A fantastic truck that has gone waaay offroad on price. I definitely can no longer afford one and I'm willing to bet many consumers have been left in the dust also.

The turbo is what is backing me out. The hybrid I’ll take but it has turbos in the engine. I am satisfied with my Nissan Pro 4x which it has a NA V6 engine.

A friend of mine has the 2022 Tacoma TRD and he loves that thing. He just test-drove the new Taco and he didn't like it.

4/24/24 - I agree Toyota does it right with their vehicles However, I find any combo or straight up hybrid suspect I am still a aspirated 4 / 6 / 8 Before I buy a hybrid or EV I will diligently search for aspirated used Toyota

Nice but Expensive ...Think the hybrid in this is for added power rather than fuel efficiency minus the V6 now. This is a consideration for me since I did have difficulty in the older platform's seating. Not comfortable at all. My pick would be the SR5.

This is truck is now officially the rich boy's toy.

With all this new technology and new engines I wouldn't touch these trucks for a few years.

Older Toyotas would be a safer bet for a lower (than market) price because of a confirmed (not predicted bs) reliability and low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). For the time being, until their reliability gets confirmed by reality, not only by the past of similarly equipped Toyotas/Lexuses.

TRD Off Road premium turbo 4 would be my choice

How much will the Pro Tacomas and 4 Runners be in Canada for 2025? Keep up the grest work.

Any current pickup is a poor choice if your priorities are low running costs and reliability. Most people would be better off with a 4Runner or a Highlander.

If not save gas, means not cut CO2, why hybrid?

Newer Tacoma 25 is reliable. Is totally reliable are less quality control and less reliable and crappy plastic interior as they age, and the best reliability the resale value will extremely low. And the best reliable they have turbo issues, engine problems, overheating engine, and the best reliability the worst gas mileage even with that hybrid I force max. If you want a Bulletproof one. Get the used one with 4.0 V6. The 2.7 four cylinder is crap with head gaskets issues

The new Tacoma's spec looks on paper. We have to wait for a few years to see how reliable it is. Too many technologies = too many issues. Time would tell! It is built in Mexico, and it's more expensive than the older model.
