  After having my UE MEGABOOM for years i decided to swap to 2X Minirig 4’s must say…. Sound quality is really good specially having them paired in stereo. Will miss the 360 degrees sound and waterproof with the rugged design on the UE. Im just waiting for a wireless Minirig SUB 4 to be released now for a 2.2 setup 😉.

  Hi, minirig 3 sounds louder especially if set to high gain, if we put both minirig 3 and 4 at 50% volume because the volume levels are managed differently, in practice minirig 4 must be set at 60-70% to play at the same level as the minirig 3 at 50%, however by increasing the volume you will hear the difference in power in favor of the minirig 4, a greeting 👋

  I think the MR3 sounds so much punchier, and well rounded! The MR4 might be a tad clearer, but it's also less engaging. It's missing something. The MR3 wants me to move along, the MR4, hm, I don't know... I find the sound just more pleasant on the 3. But that's just how it feels from this recording, not sure how it is in reality. Would be interesting to hear a comparison with the EQ enabled, and less treble and a bit more lower boost on the MR4

  two splendid speakers but I think the minirig 4 could do even better with an app similar to the one designed for the 3, on some genres I also prefer the old, warmer signature. I might keep in mind the use of the EQ for the next videos, I should have used it in some comparison, the problem is that you cannot establish a level or a percentage when you go to use the EQ on the app, as there are only the 2 bars for bass and treble without any indicative number..

  I have the 3. Very tight comparison. Slight edge to the 4. Both have great clarity and tone. Bass is equal. There is only so much that can be done with a driver that small. Quality sound from that form factor is extremely impressive.

  Hi, Some considerations, for my ears the Go3 has more treble but it sounds more shrill at high volume, the Go 4 is more refined in the high frequencies, and less shrill even if it can become sharp at high listening levels, deeper bass on the go 4 but at high levels it almost seems like the go3 has more punch, the go4 tends to remain cleaner, you can distinguish sounds better. You feel there is more power on the new one especially at normal volumes but it can be louder even at high volumes depending on the eq or with the new PlaytimeBoost function which increases the volume and battery but drastically cuts the bass.   Tribit stormbox micro 2 is the champion (best looking at people or laying flat), while Tronsmart groove 2 comes in close second (best placed at a corner or against a wall because of rear woofer), and Sony xb13 at third (best used very close like on a desk in the office behind your monitor)

  @@jhonnh.7012 Ok amigo, no te puedo decir comparado con los xtreme, no los he comparado, para mí los Minirigs suenan mejor que los Tribit, tienen más graves y son más ruidosos, obviamente un sistema 2.2 o 2.1 para su tamaño son Impresionante, tienen un escenario sonoro grande, sonido claro y equilibrado, no creo que haya altavoces tan compactos con tanta potencia, además se puede conseguir un sonido estéreo más amplio al poder espaciarlos, hay que decir que el Tribit es mucho más sólido en graves profundos, especialmente cuando subes el volumen, pero los Minirigs siguen siendo más incisivos.

  Minirigs all the way. The various MR setups simply sound better. Surprised how poor the JBL sounds...saying that, I tested the 110 in my local electrical store. I couldn't believe how unimpressive it sounded considering how much people go on about the JBL party box range😮🤔 Thanks as always for the great comparison 👍🏽🎶🥳

  Hi, I left my impression directly in the description of the video, however regarding 2 charges against 2 minirigs I don't think the result can change, certainly the minirigs sound better and louder but at high volume you need the Sub, a greeting 👋
