Hi. Would you be able to reccomend a generic aggressive skate brand to look at for someone Not looking to do grining. Ie lightweight skates to roll around and jumps in the park. No sould grind plates needed i assume.

Loving these videos for the detail, what mondo are you? I’m a 295 and curious if these would fit me in the 10/11 shell, I have the 11/12 sways and I think they’re a shell too big and also very wide.

Ps u really made me overthink some more!! We have similar foot sizes too..i just wish they wud make skates more universal if that makes sense. Cuz finding the rught skate with the options wanted ur thrown off on how they all fit so different and its too hard finding the right skates. Each skate has huge pros and then huge cons. That spectrum just makes decisions so hard and guess work ordering online sooo difficult.

Hey hello loved the video. Im 45 now i skated in the ,late 90s to 2004. I rocked these rollerblade aggressive inline skates a custom build skate u cud buy where u cud build it. It was the only like its kind when i bought em in 1997 or 1998. Im now back into skating 2024. I just bought the razors Brian Shima 3 Remastered for 2023 and the 2023 i think but i got my 2nd pair as the new Razors Andrew Broom pro skates. I also bought the gawds paul john ll pro 58mm 88A pink wheels. Back when i was younger just like u not much money and now more money to basically over think every detail and buy shit. Lotsa shit!! Before summer is over i cud buy 3 more pairs of skates who knows.!! Everything is on sale now cuz Warehouses have such an abundance of inventory they need to sell to make room for new skates to put on the shelves. I also snowboard and backpacking and i buy so much!!! But thankyou for this video i just felt we shared a similarity. Bro i soooo over think!!! I LOVE GEAR!!!

I came here to say I watched this video and bought Kizer Fluid V afterwards. I got wheel bite on a down ledge and flew over the whole damn thing headfirst to land on my hands (instead of my head). Spent the night in the ER with dislocated metacarpals. Maybe 60s are too big for these but I hate these frames now haha

Cults really aren't a tiny bit wider, that tiny bit at first glance makes a huge difference. Roces m12...I literally can't wear them in my size, cults I can comfortably fit them snug. m12's hurt my foot pretty badly, so I don't consider cults a thin skate, I consider m12's thin.

did i miss it, or did you never really tell us what size your feet are. what size normal shoes you wear? i am a 10.5 and just orderd medium 909s and hope for the best that they will fit. 🙂

Hey your videos rock! They are super informative and I really appreciate them. Kizer has the Kizer 5 “ super fluid “ frames now. I think they are exactly the same as the fluid 5’s but with better material. What are the major differences between the kizer 5 and the Oysi medium? Which would you recommend for best wheel bite protection. Thanks so much.

Foot Width needs be reduced at least 10% when buying skates, depends on your pain tolerance. Pinching on the side of the foot can easily reduce foot by 10mm without pain. That's the control we need in skates

i found you experienced razors shift and them 909, which are what im thinking about ordering soon. my foot is about 255mm length, 10.5cm width, and i have a intuition premium liner/ myfit spc dual liner. i heard both of 909 and shift are really good but i cant try both. can you recommend one between them base on your experience? thanks!

Not sure why the Fluid frames are included as a flat frame, since they come with a built in anti rocker.

You said you skate M12's as well, did you notice a huge difference between the stock M12 soul plates and the Sway soul plates? I have a pair of M12's and I'm considering putting on some sway soul plates to make grinds a little easier to learn as a beginner... In particular I'm struggling with royales because you have to bend your ankle so low in order to lock on the plate due to it being narrower on the M12's. I wonder if you think switching the stock soul plates out for sway soul plates would help me? Or if it wouldn't really make much difference? Thanks

  • @RollOverTheHill

Thanks! I’m definitely planning on doing a setup video on the Aeons. I’ve really committed to them and I’ve been skating them exclusively since early spring. I’ve also done a few things to dial them in for me, so I feel like it will be a solid review.
