I love sharing information, that's how we grow. I work in Information Technology, you know what happens to people that don't share info so they the only one's that can do it. They don't get promoted because management has them pigeonholed. The more I share, the more promotable I am, and the more capable my coworkers are. Love that you have that mentality. Thanks!

Yeah, I noticed on the Trade side that some guys refuse to show anyone certain things, that way they can always be the one relied on to take those jobs. I ended up working with 1 veteran locksmith who really showed me everything, he had done this for decades and wasn't bothered with anyone taking his spot lol I do agree on getting promoted by sharing knowledge, when I got hired at shops I taught very similar to this setup on the channel, workers looked up to me for it and management always respected that I didn't hoard the info. I got promoted very quickly to a lead position at my shops, I became kind of a swiss army knife of doing everything and being a trainer which I feel helped me to do what I do on the channel today! No matter the level you are at in Locksmithing or really any trade... you always have something to learn. I have always felt that I should leave someone with a better foundation to build upon than I had when I started out. More companies should focus on promoting that behavior than forcing others to fear for their own positions by teaching to a lesser paid employee. Here in the states it seems that's a big reason for secrecy in non-union trades.

New video premiered today TSA keys and lock

I meant to comment on it earlier, I have been running call to call today between comment responses! Those TSA locks are more designed to keep your luggage from accidentally opening than anything else. I have come across calls where people use those to lock their gym lockers and even a residential mailbox once lol Certain locks are meant for helpful convenience rather than security sometimes.

@@BelmontClan Nice! TSA has actual Master Key sets that they all keep for purposes where they are required to open the luggage. They usually can be picked in a second by just shoving a hook inside them with moderate tension lol But, for TSA employees who have no idea how to do that, they keep their sets readily available...

@@LockandKilo Well most people know TSA is some of the crookedest thieves on the planet, and the two keys I have are the two most common for the USA so the 007 one works very smoothly with one hand as you will see in my video.
