    1). Sorry for being really late to the game, I found this video while scrolling the web for Final Space related stuff. 2). Seeing as I'm new to your channel and a bit too late to really contribute to your Final Space content for it to have any real relevance, I would recommend One Punch Man. Or revisit Final Space and maybe discuss all the characters one by one and same with the episodes and lastly the comic book. 3). He murdered Viro the Lord Commander's second-in-command and right hand in cold blood, seemingly without a second thought or hesitation in mind and pretty easily, and Viro was a cyborg not a robot there is a difference, he was very much a living sentient being and not some mindless robot creature. I don't think Little Cato had any problem taking someone's life seeing as he just shot Viro in the head not even giving him a chance to notice him entering the bridge. Little Cato was caught up in his blind hatred of the Lord Commander and maybe was a bit shocked that he had managed to get that far and even taken out the Lord Commander's Second, the next biggest threat from the Tera Con Empire surprisingly easily. Keep up the great work 😉👉

    His backstory supports the theory I had that the drawback of AFO’s quirk could be kleptomania, specifically an uncontrollable version of it that is deeply rooted in his biology. The fact that he even stole his brother’s nutrients out of pure instinct almost confirms this.

    Interesting, I was born in the late 2950's grew up in the early 1960's, they called black people Negro, some people with a southern drawl made it sounded like what they call now the 'N.' word. In Spanish class I learned the word for black is 'negra/negro. The 1970's is when I started to hear 'black' people used. I'm a Home Health Aid, and so one of my clients, an elderly white woman, said you're a nice black girl. So I looked down at my black shoes and I said to her look at my shoes, now look at me, now look at my black shoes again, she did. I was being facetious, but we both just laughed. She was from a different day and time and no use to take offense at everything, that was her vocabulary. She learned something new. Very sweet lady we got along fine. The English language changes and life can go on without a war breaking out I imagine.

    I hate how even during a discussion about how OBVIOUSLY context matters, you still feel the need to censor your own damn self during the video. I cannot stand this BS. It's a great video, don't get me wrong, and I'm not blaming the creator because I totally get it; I just hate how that's the case. It's absolutely ridiculous.

    This is a worrying case but the conviction was quashed on appeal. Also, Chelsea Russell has 18 previous convictions for 28 offences, including waving a knife at a three year old. Look up 'Chelsea Russell Liverpool Echo' for more information.

    I don't see how the previous criminal history is related.

  • @joeb5765
    @joeb57652 ай бұрын

    @@TryMyMartini Yeah totally fair point so I'll try my best to explain myself with more detail. Say for example, you have a history of rape convictions. If you get out of prison after 3 rape convictions, and then you are convicted of rape again 2 months after being released from jail then the judge will take into account the fact you have a criminal past, or that you are a recidivist (if you want to use a posh word) when he/she is passing sentence. Previous behaviour is naturally taken into account. It's a basic moral principle: committing 10 crimes is worse than committing 1 crime. Does that seem reasonable? So: Where offenders have previously been convicted of one or more criminal offences, the court must take this previous offending into account as an aggravating factor when sentencing in respect of a new offence, providing that it considers that it is ‘reasonable’ to do so. Previous convictions can consequently have the effect of increasing the severity of the sentence imposed.

  • @TryMyMartini
    @TryMyMartini2 ай бұрын

    @@joeb5765 Yeah, that's not in question when we're talking about a new actual crime. I'm talking about in this particular case, what would their previous history have to do with a completely ridiculous "hate crime" charge for posting song lyrics. A person who posted published song lyrics and was convicted of a hate crime could have been a mass murderer of cute little puppies, and it still wouldn't make THIS charge absolutely absurd. Her criminal past is completely unrelated to this bizarre charge.

  • @ob1coyote
    @ob1coyote2 ай бұрын

    You’re basically saying that someone with a record is deserving of unjust punishment simply because they have a record. Certainly a record is relevant in sentencing for an actual crime, but only if it’s an actual crime. What other mistreatment would you excuse for anyone with a distasteful past?

  • @joeb5765
    @joeb57652 ай бұрын

    @ob1coyote No, I'm not saying that. As you can see in my original post, I said that, 'This is a worrying case'. I don't believe that someone should face criminal charges for posting rap lyrics online. We are in agreement there. But the charges were quashed. What I'm saying is that the judge took her previous convictions into account when making a judgement. My whole point is, when you watch these videos (and I have seen this case brought up in other similar videos), ask yourself why the maker of the video would leave out such important, contextualising information. The video isn't 'Someone with a history of violence (including threatening a 3 year old with a knife and 18 previous convictions) was reported to the police for posting rap lyrics, she was convicted but the conviction was quashed on appeal.'. Why not? That's what happened. If you're of the opinion that threatening a three year old with a knife is merely 'distasteful', then I'm afraid we are in disagreement there.

    "fake accusation is wrong", "believe all women" is hypocritical. But i am still fan of Myne, Malty or Bitch. I love chaotic evil characters in fiction. In certain aspects she is like a female version of Ubermensch or become a victim if studied in depth. I doubt most people will admit it or need to discover that for the sake of the show story.

    People miss the fact that their literal conception was traumatic, despite not being wholley concious there were popular studies (now illegal) on infants to show if fear could be ingrained. Little Albert was such a study, there were two things they found infants naturally feared. Loud sounds and darkness. Then they paired the gonging noise with a white whool, and astonishingly found the fear had "transferred" to any material that carried the look and sensation of white whool, most famously a white rabbit. Shocasing, even living creatures weren't exempt. Yoichi's and AFO's condition were atrocious to be honest. The rushing of the waves, the coldness of the stream, the squeaking of the rats intending to eat them...ironically another of the rodent family. So what happened? Where did nature and nurture come to play for the two to be so different? Honestly, It comes down to AFO being more cognizant of his circumstances, Youichi's weakened state likely saved from being aware of what was going by constantly passing out on the edge of death. But his brother.... likely endured all of it. The argument could be said that this nature began in the womb, but to that I say, look at the state of the carrier? The mother. She barely seemed fit to carry children, and there is what appears to be alcohol that she's holding in a daze. One look at her condition and her clothing is enough to deduce that, she barely had any nutrients to offer. The trauma then began sense the boys were concieved with AFO making an effort to survive. Regardless if he was hogging it or not, it was clear, there wasn't enough for all three of them.
