I'm a fishing freak & outdoorsman with a camera providing tips, how to, instruction, and documenting nature's awesomeness from woods and water around the world. I love to go bass fishing in ponds, lakes, and creeks, but I also love to travel to new places and explore new fishing and hunting grounds while bushcraft camping anywhere.

I’ve got a few stories like this. They are great. My father has been gone for 10 years now & im glad I have these memories. You’re raising them right & it only makes them tougher !

I laughed harder than I probably should have 😆😂🤣. Ben handled that "nudge" 😜 like a champ! Nudge is the nice way of saying shoulder blocked in 😂. Everyone is safe, so I'd say it was a good day on the water.

We’ve all been there as a parent you want them to catch one and fall in love with the sport and get caught up in the moment! But definitely will be a memory that lasts forever. I remember almost loosing my grandpas pole and I jumped in after that dude 😂😂

Your daughter is hilarious! Lol, my oldest does the same thing and will give me lectures when I make mistakes as well. 😅 Kids are the best, and you guys are awesome parents, man. I'm glad you found some calm waters, so your boys' first experience wasn't just the scary part! That was 100% a pro parenting move by both of you! I'm glad everyone is safe, and we get to continue to enjoy more of the wholesome content!

I am glad that you found the doe bro but I strongly hope that you get some more practice in before taking another traditional hunt. I am a traditional archer and I am hyped your interested in the lost art but you should be more consistent and not switching your shooting form in the middle of a hunt and you should be practicing enough to know your form. For instinctive shooting you should be slinging around 300 arrows a week. Also tuning your arrows to your trad bow will help you increase pass throughs! I am looking forward to seeing another video next fall with more consistency and better performance! You got this.

When carp roll on the surface they are generally spawning. The won't usually bite when spawning. However, that's the best time to bow fish.

It can be scary, I remember when I was 6 or 7 I was standing on the platform of my grandfathers cabin cruiser and fell in, this was salt water, my grandfather was a professional swimmer and had to dive in to save me from under the boat. My life flashed before my eyes that day for the first time.

I was surprised to see you turn back that carp. We kill them on the bank here and use their stinky oily meat for catfish bait. Today our only carp was a 9 lb 9 oz one which we consider relatively small. You are right though, they're incredibly smart, have very very sensitive noses, and put up a really great long fight. One of my favorite fish to catch by far.
