I just thought of something. What if Nighteye’s predictions will come true for All Might b/c Nighteye told him about his future, but it didn’t for Deku b/c Nighteye never mentioned his future to him. In other words, the act of telling someone their future is what cements it to always happen.

I do think, to some extent at least, Nighteye's predictions are always capable of being changed. Nighteye himself is described as resigning himself to them after a point. Now that being said... Does All Might walk out of this alive? I don't know. But I don't think he went there thinking he was signing his own death warrant. He knows he could die, accepts the possibility, but he didn't walk in planning to die.

​@TruthHero in a way they do have eri there I mean quirk was reverse engineered but it's beyond people's understanding I think afo is rewinding to fast and that will be his downfall All might might die but only temporarily and get revived.

So kind of out there idea, but maybe Iron Might just needs to wound AFO and maybe Stain could use AfO's blood to paralyse him at a critical moment.

Call me crazy, but I think All Might could actually pull this off. The suit is meticulously planned out and created by the Shield's, known for top tier tech. If it mimics his students, and probably more -- it could have something similar to chargebolt's quirk (which he specifically used electricity to slow regeneration down so the moves AM is making are planned out ) , or more importantly -- ERI. They spent a significant amount of time together, and have been actively researching and understanding her quirk since the Overhaul arc, ntm they were able to restore Mirio so obviously progress has been made. What if the suit can absorb the excess rewind energy AFO is letting off at really close range? He could be just luring him like Kamnio and giving him a false sense of security for a decisive blow or a grapple that at worst takes both of them out together

Its always great to see and hear from you again as always my friend. Here is my take on this chapter review. As far as facing One-For-All again, except that he's in his youthful form, and All Might is in a Powered Suit, You love the fact that he's battling again, except that under these circumstances, we find that in my humble opinion, I would interpret it this way. 1 - After putting up a good psychological fight, and really humiliating All-For-One this long, I feel that they way its going, the battle is going to end very soon, with both combatants, critically damaged in such a way where there is no point of return. All-For One stolen rewind quirk is literally going to finish him off due to his hubris and constant distraction. Also, all of his stored quirks will disappear as he continues to reverse age himself. 2 - All Might understood that time is of the essence, also realizing that fate is something that cannot be changed unless its forced. He already considered that even if he won, at what price is he going to pay at the end of the battle. Also, he has already factored in that the next generation of heroes that are left fighting, will eventually take over, even after he's already long gone, and possibly only remembered through historical actions and duties that was performed at his highest of levels. 3 - Both combatants will fall, however, both combatants will survive in a different way, as fate will bend again, but at an ungodly price. One-For-All will become a footnote in history by fading away to nothing, while most of All Might physical from will be destroyed, however will be psychologically active in a different form, aside from living in Deku's head. Now if I wanted to really use my imagination, then I would probably go this route. 1 - The battle between All-For-One and All Might gets interrupted by Heroes and Villains that are still alive and available for combat, and turn the tides of fate. 2 - Somehow or someway, Deku comes in to finish what All Might has started, and changed fate, via Deku's interference, death, or both surviving but barely, as One-For-All has been defeated. 3 - Shigaraki not only kills both All Might and One-For-All, he also commits suicide, so that he can gain satisfaction by not only becoming free from One-For-All's grip, but also remove All Might forever. 4 - Same as the one above except, Shigaraki get defeated by Deku at the end. Unfortunately, Deku is psychologically scarred, and leaves the Hero spotlight. 5 - Same as option 3 except, Both All Might and One-For-All, as well as both Shigaraki and Deku gets killed at the end. After the battle is over, and the dust clears, everyday life slowly returns to normal. As far as fate is concerned, its like in the movie "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" in which John Connor tells T-800 the phase, "The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves." Even though Nighteye predicted the future of All Might's fate, what's not to day that it can be altered? However, we can say that by accepting one's "fate", the way its going to be played out, its acceptable to say that, he's already looking forward it with no regrets. On the other hand, there is that chance where he can watch what happens, if he remains vigilant, and attempts to prolong his own predetermined death. Nothing wrong with that choice either. Let's really see how its going to map out at the end. Till next time, Plus Ultra!!

Hey it's you! I really like possibility #1, would be fun to see AFO gradually lose quirks. One interesting thing would be if AFO tried to force rewind onto All Might in order to kill him. Yes, time would run out on Toshinori, but not before he returns to his prime once again.

@@TruthHero Man....if AFO does decide to do that, that would not only change the playing field, it would also alter fate as well. Think about it. If rewind is forced upon All Might, there there is a possibility that the scenario of death may not occur. That would be insane.

Firstly Welcome Back 🫡. My theory is where is Stain and what was the point of bringing him back. I feel he comes back and helps all might stall .. Stain was a lynchpin in helping many villains so its only right he fixes that problem. Especially alongside All Might..

Welcome back truth, This was a good chapter, I love that we finally get to see how nana and toshi met (i think we seen a part of this flashback before when tosh was talking with stain and we see young toshi pass some collapsed buildings and run into help) I hope next ch, we see a flashback to when nana passed on ofa i do think all might will die in this fight at the end of ch 399since it heavly been hinted at that he will die and it would feel underwhelming if that story arc isnt payed off. Predection: I think in ch 399, i think will all might put a strain on his body (like the amoured bat suit from batman beyond) which will leave him open to a devasting attack which will critically injure all might and his final moment will pass on a message to deku through ofa Then ch 400 will cut over to deku vs shiggy for a chapter to see how the fight going and deku reaction to his mentor death (I think after all might dies, deku lighting will change from blue to a solid white colour to show the completion of ofa)

Just remember in the last chapter 396 All Might remembers to the moment where not only Deku asks All Might about Night eye's prediction of his death but it's the moment All Might says he will live, he will not be killed, he will not let the future that person imagine come true and Deku declares "No matter what happens to you, I will twist fate with you!" so maybe it hinting All Might survives this cause someone comes in the last second to save him that person maybe Stain after all the one who relight the Hero Flame in All Might was Stain plus he was there when All Might told Shoto and Tenya to go stop Dabi from exploding.

Did Nighteye foresee the destruction of All Might or the AM Armor after Toshinori punched out using either invisibility or smokescreen? I do want to see him in the vestige world but he said he didn’t plan to lose. I will forever believe that Deku didn’t bend fate but rather Eri’s altering of the timeline that allowed the change.

Yeah I think Eri has something to do with "bending fate", maybe her rewinding Deku changed his body and mind and therefore he was a "different Deku" than who Sir Nighteye touched and predicted. I believe Sir Nighteye's prediction didn't specify, it was 6-7 years time.

While i do agree that this is the fight sir nighteye saw, I do think that All Might/Toshinori can twist his fate like Deku did. I think it has to do with a few things: 1. Nighteye said it takes the wills of multiple people and an energy source to converge around for the "twisting of the future" (it's his theory but i think it has merit i'll get to that lol) 2. What Stain said to toshinori about how him being all might is not just about him having a quirk 3. What Toshinori said to Tsukauchi at the end of 396 "We've been friends for a long time so you should know that I'd never go into a fight thinking I will lose" Let me explain why these 3 points are important to all might living. Strong wills changing/affecting the outcomes of certain situations is a big theme here and especially for all might it's a strong suit of his. I think what stain sees in all might is his strong will to save people and his willingness to put himself in harms way (along with what he said to all might). I think All Might is aware of the possibility of his death here because of nighteye's prediction, but i truly think Deku inspired all might to fight for his own life along with everyone elses (and if he can't do that he's still not gonna lose this fight) I think it's possible that all might and AFO do take each other out (that's the scenario i see all might dying in) but thinking about Deku inspiring all might and what all might said to Tsukauchi makes me think he may survive just barely. maybe i'm just too hopeful but something about all might's spirit makes me think that AFO fucked up by engaging with him but all might is smart enough to know that AFO+hate+youth is gonna mean that AFO can't ignore all might and the mind games and stuff all might has been doing is showing that AFO is not invincible and all might quirkless has done a lot in this fight (with iron might suit support of course-- though i don't think the suit will survive lol all might's chances are low the suits are lower lol) so that's my crackpot theory anyways i'm glad you're back reacting to the MHA manga

i just want to remind everyone that all might had that suit since dark deku/villian hunt arc and never used it until now for no reason. Endeavor almost killed AFO all by himself until rewind kicked in. if all might was ther with the suit the could have killed him since electricity can slow down regeneration aparently, which is a feature that totally doesn't break any previous battles in the series...

I honestly don't think All might would want to change he's fate from what Nighteye's "prediction" said. All might would die heroically, he would feel like he did something, honestly sounds like the death most hero's kinda want? So, abit of a theory ig what if only some of Nighteyes "predictions" is able to change, just not everything? Or what if it can all be changed but only in limited ways? Like all might only had to one other way to die? Like say he didn't go to fight him, instead he would die some other way Not the type of death anyone would want. Or maybe there was NO other fate for him? Just gotta wonder yk? Ig that's kind of saying Nighteyes predictions aren't JUST predictions?? What if there abit more than predictions? That would be cool as heck! 👀
