  get a good gaming laptop on sale. bestbuy has been running really good deals on the last gen asus g14 with a 4060. about 200$ more but so much better then these handhelds. ive owned all of them as well as the g14. i returned the handhelds and stayed with the g14. its a great machine

  Man thay happened to me, i haven't touched my switch for god knows how long and i tried turning it on, and charge it, and the dam thing didn't charged no more. It's so upseting because last time i played for a while, i had to replace the joysticks. It seems every time i want to play, i have to fix something, thats why i got a steam deck now, screw them, im emulating their stuff

  I have the famicom one. I swapped out the switches for some silenced tactiles, and wrote a Linux utility for it because they're utility for it is windows (mac?) only and kinda sucks.

  These particular units, these blue ones that say MODE on the back, are all bad prototype units, and are not representative of what we actually got for real hardware, a lot more stable, a lot better front-end, decent emulation performance. It's terribly unfortunate that so many reviews got tainted by that problem.

  So everyone that covers a song, pirate, especially on youtube or in concert for money! Pirate. Anyone that has ever recorded a song off the radio or a movie off air broadcast public TV, Pirate! Nah. The game industry can suck it, cinema and television too. Everyone trade copywrites and company names etc so much that without us emulators, no one could ever play Little Samson or Shantae.

  Hi. Did you have any trouble connecting the SD card into the Pocket? I just got my Pocket and it's taken numerous tries to get the card to connect inside. I'm just wondering if mine is faulty.

  The Legion Go has an optical sensor on one controller that can dock in a magnetic cradle so it can be used as a mouse. I wonder if that would have made for a better mobile experience than fiddling around with a small touchscreen or the tiny trackpad.

  I agree that the problem with this mod is the cost. I plan on building 3 gb macros all in different styles. I bought the boxy pixel, 3d printed translucent one, and I'm going to make one with the dowel rod. I already own a gba with an ips screen. I am more or less doing it for fun and science. What attracted me to your video is the coverage of using an ez flash omega vs an r4 cart. I have a dsi and gba emulation on the console is horrible. Literally most of the games don't even run.

  I am using my Steam deck as my daily driver. I have a tower-PC, but i did not turn it on for nearly two years now. I also have the feeling, that you are making a wrong comparison. If i wanted a permanent docked device, with a DGPU and two or three monitors stitched to it and edit Sounds and Video and whatsoever and do 10 things all at once, i would use my freaking PC. This is absolut not the demographic for that. Yes, you could also spent 500 Dollar more for a better Gaming laptop, but really, you are comparing a Handheld to a Laptop? Are you Holding your Laptop between two hands close to your eyes? How does this work? A handheld is totally different than a Laptop. I also would not compare a Switch to a Gamecube? If you are a casual gamer who is gaming one or two hours a day and otherwise watch a lot of youtube and going trough ebay and Amazon, maybe read the news, you dont need a powerful Laptop for that. A steam deck is all that you need. But..... i would be also happy when first devices arrive with Strix point. I think the steam deck has overall an power issue, and there is just so much you can do with Software optimization. A IGPU that is a little bit more Powerful on a Steam-Deck 2 is more than welcome. But for my usual needs, Steam deck is still rocking it.

  I've had all the different xbox controllers throughout the years. They all wear out/break one way or another and usually rather quickly. I thought spending the money on a creme of the crop Elite Controller will save me some cash just by lasting longer, but no -- it's actually the worst built controller I've ever owned. The plastic is coming apart and a couple of the buttons no longer function. In short, buy the cheapest Xbox controllers, because even the expensive ones are just as shitty in terms of build quality, if not more. This way you're spending less.

  what i do on steam deck for my game downloads. go into power options, disable sleep mode while on power, 5 minutes inactive while on battery, disable dim while on power, 1 minute on battery. Dock it, plug stock power supply into pd port of dock, connect external screen, start downloads, turn off power to external screen. Never have any issue's. Or use desktop mode to download.
