We usually don't get enough touch...
And now that most of us have been locked inside for the last few months, you're probably getting even less.
Well, you can get the touch you need by massaging and nurturing your own body.
Yeah, it'll never be the same as getting a massage.
But, you can nurture yourself to help relieve anxiety, reduce stress, and deepen your sense of connection.
In this video, you'll learn acupressure self-massage techniques you can use in 60 seconds to help relieve pain from headaches, increase energy, release low-back tension and tightness, and more.
You can use these techniques while sitting on the floor, in a chair, or lying down... and you can use them all together or individually.
In this 20-minute acupressure self-massage routine, you'll learn...
- Acupressure points to help activate the energy within your body for a healing effect within. Think of acupressure like light switches that turn on the light bulbs of energy within yourself.
- How to wake up the energy in the hands. Clear heart energy (the heart meridian goes right through the hands).
- The "Tylenol Point" on your hand. This point is one of the most important acupressure points on your body. It works incredibly well to help relieve headaches. Working on this point helps clear your mind and clear.
- If you have a headache, blocked sinuses, or you feel foggy, massaging the Tyloenol Point can help you relieve the pain, unblock your sinuses, and clear mental fog.
- The "Master Point" of the upper back and neck. It's great for relieving upper back and neck pain. If you've been working on the computer a lot, use this point to help reset your shoulders.
- Learn to self-massage your own neck to relieve tightness and tension in your neck. The points you massage on your neck will help promote deep sleep and relaxation.
- How to improve the flow of energy through your respiratory system.
- How to find the "Stomach 36" point. Ancient hikers used to massage this point after walking for long periods so they could walk three more miles. It is one of the most widely-used acupressure points in Chinese medicine. One Qi Gong master said, "If you massage Stomach 36 every day you'll live to be 100 years."
Want to learn more acupressure points and self-massage techniques for self-healing and pain relief?
Check out Lee's Acupressure & Meridians for Self-Healing Workshop. You'll learn:
- How to use acupressure like an energetic “first aid kit.” You can use what you learn to help relieve pain and activate your body’s self-healing powers at any time.
- A unique combination of both acupressure and Qi Gong to amplify the healing effects of both practices.
- Which acupressure points to use to help relieve yourself (and others) from common ailments such as headaches, immune system imbalance, low back pain, and more.
- How to massage the points and for how long… and how often to repeat the massage for the most effect.
- Learn to identify certain pains, where they are coming from, and how to treat them with acupressure.
- How to self-treat your own aches and pains with acupressure and Qi Gong.
- Learn to self-treat (or help others with) back pain, sciatica, neck pain, upper back pain, lower back, knee, and shoulder pain by using specific acupressure point combinations.
- How to find the points on your body and how to activate them for self-healing with Qi Gong and acupressure.

As a reflexologist of over 40 years I am so glad you emphasised the feet! So many people don't pay attention to these little platforms that have to carry you everywhere your whole life!! Thanks for the great demo on the points in the body..I know it will help so many who are not aware or always know how to use these ancient healing methods....great explanation ..and for me, a good refresher on these often forgotten areas....I was taught QiGong by a Shaolin Priest....so I do it pretty much every morning.....but this video reminded me of the value of the sitting exercises. Thank you! 🙏 Namaste!

If a request and recommendation is alright, for people viewing on tablets, iPads, etc., accurately viewing exact acupressure points is difficult or impossible. My request is that if your camera operator can do a closeup of each accupoint it would make it possible for more people to learn from your series. This is also especially important for seniors, or people with vision issues to learn. As a senior, it's important for me to learn more precisely other than a general area to pressure.

I did not realize just how stagnant my energy had become with all the stress and chaos going on in our world today. I've been subconsciously holding my breath for months, I think. No wonder my energy felt stuck and frozen. This video really helped me to begin to feel my energy circulating and strengthening within my body again. What a huge relief!

After having a wash, I incorporate all these points and more into my towel drying routine. I further recommend using any skin products you might use to reinforxe what you've previously accomplished. In my case magnesium oil, ACV and coconut oil on my whole bod, hair and feet respectively. Thankfully it stops there, cos I'm a low maintenance guy...honest!

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely knowledge of Chinese medicine preventions exercises which I am keep doing this self body maintaining for a few years . Because I have my own Chinese medicine therapy clinics for many years. Now I came back to study in Auckland Chinese medicine university for more than one year. I wish I can share the great benefits to other people around me like what you are doing
