Bought the black dial version. Wow! What a hansome watch. Love the hand wound movement!
Oooh that’s a looker
Really nice watch! What’s the light grey strap?
Superb
Only idiots spend 5k for this.. just buy them second hand from the suckers who did.
Thanks for the explanation. I feel the fact that you need to have known some of the parameters beforehand for this to be useful makes it rather impractical in real life. Say at a random stretch of road, you wouldn't have markers with a known distance, unless you prepare and measure it beforehand, without the markers the tachymeter would be useless. And how often do you have vehicles that travel in constant speed in real life? As for the hamburger example, since the tachymeter scale and the corresponding seconds are always constant, a timer and a picture of the tachymeter scale would do the job, you don't really need a watch with a tachymeter scale for that matter.
I dare to say, and Im sober…this watch looks the part, almost just as bombastic looks as Omega Seamaster 300m white dial 😮 for the 1/10th price
Really do like this watch. Some little gems of good design that make it stand out. I'd even swallow the shipping and duties to get to me in the UK. But that brand name. Serious early Christopher Ward vibes I'm afraid. Maybe a logo instead of the name of a imaginary flying canoe manufacturer one day?
Great review of a really nice looking watch. Love that it's a no date😊
I didnt realise it was such a good watch since i only paid about usd$60
Waste of time and money
One watch is not a collection. If One of anything is a collection, I have a house collection, car collection and hundreds of other collections.
I’ve got two Tudor’s, a P39 and a BB925 and both are outstanding.
Great watch but the name! Why
HELP: I can't decide between this Wise ADX GMT or Zelos Spearfish GMT, which do you prefer?? I don't think too many people have had both in hand.
Out of the two I prefer the Wise...but everyones taste is different 👍
I love gada watches. However, the thumbnail is interesting to me. Is the audience for this video targeted to those who have no watch that want a quality gada watch? Or is it for us watch nerds that have multiple watches (in my case, to many) to entice a friend or relative to get their first watch? Lately, is owning 1 watch a collection? Thanks Peter for great content and great photography! Cheers from the USA!
I like it. I don't think I would change anything about it. The hour hand is kinda quirky but I like it. Clasp is perfect the way it is too. No on the fly adjustment is fine for me.
that leather strap is nice. May I ask where to buy it?
I like it, I bought it, I love it, it’s a wonderful watch, great wearing comfort, great design. The price of every watch you buy is too high, what you pay for is the love of the watch and its beauty and aesthetics, and everything fits here.
I don’t ever buy used and I don’t sell. Anyone who does differently is doing it wrong.
That is one hell of a watch mate Andy UK.
cheers Andy 👍
Looks nice but I'm out for this year.
With that price tag comes a question, why would i throw that much money on a german watch? The country known for its overpriced highly unreliable car manufacturing. Something tells me this watch also doesn’t worth more than two grands and they just selling it for that much for the heck of it. Personally I’d stay with Japanese and American brands for my wrist watches.
Bought ciga design watch from TATA Cliq online store on September 2023 and now its not working and its under warranty period. I have contacted tata cliq help center and ciga design support center. They are not responding. Atleast i need service. They are not at all genuine. Its a fraud company from china. Wont get any service from india.
So do you rate these above the WISE Brand ? Respectfully. And this maybe considered bad, but does Monte make a Quartz Watch ? thank you. Always great reviews, you great content and presentation.
Different watches, different finishing, different movements, honestly its too hard to compare properly...apples vs oranges
@@PeterKotsa Thank you so much for your time and response. I can see that the Monte watches have very high end finishes, Do you have any recommendations for high end Quartz watches ? I know Grande Seiko is high on my list. I have 8 automatic watches, fairly high end, they don't keep great time and I have to keep them on winders. Im looking for 3 or 4 high end quartz as I'm traveling more these days. GMTs are high on my list, thx again and Cheers.
@@bayouboy8644 Im not into quartz myself so not really familiar with the models available
Peter, is your generic mesh bracelent 18mm or 20mm wide? Just curious which will fit better. Thanks
20mm 👍
@@PeterKotsa Thanks for confirming, much appreciated!
I can see why, I've never had a Grand Seiko, and I've had an Omega. But I've wanted a Grand Seiko for a long time! However, that Omega is beautiful.
Has anyone found a compatible mesh bracelet that Peter is showing that you could recommend? Thanks
Try this.. www.ebay.com.au/itm/285887455228?itmmeta=01J161GQPECBSQ4G35X8EZYTMM&hash=item4290385ffc:g:hOAAAOSwAcFmWxlm&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0JtpTb2nma9N3QgvdRnj5PksruOAb3pvAx%2BN8iGhLNGc1EU%2FbnYcswBGIY7ougs%2BHPLnAkLHE2iNxU5zGlOOA%2FYyxfKIvxPs9xvWvNsyN9frVWMrKgxjLDQ9oQ9q9ZGzYbn2TOZSXuOl%2F6F79PbAVVgoVcDahqrXuCF7%2B8a4MrgHlh3PKWAlDH3Q4ZBtOnF5H%2FCubfIeActRULMI0B%2Fvi42YSuz23cA0%2FV3LtDbj894ErwT%2FZ%2BGsH%2F9KZK%2F6Dk3UzKSjLVu7Gvh84F6w8mcLE68%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR6j7wsGJZA
Great video as usual, How do this watch match up against the Monte GMT ? Respectfully.
Glycine use the same locking system and have for longer than yema.
Just being no-date is a few extra points from me. Date windows just look tacked on 90% of the time.
Is it better than the Henry Archer Vesterhav that you reviewed, they look very similar.
I think the Henry Archer is priced really well which is great The Ocean to Orbit seems to have a higher level of execution on the case and dial
Dumb name and overpriced
Thanks. Beautiful piece. Would buy quickly if a 42 version were available for bigger wrists.
How does this stack up against the Monta . Respectfully
Interesting comparison..I think regarding quality the Wise has seems to really have excelled here without the high cost as compared to Monta. The Wise looks and feels like a watch you can still be wearing in 20 years from now..
Way overpriced for a crap movement. It's for army dreamers. And clowns. 😂.
Microbrands 👎
Good looking watches. I find myself drawn to the tuxedo dial version, but have to think about the price. The green dial version needs a red tip on the second hand. Green with red always look good together. My green dekla turbulenz is a great example. Seiko has honored Naomi Umuera with various willards. Think it would be outstanding to have a special model for Purnima. Thanks for the great review!
Look at your prospective purchase. Do you love it? If yes, buy it.
Great discovery! Thanks for sharing my friend 😊
Thanks for visiting Francois 💪
@@PeterKotsa , my friend, I’m still having technical difficulties with posting but, I hope to have them resolved soon. In the meantime, I’m engulfing myself with your nicely done reviews. Keep ‘em coming!
So how long does a natural patina take in Germany for example? I don’t live anywhere near the sea. In my apartment I usually have around 70% humidity because I have a lot of plants.
At 70% thats what we experience here in Melbourne Autumn and Spring. Give it time and it will gradually take on the correct patina (dont force it) 👍
@@PeterKotsa alright then...
A modern, non-hacking watch for 2,652 GBP - I cannot get my head around that.
You know "my little man" can mean penis?
Great review. I think I would prefer the brand name to be left off the watch. It’s too long and makes it look too busy. Otherwise, nice looking watch. The bracelet reminds me a little bit of a Formex essence.
Such a pleasure watching this review, Mr Kotsa. I'm not in a position that would justify purchasing a watch like this (now at least) but I appreciate how the appeal for you is in the care and precision required in it's manufacture. Plus that's a brilliant color!
@peterkosa thank you for the review. how does this watch compare to the Jack masons stratotimer ?
I’m getting the updated Stratotimer in for review shortly, stay tuned 👍
It’s really nice, and no import tax for us Aussies makes the price pretty tempting for a Swiss watch👏👍
It's case design is a blatant Grand Seiko Evolution 9 (White Birch) rip off. Totally unoriginal.
Great looking watch... terrible name.
I like the look of a lot of these microbrand watches, but everyone is using a small (sub 40mm) case that looks absurd on my 8”+ wrist.
