We have four small boys and two of them have an autoimmune condition that inflames the brain. We have cut ALL gluten, sugar and dairy from our house and have gone hard on meat, fish, tons of vegetables/fruits, nuts, cauliflower rice, etc. and we have noticed a giant difference. We also took them out of traditional school because of the massive amounts of sugar that were offered to them daily. The difference is amazing! A great idea for any parent whose child is struggling (emotionally, behaviorally, with sleep…).

When she started mentioning the foods that reduce inflammation, almost all of that with the exception of a few increased my inflammation. The last 2 weeks I cut out most grains " bread" obviously, but the grains and fruits for me made it worse. So the last 2 weeks it's just been red meat, fish and leafy greens. Not nightshade plants or vegetables, and my joints already feel better. Within the first couple of days I noticed it. Now I won't say I won't eat any carbs , and I do like beer, but over all it's helped me. Everyone's body is different.

Yeah I started to have a severe inflammatory problem a few months after doing keto and losing 20 lb I start to have severe neck pain it's been about a year now my weight went from 250 to 181 and the more I lost weight the more neck pain I had. I have never had these kind of issues until I did keto and 16/8 even in high school I used to run track and play lacrosse and I never had this kind of pain before and I used to get injured in Lacrosse on a daily basis and I usually healed pretty quick from injuries

I am 31 and as far as I remember I am suffering from inflammation since the past 6 to 7 years. Till date i am suffering and it has only gotten worse, headaches, chest pain, difficulty breathing, tiredness etc. Its all so disheartening. Just one thing I remember I used to drink ginger tea alot 5 to 6 years back although I did not know anything about it, just out of habit. And I remember I always felt soo much better and relief in my symtoms. Although my pain and other symtoms have gotten worse over all these years I feel it's time to add ginger tea again to my daily routine along with other foods you mentioned. Thankyou for the reminder.

My inflammation symptoms started with chest pain, right above the heart, sometimes palpitations, then a four week long throat ache, arthritis, very painful ear infection, then swollen thyroid and finally an unexplained weight loss, much more bowel movement, bad digestion. And on it goes. Every month it seems I get some new symptom. I've been trying to eat mostly alkaline food these past two months and I had many good day but symptoms keep coming back in different variations. And I'm losing weight. I'm about to go below BMI of 19.

Hi Lacey I just came across your channel and I'm so grateful for all the info. I have suffered from chronic inflammation for about 12 years now. The pain is so bad that I can only sleep on my right side only. After having my second baby and the excess weight gain, the frequency of the pain from the inflammation moved from once in a while, to each day, all day everyday. I also don't wear bras anymore as the inflammation is under my left breast. It has really robbed me of fully living with freedom and being present for my family because half the time I'm drugged with painkillers. So im going to start with some of your recommendations and foods. Thank you for this

I wonder if I’m being a hypochondriac but I seriously am so mad at myself for being so stupid. I broke my pinky finger, the base of my proximal phalanx about a year and a half ago, and unfortunately it healed with a malunion, I should’ve just let it go, but I’m a guitar player and I was considering doing osteotomy for it. It still affects me everyday because it healed with a hyperextension and rotation at the base of the proximal phalanx. Which is the worst place to break your finger cause it’s right by the joint. I wish I would’ve had surgery but for whatever reason the one I went told me to just buddy tape it conservatively. I didn’t get a cast or splint. Not even advice on best position to keep it in. I went to several different surgeons since then and got probably maybe 7 to 8 different x-rays over the course of the year, I also got a CT scan recently on my hand as well, I have been reading a lot about how I can damage the DNA, I can’t really explain it, but before my hand felt stupid and now it feels not only slowed but also feels like it’s hot to the touch which is inflammation. I feel like my hand is so weak, I just tried playing the guitar and maybe it’s partly muscle memory but I feel like I basically nuked my hand and destroyed it. My hand CT was a high 4.18 mGy and 101 DLP. That’s over a year and half of background radiation blasted into my hand. I also got a MRI to even though they said that’s non ionizing. But I’m sure there is still risk. Which is according to research about a year and a half background radiation. The problem is they don’t tell crap about that as you’re going into appointment. Wish they did. Cause I read it can damage your dna and it’s not like after a year and a half it’s back to good. It stays with you forever. This is the most covered up conspiracy of our generation. Withholding the risks of radiation ☢️ in our lives.

Ok so I'm obese and have chronic inflammation on my legs. My right leg is so big I have trouble finding pants and my feet are so swollen I can only wear tennis shoes. I have been to dr after dr and I'm only told tha my blood work is normal and I'm jus very overweight. Well duh! So, I have been eaing clean for four weeks now and eating foods that are whole and nutricious with low to no sugar and have even given up bread. I'm getting frustrated because I'm not seeing any results (they may be there and I'm overreacting). I had my husband hide the scale because I become obsessed with the scale everytime I try to lose weight. I'm 56 years old and I know if I don't get healthy and make these life changes I might as well be planning my funeral. I love your videos and have made many of the recipies you share. I appreciate your inspiration!

Hi carol, hope your health will improve after some time. Try warm sugarless freshly homemade turmeric ginger tea every day by cutting turmeric (yellow ginger) and ginger finely and add them in to bóiling water to boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Add black pepper for better absorption of curcumin in the Turmeric. May add in half teaspoon of Himalayan salt for better taste. Drink 2 cups per day for one month and see if it helps but DO NOT DRINK THIS IF YOU'RE ON BLOOD THINNER. Cilantro is anti-inflammatory and detoxifying too. Avoid sitting down for too long or habitually lying on bed or sofa in the day to relax as it worsen inflammation pain. Physical exercise is important. Try some physiotherapy stretches exercises (find them on-line KZread) it helps. Another possible cause could be body react to food allergies resulting in inflammation. A blood test is able to find out what food you may be allergic (food sensitivities) that causes inflammation in you. Take care and hope you get well soon. Don't give up, keep trying

Shalom Carol, green teas herbal tea like chamomile peppermint chai reall help you to drink more water, a soothing hot tea is easier to drink than cold or room temp water. Plus taking a magnesium supplement helps relax the muscles and aids in good sleep too. Positive speech also helps, you really have to call those things that are not yet, you say what you want or need. You tell your brain you are healthy you are full of hope and love strength and joy, your inner mind subconscious mind will hear you and believe these positive words you speak. We are what we have been saying about ourselves, I had chronic pain went to many doctors, they said I have edema swelling of my limbs, duh!! I also strated reading the Bible specifically the Psalms , these helped me so much 🤗 I began to feel better and full of hope as never before, I can now walk go up and down the stairs, which I couldn't before. My doctors could not ease my pain or find the root of my problem, God is so good and Great, He did for me what no Dr could....

I cannot take a Ginger or turmeric because I am on blood thinners and the doctor told me not to take those spices. He also said not to eat too many green leafy vegetables because of vitamin K which can interfere with it as well. I will try to follow this as close as I can

In my case dark chocolate or any chocolate or even cocoa increase inflammation because they're very high on the list of acidic foods, next to coffee and alkohol.

Yes. This diet helps all autoimmune conditions. You may find Dr. Amy Myers book about autoimmune diseases useful. You can probably check it out for free at your local library. She was in a wheelchair with MS and cured herself by changing her diet.
