"I hear footsteps above" This is too intense! Great idea for a challenge, I will have to attempt this soon.

You definitely should have added some suspenseful background music along with the footsteps ). Nicely done, and a pretty good challenge!

I have opened my wafer lock with paper clips and it was a fast open and even used a hat pin as well.

Wafer locks are usually pretty easy to defeat with any object that fits in the keyway almost haha You can make your own Snake with a paper clip and pliers and open the majority of them that way lol

@@LockandKilo That’s true so that’s my experience. Was also the first lock I ever picked successfully. Took me 2 months to figure out and without access to the internet. This was back in 2011

Same! I used pliers and made my own rakes in the beginning before I realized so many sites existed for Lock Pick sets haha

This is a cool challenge actually and nicely done👍 Did the exact same thing as part of the MadAussieChallenge last year, it's lots of fun.

Oh, nice! I get a ton of emails nowadays on the channel and I saw this and thought it would be a fun break between tutorial videos! Doing challenges like this will make pickers better as you start to really hone in on how locks work and how tension works with softer metals like these!

Ha, awesome! Should be called the Macgyver challenge lol. However, when it comes to making the tension wrench, you should open up the paper clip completely, fold it in half, crimp it, and place a 90 degree bend in the end like they do here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/naGesLV6kpmqgMo.html P.S. Personally, I think that an even more interesting challenge would be for people to unlock a vehicle using makeshift tools.

I went with this method as I tried to pretend like these are the only 2 objects I would find in the scenario lol The vehicle challenge would be neat...but, I am not sure many people want to try and do that to their own cars haha
