Today we look at what I consider to be the least expensive, most overlooked, yet most used attachment you can get for your tractor! I use pallet forks almost daily here on the property. We also unload another sawmill from woodmizer!

I completely agree about the forklifts. Along with your uses, you can dig up small bushes. I tossed a piece of plywood on them and used it as a quick and dirty portable table.

Hi Mike You are so right about pallet forks, something I do is paint the last 4 inches of the tines to make them easier to see from the cab of my tractor and just re-apply as needed. Keep up the good work Michael 🇬🇧

Mike, what a great idea bringing in the smaller sawmill. I have 30 acres of mostly woods in western Indiana. For me, a quality mill under $5,000 is absolutely doable. I look forward to watching your experiences with it. And the pups are pretty stinkin' cute too. God Bless.

Had a skid loader on the dairy farm since 1970. Didn’t get pallet forks till we got a model that had quicktatch. Don’t know how we ever got along without them for 25 years! (85 or 86) 👨🏻‍🦳 Keep up the great videos. From Northeast Wi.

Mike - Another Woodmizer - really? You do know how to have fun. I don't own (and probably never will) a tractor, but your thoughts about the forks attachment makes sense. Loved the video of Archie and Piper at play. And then there's Ruger, just enjoying his chewing on a piece of wood and ignoring the other two. Blessings to you and your family. Hi to Hunter.

Agree on the pallet forks. This week they unloaded a delivery truck with 3 tier pallet stack of grapevines, moved heavy picnic benches, and IBC totes with and without water. The do lots of odd jobs. My dealer years ago said to tilt the forks up slightly to move the pallet arms. Did this for years until I saw a youtube video showing someone tilting them down......way easier. Have fun with your new saw mill.

Pallet forks are a must for a tractor. Using pallets for storing things one is the way to go. It certainly makes things easy to move around. Pallets are easily available in most good size cities in the industrial areas and are almost free for the taking. One just has to keep their eyes out for them.

I am building a retirement home on 5 acres of family property. And bought a Kubota L3901, best invent yet. I also purchased pallet forks, grapple, front loader, box blade and a 18 ft trailer. So far I have used all of them and only have about 25 hours on the tractor. But by far the most used implement are the pallet forks. Came in real handy when building the metal building. Love them.

Great idea introducing the LX 55. I purchased my mill at the end of 2019. Not a WM, but the same size capabilities as the LX 55. These smaller and more affordable machines are little beasts. If you want to slab a 36” black walnut your out of luck. But if you want to be able to mill logs that are readily available, and much easier to handle , you’ll need to watch what Mike can do with this “little mill”.

I have that twenty acre piece of land you are talking about and about 13 to 14 acres of it is woods. It is our camp in Pike County, Mississippi, and I have a good mix of pines and hardwoods. I have noticed that the Wood Mizer mills are by far the most popular used mills on You Tube. Probably 80 to 90% of the portable saw milling videos I have seen are a Wood Mizer.

Funny to watch Piper and Archie play through the sawdust pile. Twice Archie ran over Ruger on his way after Piper. And Ruger just kept gnawing his stick without even looking at Archie. Funny personalities.

Property has set vacant for many years and honeysuckle has taken over. I love your RK 37 tractor videos, bought my RK37 on January 1 this year and drove it to the property. RK is only 2-3 miles from my property. I have since added a graple, brushhog, box blade, landscape rake and a Woodland Mills chiper. I have about half acre for a food plot. Removed the old house and built a 40x64 pole barn. OK, I did not built it, Amish crew did. Primary use is hunting and hiking once I get some trails cut. Poisen ivy everywhere. I do enjoy your videos, wife says you are my best friend that I have not met.

Agree on comments with pallet forks. I have an L3901 and and bought pallet forks after I decided I couldn’t justify upgrading for grapple. I really wanted a grapple. I move a fair amount of slash on my property and move it to burn piles. I had no idea how much slash I can pile on the forks and move around. They work wonderfully for that and now I really don’t know why I would need a grapple.

Fork are probably my most-used implement as well. I also pulled the bladder out of an IBC tote (like the ones you're using for firewood at 16:08),. Put the IBC frame on the forks and secure it with a tie-down strap to use as a man lift.
