Subscribed and liked! I was used to Fraps but I'm loving having discovered OBS Studio. Perfect quick-start guide for recording. You should do a video called how to make a game in Unity... in 5 minutes! I'm gonna go binge your vids....Edit, I went to the Hotkeys under Settings and switched the record button to F9 if anyone is used to Fraps like me.

This was exactly what I needed! Thank You!!

Im trying to record my internal audio and my mic at the same time, but it is throwing all the internal audio and mic into a single channel. Please help! Idk why it isn't separating my tracks.

I've tried the following and it worked for me. I disconnected my external sound card(Audient id22) by changing the pc main sound source to my pc speakers in the sound settings. Then I plugged in my pc speakers. I then opened OBS and left my sound settings to default in OBS. When I opened OBS it already had 'display capture' loaded in the source display otherwise you need to load 'display capture' by pressing on the plus sign in the source menu. Then I only pressed record and then it recorded whatever I done on the screen including the display sound. I still need to configure how to set my external sound card settings. Hope this helps.

Unlimited, but limited to the amount of memory you have on your hard disk.

In my case this background is not coming means desktop is not visible.

I think he meant mp4. If you look at the video when he says mp3, the mouse is actually circling mp4. When I was watching that part, I was like, “What the hell is he talking about? That says mp4 not mp3!”

You never opened the record to check if it works why do this and not show how to play recording

The mixer isnt showing up. OBS sucks.
