Hi, Some considerations, for my ears the Go3 has more treble but it sounds more shrill at high volume, the Go 4 is more refined in the high frequencies, and less shrill even if it can become sharp at high listening levels, deeper bass on the go 4 but at high levels it almost seems like the go3 has more punch, the go4 tends to remain cleaner, you can distinguish sounds better. You feel there is more power on the new one especially at normal volumes but it can be louder even at high volumes depending on the eq or with the new PlaytimeBoost function which increases the volume and battery but drastically cuts the bass.
