Sir. What is the reason for prices to be presented in usd?
I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note as Certified Pre Owned in 2017 with a generous warranty (which I never had to rely on) and paid cash. 60,000 miles later now at almost 90,000 miles I have no regrets. I'll be driving it until the wheels fall off.
u said it takes 2-3 years to pay for hybrid premium. but hybrid rav4 is about 2900 dollar more exnepensive...so ur math does not work.. it take 4-5 years to pay off that premium. plus generally dealer doesnt give u discount on hybrid. that means u need to drive 6-7 years to pay off that premium lol. it's a joke.
I got my car from a private owner. I’ve owned the car for 3 years now and still own it and still love it.
So battery replacement after 10 years is not considered as maintenance costs?
I have a 2014 VW Passat. You are right about electrical issues. Air bag censors are a pain to malfunction and then have to be replaced. As far as I’m concerned, any VW is off my list permanently!!
Why not work on your delivery a little bit and do Norm McDonald impersonations?
Just bought the hybrid sport in silver. Love the ride and its super sexy. Quiet, comfortable, and efficient. The amenities inlcuding blind spot awareness and the backupcam work great. I also love how spacious the back is and the cargo room is. I average 42.5 mpg...I live in the sunshine state and commute about 1.5 hours a day with lots of stops and starts. If you are looking for a safe and smooth driving experience in the "affordable" SUV market look no further.
No you can not luxus waiting time 1 year
I took possession of my new 2024 Subaru Forester on Feb 29th. It is a gas model. Did I like the Hybrids I test drove? Absolutely! They had great power in stop and go driving and they have great fuel economy. But the Hybrids are all top level trims and fully kitted out. I just could not justify that huge price difference. And I am getting ready to retire so stop and go driving is no longer a big issue for me. I shopped around for the best ICE compact SUV that fit my needs and it was over $10K less than a hybrid, plus the colour I wanted was available for delivery in just a few weeks. I was lucky enough to have cash from the sale of my house so as to not need to worry about the high interest rates. I avoided the dealers that heavily marked up their costs above MSRP during Covid, or the ones that bought vehicles and put some km on them just so they could turn around and sell a used vehicle at above MSRP to get around the rules. Those dealers have no ethics and would never get my business.
You know by watching multiple videos from this channel, I feel this channel is extremely biased and is possibly sponsored by some companies. I only see the content from this channel a joke and a hilarious entertainment.
It’s nice. No spare tire is a deal breaker though.
It’s not straight to the point if it’s 12minutes and some change
speaking of horse power honestly the mazda 3 has more horsepower then my 2019 vw jetta with its factory turbo im sitting at about 140 horse power. which is why over the next few years im gonna pay of my jetta well at the same time saveing money to buy a mazda 3 because 1 i dont need the current modle 2 after these next 4-5 years the 2024 mazda 3 will be more afordable by then and from what i seen as mentioned in the video its already pretty afordable which i love
Infotainment is horrible.
Just got 10% off a 2024 Honda Civic Sport Touring May 10th. Many dealerships said no, some went up to 5%, found 1 that gave in.
the only reason why i'm considering an elantra hybrid is because corolla hybrid has a 2-3 year wait lol
You didn’t talk about gas mileage. I am leaning towards the Camry if the mileage is significantly better. Toyotas tend to get the mileage. They advertise and Hondas tend to not get theirs.
Just bought a new '24 SR5 4x4. Wanted it as simple as possible with as little chance of things to break. I enjoy the little nuances and reliability that an old platform provides. I live down a long caliche/rock road and have already taken it stock on a couple of easy trails to camp in Texas. Very happy with my choice. I hope to drive it for 20+ years and get 300k plus. When I heard the '25s were changing to a new turbo 4cyl, that clinched the deal. I had a 1st gen ford ecoboost and just gave the vehicle away at 220k miles as it needed a 2nd engine replacement!
Rav 4 has 0.75 skidpad - that's unacceptable imo. Also the Outlander PHEV has been around since 2013 globally.
Well done video. Informative and no discernible b.s. I am considering buying one.
great video
My friend was a dealer Nissan mechanic all he did was replace their junk cv transmissions.
I would never own a full electric car, but a hybrid yes.
I have a FE Landcruiser on the way, but have decided to go 2024 TRD Pro Runner. Sold my 2023 in anticipation of the LC...but made the decision today to buy the Runner (same color, same options...but last year)
Very informative video. Thank you very much!
Did you read about the guy from Florida whose new cybertruck developed a massive coolant leak? He had just taken ownership of it, drove it 35 miles to a charging station and it puked coolant all over the ground. He had to fight with the service centre to get a tow truck and the service department said the warranty doesn’t cover leaks. Tesla only fixed his paperweight after it went viral and they looked like morons and idiots. Don’t forget about Tesla blaming customers for their own shoddy defective parts failing in their cars. Tesla is the new Chrysler. Always looking for loopholes.
The Niro is not a crossover... it is a wagon. It is in the same category as a impreza, mini clubman
It seems that overall vehicle quality peaked in the 2000s into the lower 2010's and now very few manufacturers can product a quality that is worth the 30K price of new vehicle. People used to buy entire homes for that amount, homes that last 30 years before major repair. I really tried to be a fan of Stellantis as I was a longtime lover of Jeep Grand Cherokees but now , LOL, they are the WORST OF THE WORST.
You must be advertise for Tesla. After, 10 years Tesla repair will $25,000 for replacement new battery and labor.
Good old steering wheel club.
If you just want a car that brings you from A to B as a commuter w/reliability, don't bother or even consider any Euro vehicle and just go Japanese. If you want plain luxury creature comforts w/o reliability, go North American brand. If you want some (or full on) luxury w/performance (especially tunability), then you choose a Euro vehicles - you must pay to play and not complain. If you want to not visit a gas pump (w/o fully knowing how much more pollution it costs to manufacture them, not knowing what you are getting into, not care how much more harm to the environment to create an EV, be financially raped in all aspects and be scammed), choose an EV. Accumulate over 10-15 years of ICE vehicle maintenance cost that you incrementally spend on vs a ONE TIME $40K-the sky is the limit to replace a battery pack - remember... warranty only covers the cost if it is due to manufacturers defect (not stupidity). and rising cost of insurance due to increasing claims . Porsche is the brand you go to hide your "hush-hush" money when it comes to acquiring them new or if you are one of the top 1% of society.Remember what he said; no car is perfect - keep that in mind. So choose wisely what brand of vehicle you get into and if it breaks down, don't complain - fix it if you can or pay the price for a professional to do it
2007 Camry with 240k kilometres on it and still going strong 💪 THAT is reliability. Thanks for reading.
How is a trail blazer
I fell asleep on 2nd minute
Lol, this guy needs a real job
What about Mazda?Cx5
All Mazdas have excellent reliability based on my experience and reviews
My takeaway from your excellent comprehensive report is: Just because you spent a ton of money for a perceived "great" car, that money does not buy you "peace of mind" for the long haul. Thanks.
Makes me happy as our household owns a Toyota and Tesla 😀 woohoo low cost of ownership!
I LIKE THE V6😢😂❤
These should only be leased if you have money, all junk after 3 years.
Is this guy AI?
WOW 😳 Most of them are European cars!!! Regarding Mercedes, a Master Tech at a major MB dealership said: " Too much engineering, too much money, too many failures...."😢 Thanks for a good video👍
The new 4Runner looks great but my 2012 5th gen 4Runner approaching 200k miles is running perfectly so I’m sticking with the 5th gen for now.
That's another win for the Camry!! awesome!! Very good detailed review on both cars. The Camry is much better value in Canada also then the Accord. You get so many convenient features on the mid trims that are not on the Accord. On a personal note, I much prefer the styling of the Camry over the boring , no imagination looking Accord.
Anyone who buys an EV is misguided - which is what you're trying to do - mislead the public - it is both immoral and dishonest.
I’ve had only Toyota and Honda. Never had to buy anything but gas an oil. Almost 1 million miles. ✅ Excellent advice Shari. Thoughts and actions in action. ✅
Getting a small car. Get a small car ( made in Japan, not U.S. ) with small engine ( non turbo ) and manuel transmission. You will probably be ok. I worked at a Nissan ( Datsun ) dealership. We never had problems till CVT came out. . Nissan engineering problems is sad
My toyota matrix 2.4 2009 costs me around 3000 $ including tires and brakes for 15 years
If you are owning a luxury car for more than 5 years you can't afford that luxury car
Except Lexus, with a TCO Total (Cost of Ownership) THREE times cheaper than the TCO for the German luxury clunkers.
