Welcome to The Sanders' Kitchen. We are Mike & Pam Sanders from Slidell Louisiana. We cook lots of different types of foods. My family is from Sicily and Pam is mostly French however you will see us cooking many local Cajun and creole dishes. Some Sicilian recipes were passed down from my great grand parents. But we do explore foods we never grew up with. We hope you enjoy our cooking shows. It's truly a load of fun! Pam and I would love if you would subscribe to our channel. Share our channel with your friends and family and help us grow. If you'd like to send us a recipe Email us at [email protected]
God Bless Each of you!

This was almost like watching a horror movie! 😂 Seriously, that is not the way to make sausage gravy. But, for those of you who have never lived in the south, this probably works best for you. Southern’s not so much.
Hope you enjoy
You should use holyfield sausage medium. Makes enough grease that you dont have to commet sins by adding oil .. also, can pour the flour dead in the meat and cook the flour taste out for a few. Then add your milk. Can tell youre not southern lol. Either middlish America, or one if those lowers that wish they were part of the south over near MS lol
You lost me after middle America. Couldn't understand a word you were saying after that.
@@delliamv1 sleep deprived and a few drunkish replies later will get ya every time sir.
One would do as well to buy canned sausage-gravy as bother with this. I don't have a single tooth in my head, so I work constantly on upgrading the short list of things I can masticate. No, I have not turned that obsession into a YT channel.
Is that fork you used to add the butter for the bechamel sauce the same one you tasted the mushroom and chicken filling? Why do I have a feeling it ia...yikes!😱🤢
itu hanya beras putih biasa yang sering kita tanam, darimana beras liarnya?
The wild rice, called manoomin in the Ojibwe language, is native to the lakes and rivers of the Great Lakes region and Canada. Once as plentiful as grass itself, wild rice-which grows on long, delicate stalks-was easily found along rivers, sloughs, and lakes throughout the North Woods.
Amen
No olive oil. Gross Sage sausage is wrong also. Its fine for stuffing but not sausage gravy. Canola oil is better and should be added to the pan while the sausage was cooking. Its going to need salt. To first time cooks, find a better recipe.
My dad would make this on Sundays three or four times a year. The house would smell so good. While this was cooking, he would make a chocolate cake for dessert. Yummy.
Sounds great! And I love a good chocolate cake. Yum!
So sorry about your dad I lostvminectwo
So sorry my friend.
Added plain oil?? 🤦♀️ Never.
Make it your own!
I've got 4 of these things, took one down to Mexico last year, I've done turkeys, chickens, pork ribs, loins, chicken wings, thighs and legs and numerous other things in it. We use it more than our bbq.
One year I bought one for each of my sons. For Christmas. We should use ours more.
Those look amazing!
They are!
😋 Yummie already chickens love cabbage leaves
So good
I added some crab meat, and sausage was amazing.
Very good!
My zucchini always gets mushy . Maybe I'm not cutting them thick enough .
I also prefer my zucchini and squash a bit crispy. A local restaurant serves a lot of zucchini and squash. It’s always a bit more crisp than soft. That’s how I like it. Crisp!
REALLY surprised that you did not simmer the heads in the sauce so as to PICK UP MORE OF THE 'GRAVY-FLAVOR' !!!???!!!
I did
Try that recipe I get so many apples

Best coconut chicken recipe on YT! I'm not sure why this doesn't have more views and likes
Wow, thank you!
What size of shrimp are recommended? 21/25 or smaller?
We prefer big shrimp for coconut shrimp.
@@TheSandersKitchen I'm going to try 21/25's but not colossal. I think that is too big and the bigger the tougher.
Where is the recipe posted.
In the description under the video. You can’t access the recipe from a tv.
I have cabbage in my fridge that's gonna rot if it stays in there too long. Searched up if deep fried cabbage is a thing, and I guess it is! 😂
Trust me. You’ll love this recipe.
Should have let us know the temperature you set the grill at.
I use 400°F or more anytime I’m doing steak.
How long this talking
Fail. i need the recipe for the loaf.
How much garlic powder instead of clove?I have powder I need to use up before going to the clove
🤷♂️ I really can’t say, It’s not my recipe.
I've been looking for a recipe for baked apple dumplings since Wendy's stopped selling theirs decades ago! These look delicious. I just bought an apple corer and will try these soon. Thanks for this video!
Pro Tip: Cut the core and a bit more. Stuff butter and brown sugar in the center. 👍🏼👨🏼🍳 I love those apples!!
With this process can you still use corn husks instead of papers? I realize it takes away the N'awlin's style but I have husks.... :D
Yep. You sure can.
@@TheSandersKitchen Thank you so much for your reply!

Both ways work.
Meatballs to big

What season?
Great recipe! I am cooking this soup right now! ❤
Hope you enjoy
The fish is poached in the tomato sauce.
Whatever you say.
What is the difference between using the masa versus plain cornmeal?
MASA is a fine ground corn flour vs corn meal that is a course grind.
I never liked the bottle cocktail sauce I love this kind thank you for sharing this it's truly our favorite❤
You are so welcome
Ohhhh looks so delicious
It was!
Love this recipe
Thank you 😊 We’ll be back soon to make more really tasty recipes.
Very well done, thanks!
Glad you liked it! Thank you too!
Pretty close to my recipe and you have got it down. I use water rather than apple juice, you really don't need the apple juice for flavor, save yourself some money. I use a fresh lemon for the lemon juice and also use that amazing lemon zest. Once the apples are ready just leave them in the pan and add your sugar, extra butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and corn starch slurry. This truly is one of the most delicious toppings/fillings. Just amazing.
Thanks for the tips!
Making this tonight
You’re going to love it. 👍🏼
I did!!
I applaud Chef Sanders for taking this classic approach.
Thank you.
Sorry but u dont cook shrimps for 40 minute 😅
You’re right.
