What program are you using to display the images and zoom?
Hi there! just a normal Windows 11 image viewing software which comes with Windows on default 👍 haven't installed any third party apps for images.

ah okay, no i think Upscayl is just meant for upscaling images. You can remove backgrounds with a tool like this for example: www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/remove-background ☺️

Lifesaver, this is really stupid as I use ctrl shift H ALL THE TIME, but for some reason in later versions they uncoupled its connection to the mask layer visibility button, typical Adobe nonsense

Holy crap! I've literally had this problem for years. I used to just open a new project file and start the tracker from scratch, then add the new project to the existing project where the problem was. And yet, the problem was this simple. I'm literally laughing at myself. I thought it was a bug. I don't know how many times I've had to click on the "show layer controls" in other circumstances. Thanks for uploading this!!
