Its really just rewind. Eri with rewind on deku and afo with rewind. Rewind messed up the timelines nighteye predicted. If deku didn't die then automatically him predicting allmight's death goes down the draim hence deku should have been ded when night saw allmight's future.

​@@denji3397I love it. I had the same idea. Sir NightEye's quirk didn't work because of rewind. It literally rewinds a person's body to the past. Sir NightEye can't predict a future that is altered by another time based quirk. Without Eri, Sir NightEye's predictions would have come true.

I am extremely interested in how this fight will end. With AFO being hit with Eri’s quirk, I feel like he will soon hit a point where his power will outpace his control. While I would love to see that in a fight, I’m sure that is a worst-case scenario for the heroes haha 😅

I have mixed feeling about ch 403 & 404 chapter I do think all might should have died after the gauntlet exploded since i feel it would have been a great send off to his character As much as i like bakugo as a character, i do feel like he should have stayed dead to give this arc weight and as i said a year ago, i would be okay with him getting revived if there some repercussion for the edgeshot surgery like him being essintally quirkless or he can only use his quirk for brief periods before having to take a break

Eri is the butterfly in this chapter. She gave mirio his quirk back, allowing mirio to prolong this battle till deku arrives and keep bakugo from getting battered to death.

@@TruthHero you could also extend this to nighteye. He was the sole reason deku was able to save eris, he died saving the girl that made the circumstances that saved all might. The one thing nighteye thought he failed at doing.

Good to hear your dulcet tones again. Pretty sure Horikoshi is implying that the fate bending is due to the massive will of the people being channeled thru the two connected heroes, Deku and Bakugo, both sharing the same quirk eyes. I’m hoping that All Might survives being saved because the way it’s drawn, Bakugo is breaking the sound barrier when he collects him. Posting this late you should have used the officials because there are subtle differences. The second qualifies his warning saying it should be after Deku’s found the path to victory. At that point Deku is grasping Bakugo’s hand for the X-catapult launch. Bakugo’s final words in the chapter are Time To End This. A nice foreshadowing. They’re back together again baby.

I believe that the fate shifting has to do with a new variable is introduced in a situation it changes it. Eri wasn't part of that equation, and Bakugo being revived was also not part of that and Bakugo becoming a true hero. So extreme odds intercepting moments change fate.

Afo himself was rewinding using a variation of rewind. The onlt 2 instances where the fate has been changed had to deal with rewind. Horikoshi is a genius with respect to this tbh. He made us think that mere wish can affect fate while the real reason is rewind something which affects reality hence affecting the fate.

Its always a pleasure to hear from you and your contents again. Here is my opinion on this matter... I believe that All-Might is not out of the fight yet. There are still things that he can do regardless if he's able to continue going forward. Yes he's taking a lot of physical damage do to the events that just happened, with the comeback of Bakugo, and an added boost to his actions, via recoil from Deku. As long as All-Might is able to communicate with Deku via the vestiges, there is still a possibility that hero society can win. Also, Deku has the added help from from Eri, considering that her powers still has not hit its limitations yet. All we know is that her ability to "rewind" may even have more possibilities. As far as bending fate, there is that possibility that even a small enough winder can alter the "fated" future. Going back to that old line from the movie "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" "The future is not set. There is no fate, but what we make for ourselves" So, by rescuing All-Might from a fate filled with pain and eventual death from the hand of Shigaraki, his fate has now bee changed. As far as if its for good or not, who knows really?? Other that the fact that it may have even extended his life, instead of his already fated death. So the question is now "What's the next move in order to end the war?" Its really hard to say other than, "Let's see what happens next" Until next time, Plus Ultra my friend. :)_

I don't think All For One is out of this fight I feel like we might get maybe two chapters of Bakugo fighting All For One.

Where are the stakes in this arc? While I’m glad that bakugo and all might aren’t dead, I’m wondering if other people will come back from the dead. Besides toga, who do you think is going to die and stay dead?
