I mean, there's more evidence than a fire quirk. Deku last saw his dad 6 years before the start of the series, which is when All Might and AFO had their big fight that left both of them disfigured. Inko has said that Hisashi lives overseas for business. All For One is obviously a businessman. And think about it, why would Hisashi want to leave his family behind in a different country just for business? There are surely plenty of business opportunities in Japan, or at the very least his family could have moved with him. Why would Deku's father not contact him in any way with what's been going on in Japan? Horikoshi confirmed that Deku's dad will appear at some point, and we're in the past arc of the series.

is it possible that with all for one stealing dekus dads quirk causing deku to be quirkless?

I think it could be interesting if Deku's Dad works for AFO in some way (maybe as an assassin) in an attempt to expand his global roots. It could explain how Inkou went to Ujiko in the beginning of the series (as they would know of him through AFO), and be an interesting twist if Deku or his classmates had to fight him. Or if Deku fights AFO, then they could use his father as a hostage as "heros have a lot they need to protect".

Did you know? All for one is known to use family members on his enemies? He used Shigaraki/Tenko on All might and Nana Shimura, Dabi on Endeavor and Shoto, Aoyama's parents on Aoyama himself but did you notice that he never targeted Inko in any way even though Inko isn't protected and only lives in an apartment, she never got targeted. All for one only used his friends/classmates, other heroes and other villains like Lady Nagant and Chisaki and even Shigaraki to mess with Midoriya and his mind? He never targeted Inko. All might said that if anyone in your family knows about OFA they'd be targeted but Shigaraki's family didn't know about OFA and even tried to forget about Nana yet still got Tenko affected. It's most likely not a coincidence that he found Tenko. Yet the same didn't happen to Inko even though before the fight of All for one and All might, All for one already knew who Midoriya was, knew he was quirkless and how he looked, especially how he looked because he can only sense things but not see them. If Shigaraki only described his looks, with Shigaraki's early character state, Midoriya wouldn't look the same in All for one's memories. Unless Kurogiri himself would describe him but on USJ only Shigaraki mostly got a good look at Midoriya because Kurogiri is observing the surrounding for threats.

Also have a theory that even though All for one failed to steal OFA from previous wielders, before the wielders died, All for one might've stolen their original quirk that interest him before killing them. Remember, the All for one can combine quirks to mutate or enhance a quirk like what he did to Kurogiri/Shirakumo to create warp gate. Like All for one's force quirk activation quirk, the tendril part might've come from blackwhip, Air walk quirk that he gave to Lady Nagant could've come from float and another quirk like water walk quirk.

Since the entire anime is Deku telling the story of how he became the world's greatest hero, it's possible he's telling it to his dad. There was one manga panel of shadowy figure acting up as the head of the MHA's version of the UN. What if instead of AFO being Deku's dad it's possible that dude could be he's dad. That's why he's not in Deku's life because he around the world dealing with international crap all the time. But I still think Dad For One theory holds up. The fact Inko Midoriya is still fucking alive even though AFO could have killed her at any time just like what he did with previous OFA users raises some eyebrows. We all know that the name Hisashi is a pun to Hisahiburi which translates to "a long time ago." It could refer 1.) how it's been a long time since anyone saw Deku's dad (deadbeat dad joke) or 2.) poking fun of his age. If it's the later, what other character is really old. Also the fact that the Midoriya apartment is customized for very tall people. Who else is freakishly tall like All Might? Lastly, AFO did say that taking OFA and taking over the world is just at the middle of his long term plans. He said in previous chapters that although All Might destroyed his operations in Japan, his influence didn't waver around the world. So when AFO angrily told All Might during during their fight at Kamino Ward that he took something important from him, could imply Yoichi's quirk but could be entirely something else. Maybe, a person? Some people have said the "thing" could mean either an object or person? But sense he was so nonchalant about his Japanese operations crushed by All Might I don't think he was referring to it as the thing that All Might stole from him. What really bothered me was what he told Aoyama's parents during chapter 343: "There is nothing sweeter than seeing the seeds of your hardwork bear fruit. I could really go for a drink. A *40 year aged Macallan* oughta do the trick." 40 year aged Macallan is code for Inko Midoriya. Why is he going after her now?! For revenge? Izuku didn't even directly do shit to him unlike All Might. But even then, AFO said that all the while he was in prison, he could only think about Izuku. Not All Might, the guy who turned him into potato head. Or Shigaraki his puppet. He only thought about was Izuku. Bruh, he killed every single one of the previous OFA right away. What make Izuku so special? Is it because of their mutual fascination for quirks and analyzing them? lol Also, he could have referred to Inko with any other wine. For the heck of it, he could have chosen the cheapest wine out of spite. But no, he had to pick the one that's worth around 44,000 USD, considered as one of the most expensive ones out there. Like what if AFO married Inko because the guy did say, "Hearts can be swayed so easily." But then Inko got pregnant. I could see AFO wanting to have someone take over for a while AKA Shigaraki and his orphanage. Playing house and waiting until Inko and Izuku dies before reclaiming his place as "Demon Lord" once more. (Could this have been his end goal?) But then All Might turned him into potato head which is why during their fight in Kamino Ward he was so pissed because he finally had what he always wanted but then All Might stole that opportunity from him. Not only that, All Might gave his son a dangerous quirk "knowing full well he [izuku] was unqualified to have it." The fact AFO is pissed at All Might for being a bad teacher makes ya wonder like dude aren't you supposed to be the bad guy? Why do you care about your archenemy's protege and the kid's progress? Unless...he is Izuku's dad. The most obvious reason why he doesn't want people to know is because Deku as a quirkless kid was treated very poorly. It would be a lot worse if people found out he's the son of AFO. HPSC and AFO's enemies would have hunted down the poor boy and Inko, which is why he hid them away.

You make a very good point

I still think AFO is Dekus dad. I think its the reason deku handles multiples quirks better than others. Its why he is the perfect user of OFA

All for one does nothing without pushing his agenda and gaining from it. If he had a family it would be part of his plans. If it was to make new versions of his own quirk it would be highly risky(he can't take one for all, same could be for any quirk related to his own) with the chance of making someone have a quirk with more power then his own. All for one does not strike me as settling down to have a normal family for shits and giggles. He is too far into his super villain persona.

@@TruthHero That's only if all for one related quirks can be stolen. So far we have a weak cloned version in a movie. And the cloned copy all for one kept and the original passed on to Shigaraki. There have been some quirks All for one had that could have been firebreath/attraction combos. Like the Nomu at Hosu that absorbed flames to spit it back or the air canon All for one used at kamino. Or decay(pulling apart and burning objects to dust)

Honestly, it will all make sense once we know the motive. There is much evidence besides the fire quirk theory that supports AFO being Deku's dad, yet, the major question is “why.” And that all

People are starting to think Geten is Rei's relative because of the things he told Dabi when they were fighting each other about how he grew up in poverty and trained his quirk but then again Horikoshi is still being big with Rei's identity regarding her past and I also want to know if her mother did anything help because we only heard about her mother in one scene when she was talking to her over the phone in the anime in a flashback and I like to give people the benefit of a doubt

A brief one to kill the theory my friend. Its too much of a coincidence if that is the case. Also, you would think the fact that All-for-One would have been better off trying to train/nurture Deku instead of going through all that unnecessary trouble, just for what, to find a perfect successor, and then take over the body, so that he can extend his life? Besides, his quirk is the ability to transfer quirks from another quirk user to himself, or to another person. A basic storage/stacking type quirk, that he can use to full capacity. Possibly that he may have bumped into Deku's father, and possibly stole the quirk from him, to be used for himself, just like the other quirks that he stole, just ot be used by himself, or transferred to others for them to use at will. While I'm not 100% sure if I am sold on the AFO being Deku's dad theory, I feel like maybe he has something to do with Deku's dad. Like maybe Deku originally had Shigiraki's quirk and it started early on and killed someone in the family or animal or something so Deku's dad went to AFO to take Deku's quirk. Instead of going home maybe he had to go work for AFO and since Deku wants to be a hero his mom is telling is always telling him that his dad is away on business.

He IS known to manipulate people, using his words as weapons against them. Who knows. Like Horikoshi had mentioned, Deku’s father will be REVEALED, not introduced. So it has to be a character we’ve already seen. I’m going to die if it ends up being Endeveor, lol. I’m way too impatient for this whole thing to be announced already!

I belive that afo is dekus dad because its kind of dumb. Like the grand child of one for all using the powers of all for one vs the child of all for one using one for all. I also think that we could get a situation where all for one creates children just to steal their quirks. So deku would be one of 1000 children rather than afo only child. A next generation version of pysic powers like inkos has the potential to be busted due to the quirk singularity.

There ain't no way they prolonged the reveals for nothin. The author said deku's dad will be "revealed" Not "introduced" Indicating we've seen him in the series. Also it makes much more sense for deku to be quirk less since AFO is from the first quirk era where it's rare for human gene to carry quirk. Also When all might notes the irony that justice is born from the bowl of evil. I already knew it's a hint from author About deku's origin *the fact that horikoshi the author is a big fan of star wars and based most of bnha characters from star wars it's possible we got the traditional i'm your father scene from bnha darth vader

I think one of the reasons why the dfo theory doesnt work (for me) is cause hori never actually showed the possibility for the characters to care about it. And when I say characters, I mean the midoriyas. With the dabi/toya theory hori set a whole family drama/story arc for the todorokis, hence why it makes the impact (for these characters) work. If dfo happens it would be surprising for the audience and the people who predicted but not the actuall characters (inko and deku). Because there was no indication that dekus family would have an impact in the history.

I mean we do have a scenario just like Dabi's don't we? We knew that the Todorikis had another son. We know that Deku has an absent dad. One that still didn't appear despite his own son being involved in a war. A father wouldn't prioritize his job in this situation, especially if he has a quirk that is useful in this war. He would at the very least come home. Unless he literally can't show up because he has a mutilated face... We also know that Hori loves Star Wars. Not only that but Shoto and Dabi are pretty obviously inspired by Zuko and Azura. So it would only make sense for Hori to use this as inspiration as well. We've already seen Star Wars references. Also, isn't the fire literally on his ring finger? The finger you'd usually have your wedding ring on? Seems like foreshadowing and too specific to be a coincidence.

I think the main reason why most people hold on to this theroy is that most people are VERY A5 (Anti 50 Family Sitcom). That may also be the reason why most people will not accept Endeavors redemption. They are more afraid that their audience will turn into another Constantine. I feel like Afo is deku's dad because the creator has had a lot of effort not the reveal his entire face. The most we have gotten is his face with one of his eyes but never the entire thing, That's where the secret lies I feel like if his mask does fall off the reveal will be. "Oh shit he has his face back. Wait oh shit he looks like deku!" Now why would afo get it on with inko. Well remember she looked like Nana and afo really likes messing with nana's family. So it's highly possible that after he killed Nana he started seeing Inko which could be Nana's sister

I have my own theory AFO is impotent. He is all powerful but can't get it up.

As much as I am supportive of the AFO father theory and would love for it to be the case, I can’t acknowledge this latest “fire” quirk in AFO’s arsenal as proof of that theory. Deku’s dad had fire breath. While this quirk has “fire” coming out of AFO’s ring finger. Im sure that AFO will either say he is papa-san or deku will figure it out somehow. But until then, we have no definitive proof. Especially not this quirk AFO is using in his finger. We also have no proof of whether or not it is actual fire. It could be some sort of energy for all we know.

I think it would be more fun if AFO turned out to be All Might's Dad. It's all pulling at strings. The one theory I like is Shigaraki's quirk coming from Deku himself. But that is still almost as far fetched.

I think there's definitely something off about Deku's dad, or else he wouldn't be so intriguingly mysterious. I just don't think he's All for One, at least I don't want to, everybody already predicts this hypotesis.

I firmly believe that the five quirks on AFO's fingers are the ones he has chosen to use to counteract Endeavour, probably killing him with a combined attack of all 5 powers in one quirk.

the story is ending in 2022 because it is suppose to. no one influenced him. MHA was originally going to be 32 volumes but it was extended already. there is no indication of anyone influencing anything.

I believe in the theory that AFO is his Dad but this image is not an evidence at all. There are plenty of other evidence that are far more convincing than this single image. You just have to find a good video that talks about it. One of the argument is that Horikoshi said that we would see Izuku's dad soon in the manga, but introducing a whole new character in this very important arc full of fights, with nothing special apart from being the protagonist's dad, is useless to the story. If Izuku's dad is a normal dude that we just never saw (he is supposed to be some kind of office worker) why did he not went back to Japan to be with his wife who was struggling because of the war and her missing son? Izuku's dad has to be someone we already know, otherwise Horikoshi has no interest of introducing him. And the only person we already know that could fill that role is AFO. The other characters we know couldn't be it because we know almost everything about them when AFO is always clouded in mystery...

A very disturbing concept, but the only way that I can see All For One being Deku's father is if he raped Inko for some reason. While it wouldn't be beneath him to do such a thing, I wouldn't wish this on Inko at all. Plus, diving into this scenario goes into a whole 'nother can of worms that I really don't want to get into. So I like the idea of Deku's dad being someone else instead and think this is the theory that's going to become canon.
