    I salute you homie. I still have Rollerblade lighting and the dirk. These past few days I've been watching and looking at the new style of skate. Wow how they have progressed. You can change everything in the skate. I miss it but I'm 38 now and maybe I can get back to doing 540 misty flip. PADS required. Thanks you for sharing your experience with those skates. I'm looking for a new pair. Thanks again 🤘

    Awesome! Those are rad. I would have grabbed a pair but the 908’s are slightly shorter than the 909’s and I barely fit the 909’s as it is.

    Thinking about ordering a pair tomorrow 😬 just nervous I'll regret not getting 909s but I kind of prefer the lacing style on the 908s and can only find the Danny beer model lol. Will probably go with the intuition communitE

    Thanks Chris. Enjoyed that. Love that description. Have you done any more on the wall? I like the art on the Beers. Thought it was Chinese characters at first in your edit for some reason. Also like your 'eat shit fuck you' piece on the wall. Very cool setup you've got there. Both your basement and your skates. I've been enjoying my black 909s with the Them Intuitions. Switched back to my Darsts with the Intuitions this week after Joey's comparison video to have a feel for myself. Managed 37 grinds for 37 years a couple days ago. Nothing impressive, and a few very similar tricks, but I'm pretty pleased with myself. No falls too. I usually take it easy and just do a few basic tricks and roll around. You and JAD have inspired me to try getting into switchups more. I had royale to unity (or I guess it's a Savannah or ao unity or whatever) on my list after I saw you doing it on that Apex ledge I was asking you about. Didn't feel comfortable enough to try it, as I've never even done a Savannah, but I did get a better feel for a couple proper switchups. Need to push myself a bit more. You're making those negatives look good too these days. Might try to get into those a bit. Need to build a nice long low ledge at my DIY spot. Posted a quick video of my 37 if you're interested. Thanks for reading and thanks again for the video. I like listening to what you've got to say about stuff. Cheers, Mark

    Hi. Would you be able to reccomend a generic aggressive skate brand to look at for someone Not looking to do grining. Ie lightweight skates to roll around and jumps in the park. No sould grind plates needed i assume.

    i found you experienced razors shift and them 909, which are what im thinking about ordering soon. my foot is about 255mm length, 10.5cm width, and i have a intuition premium liner/ myfit spc dual liner. i heard both of 909 and shift are really good but i cant try both. can you recommend one between them base on your experience? thanks!

    Thanks! Good to know. My issue was that because it wasn’t pure neoprene it took up a little more room and the fit is so close for me.

    Nice video, usefull infos here! You're downplaying your skills IMHO. Two questions: Have you skated the Kaltik Flat V2 by chance in comparison to the Fluid V? And how much thinner is the RL1 overall compared to the Roces M12 stock liner? Thanks!

  • @RollOverTheHill

    @RollOverTheHill

    3 жыл бұрын

    Thanks! I appreciate your sentiment on my skills! I haven’t tried the Kaltik frames yet, but I have been interested... maybe I should get them to test them out... for science... lol. The RL1 is substantially thinner than the stock M12 liner. I tried the M12 liner in the 909’s a long time ago and I could barely get my foot in there. When I stood up there was just too much pressure. With the RL1’s I have to crank down the lacing to account for the extra space vertically in the shell.

    @@RollOverTheHill Thanks Chris! Maybe I'll give the RL1 a try. Looks like it has a good quality. I really like the M12 and the stock liner because I have so much response. I would like to keep that responsiveness and crank down the laces a little more too.

  • @RollOverTheHill

    @@manuever.blading I think you’ll like it. It’s definitely on par with the intuition in terms of quality and the increased responsiveness is definitely noticeable for me. They did take a few sessions after heat molding to fully break in. So just keep that in mind.

    @@RollOverTheHill Hi Chris, I'm on the RL1 now too. Great quality, first session left me with foot pain though (haven't had this issue with the stock liner, though it's way thicker..). Wanted to ask you if you heat molded the RL1 because it was necessary or just because it offers the option? Asking this myself right now, because I think I can break them in by skating, however wondering if the heat molding would offer other advantages beyond speeding up the break in. Oh, and I am using it in the 908 btw. Thanks!

    Just wondering about sizing. Do you find it's worth sizing down in the shell? I am a true size 9 sneaker, and want to do intuition skate premiums. Oak Street said the Medium, but from what you've said, and what my buddy who skates (size 11) said, the small shell is plenty big enough. Any thoughts?

  • @RollOverTheHill

    @RollOverTheHill

    I find that if there's extra room in the shell the skates feel really sloppy to me. I try to get as small of a shell possible without there being discomfort.
