You know how garter snakes defend themselves? They poop on you when you pick them up. So stinky. We had a nice Diamondback Rattle snake on one of our paths today near Jim Thorpe Pa. He really gave a good rattle to let us know he was there!! We didn't pick him up!

I have a garter snake slithering around my flower garden. He has become very friendly much to the wife’s dismay. If it was anything else she would be feeding it.

Mike got an idea for you on the spreader take a 5 gal bucket cut out the bottom and insert it in to the spreader makes it so much easier to pour anything in to it

Hi guys. You live the life I have always dreamed of. Watching your videos gives me hope . Love every bit of it. God bless.

Things I kinda learned from Motor Mike and Melissa. 1. At first I thought it would be too time consuming to measure firewood. Well I had to try it and it makes piling the wood more convenient. Side walk chalk word well because it is big. 2. The land plane is really nice for leveling. Almost looks too easy! 3. Melissa has nice eyes. Needs to show us more. 4. Hard work makes you lucky. If you don’t contribute, don’t expect to receive. 5. We are happier than city folks. That is good for starters. I will comment later after more inspiration!

Over all the pipe turned out to be a good solution to make that area more manageable. That land pride does a great job.

Thanks Mike, I have a Kubota M9540 with a landplane and I've never thought about using it going backwards to smooth out the gravel, but it makes great sense; pushing gives a level/even surface for the tractor to operate on. It allows you to get a smoother finish with fewer passes.

Richard here - incognito as always. it looks like the Kubota bounces a lot more than the RK did which may account for you not being able to spread the rock as smoothly, or you cant tickle the bucket control lever the same way. Eva sure can jump backwards quick when there is a snake around. poor little fella just wanted to be left alone - glad you released it safe and sound into the woods. It is about time to start to get back to normal there. I live in NW Oklahoma and work at wally world and we have not had much problem with the CCP Virus (Chinese Communist Party Virus) in this area (knock on wood). I'll be 62

I saw you using the straw a couple years ago and decided to give it a try. Wasn’t the same brand but I found EZ-Straw at tractor supply. Works great and easy to store if you don’t use the whole bale. More finely chopped than farm bales so it breaks down quick after the grass grows and really easy to spread. Thanks Morgan’s. Pete, Westmoreland Co.

Melissa's reaction to the snake is what my reaction would have been. My theory is if it doesn't rattle, it's a copperhead. Lol. Daughter Eva is more brave than I am. I just don't do snakes. Happy Birthday to Millie, and everyone mentioned. Have a day:)

Daughter/Aunt Hannah has really taken a liking to Ty. It's easy to see why people confuse her as Ty's mother.
