    Genetically, Taiwanese natives are close to the people of southern China, although the people of southern China have more diverse genetics due to assimilation from the northern region. You can't suddenly grow into a human from soil in Taiwan, right? So tell me the truth where are you from? Don't make false accusations against China that glorifies its 56 native peoples so much.

    Hoarding does often run in families. Randy Frost specializes in compulsive hoarding disorder and is a professor of psychology in USA - there are videos of his very lovely lectures and I have two of his books - "Stuff" and "Buried in Treasures". There needs to be an organization for the children of people with compulsive hoarding disorder as that is a particular kind of trauma.

    Mattew Hooton needs to understand that many NZers have an instinctive sense of injustice being done to their forbears, of which they should rightfully be proud... in the radical re-evaluation of our past. That this might lead to an over-reaction and some bigotry should come as no surprise. It is the result of political mismanagement and the pandering to a radical politics.

    Does Chris Finlayson stop to consider for one moment that the reason for all the reactionary dislike of 'treaty stuff' in the mainstream is due to the way in which the treaty has been increasingly re-interpreted by our political classes since the 1970s? I doubt not.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    Hooton doesn't know what he is talking about when he flippantly suggests that the Maori text does not recognize the Crown as sovereign. What he doesn't know is the history involved in the writing by Hobson and Busby, and then the communicating of that text by the missionaries to the Maori, whom the chiefs trusted to act in their best interest.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    Rangatira does not equal partnership. It means chieftainship. In the treaty, the chiefs status as such was to be protected.They retained mana over their tribes while that mana was also limited by a new law and power in the land, the Queen/ Crown. It was a heirarchical world and was to be understood heirarchically. Chiefs themselves reffered to European men of means also as Rangatira - self-determined and free. This addressed the primary concern of chiefs, which was that they would become slaves.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    The 'tragedy' of Maori is that the chiefs were free to sell the surplus of their land, forests and treasures to the Queen and later to settlers. This is just economics 101, we desire economic gain in selling what we have a surplus of for what we have a shortage of [money, goods etc]. Maori today, tend to look at the current value of developed land, after the nation has been built, and project that back onto the bare geography of the past.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    Hooton 'the law has evolved since 1840 and ,more recently, since1975'. Besides the point. It's history that we need to go to in order to understand the treaty. This gives us the fuller context and meaning that was involved. It is also an interesting question to ask whether the treaty itself should also be historized - instead of functioning as some founding/ constitutional document, it should be itself put into a phase of history whereby it was soon eclipsed. Maori rights were ratified by acts of Parliament that became the sovereign power of the land.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    Why, before the 1970s, did Maori radicals say 'the treaty is a fraud' instead of 'honour the treaty'. Because they accepted the common meaning of the treaty... and rejected it. Those after 1970 learned to re-interpret the treaty, now there are two versions of it, one English and one Maoir, and we are all called to honour/ hoitu the ti tiriti. 'Ti tiriti' is endlessly repeated in order to emphasis the new meaning invested in the Maori version.

  • @davethewave7248
    @davethewave72486 күн бұрын

    Tangata tiriti [people of the treaty], if anything, applies to Maori [or Maori chiefs] as they are the ones that signed the treaty. Tangata Whenua [people of the land] arguably applies to all of us. I mean, where else can those of European descent live. This country that our forefather built is thus our home too.

    Chris Finlayson's theory on Brexit shows how he actually feels that the will of the people should be ignored because he knows best. Brexit is right for the UK so long as it adopted fully. Not like the pot pouri they have ended up with as the Government deals with retainers like Finlayson who do not accept the will of the people because they feel they are superior beings. No one is talking about scrapping the treaty. Some articles and provisions have been interpreted over time where some think moves have crossed the line of appropriateness and need a revisit.This has all come about through Maori involved in the last government just having their own way without any thought or mandate from the country. There is a correction and that is going on

    I look at the comments and sometimes can't help wondering if we are living in a parallel world. Palestine as a state never existed. That region which really was known as Judea was changed to Palestine by Roman Emperor Hadrian before even Islam came into existence. If you ask who are the original inhabitants of the Americas, you have to admit it is the native American Indians. Likewise if you ask that question about Palestine, the answer would be the Jews. But that is not the point. History is just change after change. Relevant is that in that region lived Muslims, Christians, Jews. Druze. This was the case under Ottomon empire for 600 years until 1917. Then there were no countries called Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan. The defeat of Ottomon empire was followed by British rule of Palestine and trans Jordan. Present day Lebanon, Syria were under French. To put it simply, 20th century is the century colonialism came to an end. The colonised peoples demanded Independence. Just as the 9% of Muslims demanded a state in British India and were given one even though the Hindus were 90%, so the 19% Jews in Palestine and trans Jordan wanted a state and were given one under UN partition plan. It was the Arab muslims that rejected this and started a war on 15th May 1948, just one day after Israels Independence. That war, started by 5 Arab state armies resulted in the displacement of 750000 Arab muslims, and 850000 Jews from Arab countries were forcibly expelled. If the narrative is justice for the displaced Arab muslims, how about justice for the 850000 Jews that were forcibly expelled from Arab countries? Had the Arab muslims accepted the UN partition plan, there would have been another Muslim state. I doubt it would have been called Palestine, because PLO was not conceived until 1964. So this narrative that its the Israelis that never wanted another Arab muslim state is fiction. Fact is Arab muslims in 1948 did not want, and even now do not want a Jewish state in what they believe is MUSLIM LAND. So if you really care about innocent lives whether Palestinian Arabs muslims, or Jews you would have no option but to agree that Hamas and all other Jihadi Palestinian groups must cease to exist. The Palestinian children taught facts. not fiction and also not have a school curriculum that teaches a GOOD JEW IS A DEAD JEW. The question is do you really care about innocent and peace seeking Palestinian civilians? Israel would happily live along side a peaceful neighbour, but no one in the world would tolerate a neighbour whose sole obsession is to destroy you!

Does what happened fall within the parameters of "...medically unexpected..." The Coroners Act section 14 ss 2b (ii)? NO. Who did not remove the air from the needle before they injected the needle? Obviously. Thats who the Police did not detain for questioning.. why? 2 hours went by and they interviewed non surgical practitioners Mr Coroner. Whats up with that?

    Religious Zionism is a form of idolatry. In Hebrew Bible, Devarim 32:17 reads as follows: "They sacrificed to demons, not God, to gods they had not known, new gods that had come recently, whom your ancestors had not feared". The medieval commentator Ibn Ezra suggested that the “new gods” mentioned in this verse were actually the gods of foreign nations that the Israelites had come into contact with. "new gods" is today's Zionism. Zionism is a nationalist movement that emerged in the 19th century to enable the establishment of a homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine. The movement initially emerged in Central and Eastern Europe as a national revival movement in the late 19th century, both in reaction to newer waves of antisemitism and as a consequence of Haskalah, or Jewish Enlightenment. Since the establishment of Israel, Zionism became an ideology that supports “the development and protection of the State of Israel”. One cannot deny that the conflicts in the middle-east is caused by the Zionist movement and the violations of the 3 Oaths made by the Jews found in the Talmud (Song of Songs 2:7, 3:5, 8:4): The Oaths: First Oath: Israel should not ascend to the land in a wall (i.e., en masse or forcefully). Second Oath: The Holy One adjured Israel not to rebel against the nations of the world. Third Oath: The Holy One adjured the nations not to oppress Israel excessively. Jews worldwide are now paying the price for the violations of the 3 Oaths Zionism ("new gods") is only around 100 years old. It is the transformation from religion to nationalism, to materialism created by non-religious Jews who hated their religion. The reason why they use the name Israel, the Star of David, hijacking, stealing the identity of Judaism and the Jewish people is in order to gain a legitimacy for their existence that should lead people to say, 'oh, it is God given to them' and that they should use fear and intimidate people from speaking out against their actions because they will call those that do anti Semitic; it couldn't be anything further from the Truth.

    G-d gave a portion of the Holy Land to the children of Ishmael. Based on Zohar Shemot 32A ------ [R. Hiyya then says] Woe is to the time that Ishmael was born into the world and was circumcised. What did G‑d do [to appease Ishmael]? He distanced the children of Ishmael from supernal cleaving and gave them [only] a portion below in the Holy Land on account of their circumcision. And in the future, the children of Ishmael are destined to rule over the Holy Land for a long time when it is empty from anything, like their circumcision which is empty and imperfect. And they will prevent the children of Israel from returning to their place until the reward for the merit of the children of Ishmael reaches completion. The children of Ishmael [i.e. the Arab nations] will cause great wars in the world and the children of Edom will gather against them and wage war against them, one on the sea, one on the dry land, and one near Jerusalem. And they [the children of Edom] will rule over them [the children of Ishmael], but the Holy Land will not be given over to the children of Edom. [The children of Edom is the Christian West, for Edom is Rome (see Num. 24:19, Rashi) and Rome signifies Greece-Rome and the Roman Catholic Church, the foundations of Western Civilization] -------------- It had already been prophesied in the Bible that the descendants of Ishmael/Arabs shall administer the Temple Mount/Jerusalem. Isaiah 60:7 "All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory." Kedar is the second son of Ishmael, and founder of the tribe that bore his name (Genesis 25:13). Many Arabs trace their lineage back through Ishmael to Abraham. Nebaioth was also a son of Ishmael Genesis 25:13; 1 Chronicles 1:29, and was the father of the Nabatheans. They were a people of Arabia Petraea, and lived principally by plunder, trade, and the keeping of flocks. The country of Nabathea extended, it is supposed, from the Euphrates to the Red Sea, and embraced Petra, the capital of Arabia Deserts, and also Medaba. It is not possible, however, to fix the exact boundaries of the various tribes of Arabians. The general idea is, that their most valuable possessions would be devoted to God. Dome of the Rock is the Third Temple. There are some interpretations of the Bible that suggest that the construction of the Dome of the Rock is prophesied in the Book of Daniel. Specifically, some people believe that Daniel 12:11 is a prophecy about the building of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days." [Daniel 12:11] It is a heresy/unholy to think that Jews shall administer Temple Mount/Jerusalem as it had been clear in the Holy scripture that descendants of Ishmael/Arabs had been ordained by G-d to administer Jerusalem/Temple Mount. -----------

    I tried to watch it all but you have left out so much important information. Maybe it's because you don't know or maybe it's because you are pushing an agenda. As western countries accept more Islamics we are already seeing and will see more of what Israel has had to deal with for a very very long time. And it's not good. I'm not saying Israel doesn't do bad things. I'm just saying that the Islamic gihadist way is something that most western people can't comprehend. They love death more than we love life. Ask yourself why do no Arab countries take on palistinions???? They have all learnt the hard way.
