailed it with the colours!

Thanks for the share. I have the exact same issue with the size, just like you. That's why I never ordered them skates or usd aeons. Cause the L shell will be to big for me. So now finally ordered some brutales and let's see if I'll finally fit a 44size. Thanks for your videos. Keep going that nice job.

I'm 8 weeks in to my wait and this only made me more excited. I was also a little nervous with sizing as my Adapt are going to be by far the smallest skate I have ever had, and this makes me feel a lot more comfortable about it.

How does the leather seem to hold up? Almost all concrete parks where I am, and that would be a concern. I fall ... a lot.

From what I hear, and how they seem, the nubuck material is extremely durable. Many people are able to skate them for years. Check out the channel Blading on the Brain, that’s my friend Kennan. I think he was skating his last pair for over a year without any issues.
