Growing up in the west, we call those "Tin Boats". I'm so happy you are harnessing the Tin Boat energy. That's how I grew up, and we did numbers on every nearby lake. 15hp Evinrude was all we needed. Limited every time!

I couldn't agree more LFG! That jr crack n craw i used on a football jig on the beds, and those little pinchers stick up and twitch! Pulled an 8lbs bass out with that technique!

small boats have their place... friends were trying to cast up into a shallow water bay from their 20 foot deep V walleye boats, northern pike were up in there big time. I went zipping by them up on plane right into the middle of the bay, dropped my trolling motor and proceeded to have a blast working the weed edges the pike were hanging in. I was in my little Alumacraft T14... 13.5' long, 42 inches wide overgrown canoe that weighed 110 pounds empty. On plane I only needed 12" of water... so I could zip over the bar across the bay entrance. They tried coming in on trolling motor but they needed 16" of water so no go. I relented and picked them up for 2 hours each to have a blast.

This is the content I like....bass fishing and technique.... Would love to see how you identify fish on the scope...lots of us got it for Christmas...now we have to learn how to use it...

LFG man I wish like crazy I could get you to come up to Norris Lake in TN to make a video on how dead the lake is. The reason I say this is maybe the biologists would listen to someone other than us locals telling them the lake is almost dead for Bass and Crappie.

We have some lakes here in NC that are like that. The WRC has been on a grass killing rampage and the lakes have really gone down in fishing quality. Of course the “experts” won’t say that they may have done something that actually hurt the lakes. According to them, everything is just fine.

He gets them on a year long lease deal(advertising thing... business deal), after the year they go back to Fun N Sun... normally he gets a new one by now but I think he wants one to keep this time around... built the way he wants it... if it was me I would look at the aluminum bass boats, if you need to beach it no big deal, bounce off a rock or stump no hull damage(or at worst a dent)... go a little smaller for tighter water fishing.. maybe a 19'... and they are lighter to tow!
