Ive never done anything like this but I’m suffering so badly from chronic inflammation. I’m always so swollen, puffy, bloated, tired, etc. I made a grocery list, prepared all the meals just like you said, and I started my intermittent fasting as well. Let me just say that coming from a Mexican background the foods I bought, and the way you put them all together was odd for me,to say the least, but I am so desperate I continued on. Today I ate my prepared meals and was shocked at how much I enjoyed them!!! I love all the flavors and the way everything was combined. All my family wanted to try it! I really really hope this helps me. I’m eating this all week and If it helps me I’m changing the way I eat forever! Nothing is worth losing your health and vigor for life! Thank you!

I made this meal plan this week. OMG.. so delicious! I actually teared up when I started eating it because I found out I'm allergic to gluten and dairy and my entire diet had previously consisted of bread and milk products. I felt so lost and had no idea what to eat (that's how I found your video and blog). I must admit, the smoothie didn't keep me satisfied until lunch so I ended up including a small bowl of oatmeal to go along with it. But everything else worked P.E.R.F.E.C.T.L.Y. and kept me full all day and night. Okay, just to put that in perspective: I'm a 250 lb man... so when I say this meal plan is satisfying, It means something.

This reads as unrealistic spam. Very few people are allergic to one let alone two foods. Gluten would make you celiac and dairy would be lactose, the fact that wasn't said suggests to me this comment is either entirely false or the person is lacking alot of understanding.

I've made it to day 5, and am feeling well! I have added some protein to a couple of the meals - one night I had a small piece of salmon, another night tuna, and a couple times diced avocado. I am trying to eliminate taking pain killers for arthritis, and this seemed like a good place to start. I have also added an intense stretching program that I think is helping too. I wanted to address some of the other comments here. If you are not a regular cook, my advice is you need to add extra time to this meal prep. I'm guessing Lacey's idea was having everything prepped before you start cooking & putting this all together - like veggies all cleaned & cut-up, lemons squeezed, etc. Have all your spice containers out, measuring items at the ready, etc. Know & have ready all your containers that the prepared foods will go into, and ready the space in your frig to receive these items. And I'd also suggest you go shopping ahead of time, like on another day. I started this on Monday of this week, and went to the store in the morning ... then came home & started cooking. Because I hadn't done any of this other prep ahead, this took me much longer than 1 hour & 45 mins. I had had my morning smoothie before going to the store, but lunch was really delayed! But I will know better next time! I also have a question: I thought the plan for anti-inflammation is to eliminate refined carbs from the diet. Are quinoa & wild rice acceptable in this definition? Thank you Lacey! I love your videos & advice ... I'm going to attempt your 7-day plan next, and probably your 30-day too!

The sweet potatoes, bananas, rice and others have high carbs. This is not a low-carb meal but an antiinflamatory. I'm gonna try it. But I live with 2 other adults. I'm gonna have to figure them into the equation. And then watch them eat their junk food with it. Wow, I may have a resentment somewhere.

I thought I was still dealing w hemorrhoids but I saw a surgeon who confirmed the fissure. Questioning some of these food choices. Although Turmeric, kale/greens and sweet potato are all good for people w inflamation almost all of the other foods are very contraindicative. Nuts ( almonds in particular) Are very inflammatory as the skin in particular is not only hard to digest but contain tannins whi h negate any nutritional benefit. Beans/legumes are also unfortunately a big No for people who suffer from chronic inflamation due to anti nutrients known as lectins as well as also being very hard to digest. Grains are another highly inflammatory food. Essentially someone with chronic inflammation should initially follow an Elimination diet/AIP until symptoms resolve and healthy digestion has been achieved and acknowledged AND THEN can attempt the slow reintro of SOME of these nutrient dense foods. My goal here is growth via knowledge. Not to come off as rude or condisending! For people looking to heal their bodies of chronic longstanding inflammation naturally I suggest researching the auto immune paleo protocol otherwise known as AIP, maybe take a look at Stephen Gundry's plant paradox but certainly take with a grain of salt. I have had chronic inflammation for over 10 years and have done countless hours of r Research The only thing I've learned for certain is that no one person or diet is a 100% accurate. I was best served by seeking professional help from an all natural registered dietitian. Hope this was helpful. Be well and stay posirive! Xo

@@patriciatetzel728 I used to think the same way you did...with a passion! But then I got sick, I mean really, chronically ill. I have been healing for the past couple of years on high quality, pasture-raised animal products directly from the farm. I make my own bone broth now and exclusively have learned to cook at home. It is only now, after working on healing for this long period of time that I can begin to reincorporate *some* fruits, veggies, and legumes that I could not eat previously. Even though it was difficult to start eating meat again after almost two decades of not doing so, it has been a godsend! Finally, I am not bedridden anymore!

I would just change it up a bit to give the meal a different flavor. You could switch some of the ingredients, or add some herbs, or spices, It would be easy to add some different fruits to the smoothies such as berries. I look forward to trying this, it appears less complicated than some meal plans. It should also make my mornings much easier! Thanks!

I freeze my meals! I cook every other Sunday only and fill the freezer with lunch or dinner meals, double bagged. Helps a lot, espy working 2nd n 3rd shifts. Ex: make meatloaf but stuff n bake into zuccinis aka zuccini boats; or stuff into baked red peppers, or ...meatloaf and broccoli). Once cooled enough, I fill 4 quart freezer ziploc bags and then put those 4 in one larger 1 gallon bag, label it. Or I'll bake chicken and stuff it w quinoa n brocolli, chicken salad baggies, and chicken taco baggies. Each combo gave me 3, 4 meals, so I'd have a month's worth of variety. I had an expensive food vacuum thingy but found that double-freezer baggies worked better. You can use a straw to suck the air out or you can let water squeeze the air out, too by dunking the filled bag in water up to the lid, zip it and double bag your baggie with similar meals.

It is dependent on a person's view & the food selected. The reasoning of budget. Many say variety. When we have certain ingredients these can be used different ways so the appearance & taste are different. Say you have cabbage eat it raw as a wrap, in a type salad, bake it, or boil it & there's good broth to drink too. Each way is different in appearance & flavor.

The way I see it is, you prepare a whole week's meal for convenience so when you get home hungry and with no energy or desire to start preparing and cooking dinner (or lunch for the next day) you end up ordering out or eating unhealthy fast food instead. If you can't eat food that has been cooked and refrigerated for more than two days, then go ahead and cook daily. But you should not eat at restaurants or order out because most restaurants use pre cooked food or portions of the food, which may have been frozen for days, if not months.
