Honestly I had a fan theory about what would happen if AFO tries to steal dark shadow from tokoyami. Dark shadow is one of the few instances of a sentient quirks with a mind of it's own, so wouldn't it be cool if it could just say no to Afo efforts due to it being able to make a choice.

I think you're not factoring in the genetic nature of Quirk factors which are literally stored in the body on a medical level to the point where it can be traced to an evolutionary trait within the pinky toe. Quirks by no means are magic, Iknow that the science behind them hasn't been fleshed out very well but so far the story has never once said that quirks are magic or implied that they work magically which means that rules like all for one can steal any quirk because his biological evolution is stealing quirks, means that basically all quirks are off the table and I think this has been solidified with Stars and Stripes. Who could not make a rule that sad all for one cannot steal my work, even though her power specifically is rules, so I don't see how a person whose power specifically is a dark sentient shadow would be able to overcome someone who can over a power or a quirk that influences the laws of nature

We needed more Jiro in the fight! She can be important in the fight against afo. Sound waves of certain frequencies affect the brain and probably also other life activities, such as (coughing) breathing and heart rate (of course I'm not an expert, but this theory interested me) Tokoyami will certainly cover Jiro and show more of his and Dark Shadow's abilities. Coming back to Deku and his affiliation with the afo - maybe his ability to use his predecessor's powers doesn't come from being related to an AFO but from contacting his abilities when he was a child (the theory that the AFO took Izuku's power when he was a child) Thanks for the episode 😁

@@denji3397 Maybe, but apart from fantasy there is also some science, such as invisibility to the eye associated with refracting light rays. I am a person who is also looking for answers in a scientific and logical way, maybe this is how I overestimate the creators sometimes.

I like Tokoyami so if dark shadow goes berzerk/ragnarok he could probably go toe to toe with AFO. Jiro could use her hearing and sound to help in detecting changes. As always it is all up to Horikoshi. While, they may be able to defeat AFO's physical body what of his ethereal presence that is possessing Tomura at the moment. After all he bestowed Tomura with the original AFO and has himself a copy in his own body. You may be able to take down the man AFO but his ugh, I forget the word his quirks spirit at the center of his quirk. Deku may have to go in to defeat AFO's spiritual hold on Tomura.

We've yet to see katsuki new cluster technique that amps his explosions. He said if it's effective against deku it would work fine against afo. If endeavour and hawks do fail to take down afo. The author might set it up to katsuki to stop him and before anybody says otherwise keep in mind WHO katsuki is (the deuteragonist) if hes the most likely candidate since his goal in life is surpass AM. Meaning this could be his chance to finally achieving his dream. Beating the one villain that could stand toe to toe with allmight

Great theory. But I think Tokoyami will provide more of an opening for Endeavor or Hawks to deliver the final strike rather than taking him down himself. Maybe something similar to the cavalry battle in the sports festival. Though I am curious as to see if Tokoyami will show off any new moves or a combination attack with hawks

I want to see Tokoyami put his Hawk's training into action. I agree, Endeavor could deliver the final blow, but he's actually seriously hurt, and Hawks is pretty weak right now as well

@@TruthHero True. And I think Tokoyami will use Hawks teaching and show how fast he is by blitzing AFO faster than Hawks can. He might provide the opening they need since AFO won't be able to keep up with him until he uses fire or so to weaken dark shadow but before he can, Hawk swoops in and cuts his helmet.

Dark Shadow might be strong enough and resistant enough to attack AFO but he still has that flame quirk to defend against DS. Tokoyami is probably proficient with those blades that Hawks is using. Remember the one that Deku saw in his room?

110% agree with ya, imagine AFO defeated by not Deku w/ the immense awakenings of OFA, nor having OFA shared it with entire class 1A, similar to how he did with Bakugo in the 2nd MHA movie, but rather best bird boy himself will ultimately beat AFO, and imagine the looks on EVERY MHA character’s face when they react to Tokoyami’s incredibly unexpected victory over AFO, that would be golden!!!!

I liked the interaction between Hawk and Tokoyami. I think even if AFO beats Endeavor, the team of Hawk, Tokoyami and Jiro will be able to stand against him. It remains to be seen if Tokoyami will be able to control his berserk mode in the light, but that his power works well with Jiro's is no doubt. And, as Tokoyami fan, I really adore this theory!

"Tolerance for punishment" That is all ladies and gentlefriends.

Tokoyami is not going to defeat AFO. It wouldn’t make sense. Tokoyami is a side character who, while powerful, is no where near the level of all might. It took multiple hits from all might to destroy AFO’s first mask. And I have no reason to think that this mask is weaker than the first one. In fact it might be stronger. So destroying it is out of the question. And even in the unlikely chance that tokoyami actually manages to steal AFO’s mask, I have every reason to believe that AFO will have some sort of get-out-of-jail-free card up his sleeve to make the mask being stolen become unimportant. Maybe he has a spare mask that detnerat made out of nanotech. Or maybe AFO stole a quirk that made him not need the mask if it gets stolen or damaged. Maybe he stole overhaul’s quirk and fixed himself and he is wearing the mask to toy with the heroes. But either way, AFO will NOT lose to tokoyami or jiro or hawks. Maybe endeavor if he can do something about his wound. And if all else fails, there is always deku.

By that logic wouldn't that be the same for literally many other characters? Think about deku, no drawbacks? Lol he would be stronger than even prime all might and prime afo. Bakugo, no drawbacks of his explosions, meaning he can use as many big blasts as he wants? Also one of the strongest in the verse. Same with todoroki, and many other characters. If quirks didn't have limits there would be many crazy op people man.

@@elitecalf1816 Yes but the difference being his power is not that strong in the sunlight which is when most battles are fought he's hindered just by existing. Bakugo's draw back is his amount of sweat which is easy to store and easier to make him sweat although the buildup is hard and the recoil sucks too. Todoroki's drawback has already been fixed cause not only can he properly regulate now he can also mix his powers. Tokoyami's draw back is one of the biggest ones and also his power has the strongest potential and the worst weakness the sun and light is nearly everywhere is what I was saying not everything has to be a debate it was just an interesting thought.

This is a good theory and I even think Tokoyami might succeed buuuuut... There's no way it's actually that easy! I think the mask could even be a bluff at this point . Instead theres a chance this could lead to a proper reveal of AFO's now undamaged face.

If bird boy does somehow manage to break afo life support mask & “defeat” him, I think it’ll probably just end up being part of his master plan, like afo might want/need the hero’s to kill/defeat him so he can finally get rid of his old body then allowing him to finally fully take over shiggys body afterwards, so that’ll start the actual final afo boss battle or something like that lol

At first for a second I was surprised to see those two appear to help but then again this shows that what Deku said about "This is the story we all become Great Heroes" make more sense now....which is the students from Class 1-A will likely be the reason the members like Spinner, Toga, That new Assassin, The Dude who killed Midnight etc...will be defeat even if they aren't all end up land the final blow but at least do something big to allow the finishing blow to land and end the fight for good.

I would say as an argument to your theory, is that I would treat Tokoyami and friends more of a stop gap, than an instant kill/victory. The reason why I would say this is because, even though the weakness is a very glaring one, its going to take more than just a simple destruction of a piece of equipment to stop him. I'm sure that the Mighty King himself, may have one more trick up his sleave before the battle is all over. Also, there is that possibility/probability that another villain that may give him enough of a chance to survive before his ultimate demise. Who knows? Maybe it could be Jiro, that slows himi down with her quirk ability of sound/vibrations, which can act as an effective distraction, but you don't know if it will affect Tokoyami's dark shadow ability. Who knows indeed? However, you do bring up a great argument there with his ability to overpower an adversary with his dark shadow ability, but we also learned that at strong as the shadow gets, the more uncontrollable it can be, regardless if he's fully trained or not. Yes he's gotten stronger with his control of dark shadow, but in a situation where his strees level is at an altime high, who knows? Until next time, Enjoy!

Absolutely he had a spy in Ua so it’s safe to assume he at least has basic knowledge on everyone quirks

I feel like we are giving this mask way too much credit in general. In the last fight All Might completely shattered the mask and the tubes that connected them and all for one was still alive and able to walk away into prison. I feel like them focusing on the mask as a red herring especially because he definitely should have access to hyper regeneration considering it was mentioned the doctor already had it and that it's been passed on to shigiraki, which would imply that all for one should definitely have a version of that since he sees himself as just using shigiraki as a way to extend and prolong himself. It's definitely not going to be as easy as oh we broke the mask so now we got to win

I feel like All for one will be defeated by touya. Because it makes sense if say these a side of touya's quirk we didn't know about and that does actually somehow heal him. The flames of death coming for all for one a man who wants to live forever. Also mean if touya does die he'll die as the one thing he always wanted to be. A hero

I'm sorry but this is a joke. Afo is now shiggy. The true AFO POWER is now in shigaraki. Afo has a copy (apparently. I don't believe this but my opinion) afo might have a max as to how many powers he can have due to his broken and degrading body. But his true part of his soul is in shiggy (if he has the real afo power) the issue with any theory is it the end of the story thus far. The ending has been set for a long time. Most creaters have a beginning and END. Shadow boy is an extra as bakugo states. If anyone other then deku is gonna beat AFO it's bakugo aka the OTHER main character. It's the Goku show. But in the 2000s

It wouldn't really make sense for them to be able to quickly come up with a plan escpecially since jiro and tokoyami JUST arrived and they have to deal with fighting afo
