Watching the adapt guy talking about these masterpiece inline skates while mr wheel addict is huffing the boot has made my day 😂

Gotta say adapt makes a great skate. Pieter works closely with his customers to make sure they get what they need. I spent a couple months working with him to get a perfect fitting skate. I’ve been on blades since the 80s and adapt by far makes the best fitted skate I have ever worn

This 💯. He takes time to speak with you to make sure you get a skate that fits you perfectly before starting your build. They don't rush anything. Worth the wait!

I think its fair to say you get what you pay for. If you want exceptional attention to detail, constantly evolving concepts and the best materials you can buy.....ITS SIMPLE! You buy a pair of Masterpieces. Oh and an almost given guarantee that NOBODY else will be wearing the same skates as you at the local park LOL

@@ladesneffous-vc2yx so youre either not informed on the joke hes making about the owner of adapt threatening to break a teenagers legs over deciding to not work with them anymore. Or youre saying someone making threats to a teenager is perfectly ok as long as they make a quality product, genuinely not sure which is which with the apparent language barrier. Stoked you are still able to skate but adapt isnt the only band capable of that.

It isn't effective. It's just meant to hang on a wall. You have to pay extra for the 45° for it to be use-able. But still, you'll be better off buying a proper custom-fitted speed boot.

I've had four different adapt models. Nothing compares. Best skates on the market by far. I want to get some brutales.

I had Vegan 1 about 10 years ago n that was the lightest skates I've ever had (2,5kg/pair with antirocker setup compare to USD Carbon 3kg/pair)

Well after five years of repairing race cars. I wish I had thought of this. Carbon is worth the extra cost.

@@chrisiechris exactly makes sense why this costs so much that's because this is for a niche market, and for the price alone it makes sense. compare it to what Koenigsegg makes. Not everyone buys a million dollar sports car made for them

This, people are tripping over this tbh. You can go online and find other's...the speed skaters or whatever (think Olympics), the skates they use are not cheap...it's like those racing bikes, none of this super light high performance stuff is cheap. I remember when USD carbons came out and everybody was tripping about the price...not even realizing that USD carbons are STILL very cheap for what you're actually getting. I loved my carbons when I was into them...but eventually moved on, realized that super light skate actually wasn't good for my skating, ntm...I still think super light skates are dangerous for "aggressive" skating. lastly, people complaining about how much they are selling these skates for....dude please, THEM skates are pretty damn basic boots...not much more technology than cult style razors or roces m12...and look at the price they are charging for THEM skates, I'm not mad at the price for THEM skates, I get why they are priced the way they are....but look at what you're actually getting with these fully custom carbon skates. they are actually cheap.

Adapt is the only game period if you have a eu43 with 115mm wide feet. This is an abnormal size. Adapt is the only skate company that offers a extra wide last. I've skated PS (next, evo, tau) RB twister. Heat molded punched...its all pain if your feet are too wide. Ive pissed away the equivalent of a pair of these on stuff that did not and would not work.

I am a 42 wide and still can't get used to the fact that I don't sacrifice size or length in my skates.

Man! Superleggera SP my dream skate...

WD-40 now repairs carbon scratches :) Some one inform the MEME creators.

I believe that the main element that should justify the price is the comfort offered. Unfortunately, from my experience with the GTO series, the comfort leaves a lot to be desired. There are other models on the market that are much more comfortable, at much lower prices.

Between iqon releasing 50 different models of skate to Them going insane with the colorways, and now this from adapt there's got to be some sort of middle ground.

Fact: the Lamborghini Gallardo Superllegera came out before the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. Also, the ONLY car with the SuperVeloce name is the Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce. So, my dear Peter, do your homework before naming such pricy and good rollerskates ;) Cheers !

Fact: They're rollerBLADEs or inline skates because the four wheels line up. Roller skates have the four wheels in a rectangle pattern. dear anjoLas please do your homework before making such comments. ;)

They look real nice...but they belong on the shelf. They aren't functional as a skate for anyone who is a real skater. A rigid boot is just a dumb idea. Don't waist your money on these overpriced nonfunctional skates. You can get much better for a fraction of the price. Look for a skate with forward flex. The only way you can get this is with a hinged cuff. This rigid boot is just stupid.

They may be light and they may be expensive but they are also awful looking skates 🤮
