Another troll hater ^^^, question for you, do you order food you don't like then complain about it? Watch movies that you cant stand over and over and whine about it all day? If the answer is no then why on earth would you watch our videos if you don't like the content? Any sensible person would quickly realize that's just plain silly. So its not okay for him to give praise for his like of a new tractor that is also sponsored? Its not like he hides it, he is open about sponsored products, its part of his channel. Not many people wouldn't like those newer hydro-stat tractors, especially now that the MX series has enclosures. P.S. Did you know Kubota is made in Georgia. If you got a Deere of that HP level it would be mostly form India. Just saying.

I have to say Mike you and your family melt my heart every time. Under the current social, cultural and health crisis it is nice to come home from work and see the love and hard work on your channel. This is what life is all about or should be all about. I have to admit you encourage me to get out there and do the same, I have accomplished so much more work around the house this year compared to years past. I have so much more to do. Oh by the did you know Melissa needs a pool:)

I forgot, I'm the Sundrop drinker, I'm in the foothills of NC. Lived in Iowa, South Dakota, Texas and Florida. Born here in NC. Came back because no other land is as nice enough for me. I grew up in a forest. 2 treehouses, a rock fort and a big dug out creek w swing rope over it. Still today at 65, I make trips to the mountains frequently. I think y'all have a wonderful place, just wonderful.❤

I actually found Mike a couple years ago when I was considering what tractor to buy. When Mike loves something, he says so. When he thinks something could be done better, he says so.Watching someone who knows how to use equipment that I'm not as familiar with is actually a pretty good idea in my book. Works out well for his family, worked out well for me and worked well for Rural King then, and Kubota now. I'm not seeing who is losing in all this. BTW, since I haven't said it in a while, thank you Mike and Melissa for all the time and work you put into these videos.

Single blade on the wood splitter... now you are talking my language 👍 each fall I split 30-35 paper boxes of Kindling for my mother and myself to last all winter using the wood splitter.

My favorite soft drink, or pop, was and still is...Sundrop. Before I could speak whole sentences, I'd ask my granddad, "papaw, buy me unhop." Back when I used alcohol, it makes a great chaser or mix. Now, once in a while I'll have a bottle of diet Sundrop. It's great that you put in so much effort for Hunter. God's gift to us is our children. When we heated with wood years ago I isolated the "clean" logs. We had several woodpiles around the house and the clean logs were known as "FRONT porch logs"! 😁

Way to go Melissa, keep the swimming pool on Mike's mind. Mike, why do you suppose people wouldn't want a 120,000 square foot pad on their property. I can think of hundreds of uses for one. One thing is that it would make mowing a little quicker not having to mow that spot. Another is how many tractor implements you could put on it. One more is that it would make a great deck beside your new swimming pool.

My stove has turn to a mouse motel THE WARS ON

I have a suggestion. When you are cutting the big logs on the sawmill you usually cut two or more thinner slabs of the four sides. If you cut those slabs as a single thicker cut, they would me very similar to the outside splits you were making here. you could then cut the slabs into firewood lengths and maybe give them one split as you were doing here. My dad used to get slabwood from a sawmill when we were a kid. We burned a lot of it in our woodstove.

Lots of Stihl Mike! I have a FS96 brush cutter my neighbor gave me. He couldn't get it to run so he bought a new one. A little Moto Mix and a high speed needle adjustment and it runs like a champ!

Melissa is a delight. You do good when Melissa is in the video.

Have you ever thought of putting in a retaining wall along that edge? If you backfilled to the wall, then put in your gravel, it would give you more room in that area for equipment.

Many of us have fire wood cribs in the house or on outdoor fireplaces. Hunters wood would be perfect for long term display. Bark harbors pests that hatch out indoors. Just a thought for some of us.

You two are funny , like a good comedy team, good back and forth off of each other. You have a great community here on you tube.

Mike & Melissa...Love your channel. Been watching for about a year and have learned a lot. Kids graduated from high school in the suburbs and we moved 50 miles out of St. Louis to our 85 acre hobby farm. Luckily my wife wanted to move even more than me. She can pretty much out work me too. Lol. Sold the 76 ford 5000 that was broken down more than it ran and bought the Kubota MX5800. Bought a few attatchments from Land Pride and EA and we are loving the lifestyle. Your channel has been a great motivator for some common sense thoughts and ideas here on our property. Keep it up guys. Ive got much more to learn. I just ordered the Danhuser EP 615 front end post hole digger from our dealer. A little more expensive than the Land Pride SA20 but those were on back order. Agree with cleaning the equipment. I have always fired up the pressure washer and washed my Deere 1026r as well as my Hustler zero turn after each use. The both look years newer than the actually are. It helps retain value, makes maintenance cleaner and easier and most importantly makes me feel better!

If you get a post hole digger, check out the ones that go on the front end loader. They are powered by a hydraulic motor and can go forward and reverse if the auger gets caught under a root or a rock. The ability to dig deep is enhanced because the loader has much greater vertical movement than the 3 point hitch. And finally, your neck doesn't get stiff from looking behind you while working it. Run it off the remote hydraulics. One other advantage is positive down pressure. Can't do that with a 3 point hitch. Mount the digger to one side or the other so you can see the tip of the auger from the operator station.

Would go with the 48 inch deep post hole digger for the BX23S, 9 inch auger. PD 15 I think it is called. Can get into tighter corners for the pool fence rather than one on the bigger tractor. Also, easier to move it around. They are awkward and heavy to start with, even the smaller ones. Cheers!
