    LFG: Thanks for your help in avoiding boat/trailer problems for your subs. Please share this story as you see fit. I’ve owned my boat, motor and trailer for 22 years. I’m extremely cautious about safety. I hate the idea of hurting someone or having highway trouble pulling my boat. Every Spring I go over everything to avoid problems. At least I thought I did. This Spring I’m about to load my boat at the ramp. I look down (Thank God) and see I’m missing a nut on my u bolt leaf spring assembly. On closer inspection I see the same thing is happening on the other side of the trailer. Big problem. No u bolts, no suspension, major accident at maybe 70 MPH. Fortunately it’s an easy fix. Stainless steel lock washers, stainless steel nuts and Locktight 290. Please tell everyone to check their trailer suspension when they launch their boats. Takes just a minute, but could save someone’s life. Stay safe, God Bless.

I had two garmin ultra2 units with live scope and spot lock installed. Iam ashamed that to say, I havent had it on the water yet. Working all the time. The boat is MINT!

    important thing is to measure the weight u put on the trailerball.. it should be like 150lbs.. (u can look it up).. if its too light ur boat is too far back can be unsafe driving.. if its too much aswell.

    Dad always has two clips on his boat. One like yours and another safety one in case that one breaks. You could tie another rope to the trailer and have it clipped to the trailer as well for a safety if that makes sense.

    Nothing I love more than throwing a spoon at schooling hybrids. I dialed them in last year with my hummingbird piranha and my flat bottom. You may already know but there is a small lake not far east from you that turns into absolutely crazy hybrid clinic in July. And they don’t get pressured much either.

    You don’t have to put the black box in your hard tackle compartment. I have a Vexus AVX and I put mine right under the bow unit in the very front of the boat. It’s very secure and a great way to save some storage

  • @ozarkfisher
    @ozarkfisherАй бұрын

    My Vexus dealer mounted my black box underneath the front of the boat by the front graph. You can call VC Marine and ask them about it. Also, you will definitely want a safety strap added in-case the winch fails. Watch Mark Blackstock's video about his Nitro falling off the trailer because he didn't have a safety strap. My Vexus dealer said out of the 140 Vexus AVX boats he has sold, only one has been sent back to the factory for a weld/crack issue and that hull was replaced.

    Hey Justin I hate to tell you but you better definitely keep your chickens locked up with those owls growing up and getting bigger!!! Owls will definitely kill chickens for sure!!! We kept losing a chicken every other day and I couldn’t figure out what was getting are chickens until I set up a trail camera and caught an owl landing on are great big dog runs that we had are chickens in at the top and then after he landed on the fence panels he would wait until they all settled back down and then he would attack them!!! And of course there was absolutely nothing I could do because owls are a protected animal and you can’t go killing owls!! Just a heads up so if you end up losing a chicken and can’t figure out what might have gotten one or more definitely look no further!!!

    So a couple things first the fact that you pay as much as you do for a boat like that and the anchor hook that you hook/Tie your boat to like that snapped so easy even though it was under more pressure is crap in my opinion. that piece should be one of the strongest points on that boat. Second thing the fact that the boat and trailer are not set up and a lined properly from the factory so that when you are loading it up it is not sitting right so something like this does not happen. And that it is up to you to figure that out is BS as well as this is something that should be done either from the factory or from the dealer to make sure the boat is sitting properly on the trailer right from the start. those adjustment you had to make on the trail for your boat to sit right is something they should have done for you before ever picked it up especially for how much a new boat cost these days, But hey that is just my opinion which does not count for a dang thing. Now on to your owls vs your chickens. owls love to eat chickens and they can even open the dang door to the chicken coup. I have a video that my friend sent me after I gave him a trail cam as he was trying to figure out what was getting into his chicken coup and eating the heads off his chicken. turns out it was a big owl that literally was flying down and opening his chicken coup door to get to his chickens. So if you are finding chicken with just there heads gone that is a sure sign that the owls are eating your chickens.
