Besides the official translation. We can deduce based on the image alone that the dead man was actually his dad. In the panel of young Enji we clearly see he is the only one approaching the police line while the spectators are far on the back, the officer is waving the onlookers to stay back while Enji was the only one allowed to approach the yellow line because he is a relative of the victim & will identify the body.

He calls them reproductions because as stated by the doctor they are copies of the original quirk that are currently in Shigaraki. Remember when the doctor was being captured he stated that the quirks in AFO are copies and the originals are in Shigaraki. That's why he is confused he thinks that copied quirks shouldn't behave like this.

True true, perhaps he still has some originals, but Shigaraki also has the Original AFO quirk, so maybe AFO can't hold the quirks (og or copies) in check now.

Endeavor continues to prove that he's one of the best written characters in the series.

@@TruthHero I guess it’s because they don’t like the idea of him being “redeemed,” which like, I guess is fair, but it’s still a pretty well-handled arc all things considered

I don't think there's any characters in fiction that I went from hating to loving as much as I have for Endeavor. Back when he was introduced in season 2, I genuinely hated Enji for being a corrupt high-ranking hero that beats on his defenseless wife and child as he's widely praised by the public for his effectiveness as a pro hero. Now he's one of, if not, my favorite character in the series. Enji is the pure embodiment of moving past your mistakes for a better future, no matter how impossible it may seem. His "redemption" has been so masterfully written because Endeavor haven't even been fully redeemed, and he likely never will be. Despite knowing this all too well, this doesn't stop him from pushing on. I hope Endeavor lives, so that his character arc can end in the most bittersweet way rather than ending with a cheap sacrifice.

OK....you going to have me burn my brain on this interesting topic dude. First off, there is the possibility of quirk fatigue, just like a reminder of what happens when your have your quirks, especially when you have multiple quirks, working at the same time, will eventually start to either do the following:, or even worse, at the same time: 1 - Slows down performance. 2 - Weakens powers that can cause physical damage. 3 - Reduces duration for quirks that cause physical enhancements and/or mental facilities/stress/fatigue. 4 - Increases time it takes for quirks to activate. 5 - increases personal physical and mental stress. 6 - Increases quirk fatigue and increased chance of quirk failure. There could be more, however, this is what I can think of, off the top of my head. What can be worse, is that, if say Shigaraki were to help out All-For-One, there is that possibility of not only his powers being transferred over to All-For-Onel, so can Stars And Strips' quirk ability to augment reality, which is still active, and can carry over to All-For-One, to create even more havoc. Even to the point of destroying even more quirks that's contained within All-For-One himself. Also, if its true that All-For-One's quirk ability just mirror's/copies the abilities of another quirk user, then we can say that its almost similar to Monoma's quirk, except that, unlike his quirk which has a limited quirk retention before it disappears, All-For-One's quirk, allows him to not only keep the quirk, but also maintain the stolen quirk, to the point where he can continue to keep it, or transfer it quirk to someone else. Also another factor is that his quirk not only has a containment issue, but also retain the previous quirk user's personailties. Which would cause insanity via hearing voices inside one's mind, and in order to reduce the noise, is to release some of the stored quirks. Anyways, let's see what happens next, as Endeavor is slowly fading away, as he continues to fight against All-For-One, while others are trying to either slow down/weaken him at the same time (i.e Tokoyami, Jirou, and others). Fist of all, happy Father’s Day. Second of all, after reading the official translations, I am now less upset with the quirks rebelling against AFO. It’s because AFO has a copy of his quirk and therefore his control is not as strong as it used to be. Which makes sense given that a) it’s a duplicate and b) he is weaker than he used to be. But I still have a problem with the trigger. Right now, it just seems like jiro’s sound wave allowed the quirks to rebel against him. How the hell does that work? And if that didn’t trigger them, then what did? Third of all, I am confident that AFO is going to win this fight. If not now then later. AFO’s main body has to be defeated by either OFA or Shigaraki. And finally, a new trailer for season 6 came out and it looks amazing. The animation is on par with that of the movies.

Yeah, I love the idea that the copy AFO quirk can't keep the quirks in check like the original but there needs to be a better explanation as to what prompted this response. Do you think Shigaraki will save AFO? And LOL, Endeavor getting a W on father's day O.0

AFO will NOT be saved. He will be killed or imprisoned permanently. AFO revels in his villainy and has been committing acts of evil for over 140 years. There is no saving the dark lord. There is only destruction waiting for him. Gigantomachia’s destiny on the other hand, is a very blurred image. He could die, he could be imprisoned again, he could go into hiding and become an antagonist for an mha sequel. Idk what his future holds. But I’m sure it will be good.

I think it's her speech to tbh and the stars and stripes rampage which he probably felt thru the link which mostly didn't have on him until with it reawakening the vestiges of the stolen quirks which he said along time ago he learnt how to silent the voices

So that's why AFO wants OFA bc his quirk can only make unstable version and he wants the improved version of his quirk.

I think the fragile reproductions refers to how AFO’s quirk is a copy of the original he gave to shigaraki

From my personal interpretation, JIros "Quirk" isnt what galvanized the vestiges inside AFO to rebel, it was simply her words about how ultimate power didn't matter to her, etc. AFO is always speaking down and going on about strength to everyone he encounters. so for them to hear someone rebut AFO's words with honest feelings of wanting to do whatever it took regardless of the difference in strength was enough of a emotinal tipping point for them to intervene and slow AFO down.

I think I've become a lot more mixed with Enji over the years. I started off hating him, then I really loved him, and now I'm pretty much down the middle. However one thing remains consistent, he's easily one of the most fascinating characters in the series

Endeavor actually saved hawks who was saving tokoyami

Maybe because he stole the quirks they have a similar will to their original user, but was being suppressed by his quirk. Now thatvhe gave his original quirk away the all are now slowly, but surely rebelling against him

You look really good in those glasses😉. Tokoyami is our little Gothic, dramatic bird of course he isn't going to have a simple name for his quirks. It's part of his character. The fact AFO is operating under a "copy" of his quirk is probably why he is having problems with his quirk. I mean it looks like he was trying to eat one of the vestiges of a stolen quirk during that fight. I think AFO is on his own after all he has been using Shigaraki as a human host for many, many chapters so I doubt Shigaraki is coming to his rescue. Only problem is even if AFO' "body" is destroyed he ends up living on as a vestige continuing his abuse of Shigaraki. Finally, Endeavor is growing as a character took him long enough. Hopefully with this growth he can actually be able to help his family for once and stop running away from his problems all the time.
