Adobe Premiere EXPORT FAILED / Error compiling movie [How to FIX]
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS TUTORIAL
You try to export video from Premiere Pro CC and the exporting fails for reasons: the error message usually is like "Error compiling movie", "unknown error" or "unable to produce frame" or something. Premiere hopefully gives you SOME information about the problem - like the timecode (where the error happened), but if it DOESN'T give anything it's bad. So - then you are in a situation that you just need to fix this error by trial and error. Ugh.
In this video I'm gonna show all my tips on this issue. This time I got the "unable to produce frame" error AND the timecode - like where the error happened.
Here's ALL my TIPS on this issue:
1. OBVIOUS TIP: Restart Premiere Pro or computer and try again
2. OBVIOUS TIP: Try exporting with Adobe Media Encoder
3. Research your EFFECTS (some effect may cause the error, like Lumetri)
4. Change the VIDEO RENDERER to mercury playback software only (from project settings)
5. Try exporting your project with DIFFERENT COMPUTER

I solved this problem rather unconventionally, after trying all your solutions on my 1 hour 36 minutes long video, I came up with a cunning plan. I exported it as 15 minutes long individual videos (by looking at the exact point in time). So I basically had 6 parts of perfectly exported videos. I opened a new project, put them all together perfectly, and exported again, it worked like a breeze! ❤️

I'm going to try this. I've been struggling to export a 14 minute long video for a month now and I have litrally red-done the entire video over and are still getting export errors. I have no idea what to do and am thinking of abondoning all the footage and moving on. I have a really good PC and I am still getting these errors. Today I came to the conclusion that some of my footage was shot in HDR and some wasn't. Also... the footage is in 4k 60fps which makes it even harder. So .. tomorrow I think I am just going to try exporting each chapter (around 2 minutes long each) seprately like you said here. Ill do the colour grading last over 1 adjustment layer maybe.. But honestly ... I'm starting to think that Premier Pro is up to shit.

A nice errorless export might be to export uncompressed with CUDA the parts that are working fine and with Mercury the parts that have errors, then re import and stitch the parts together. it should be a faster solution than overnight.

Yep not working. I tried to remove lumetri didn't work. Then I tried to remove the other effects, still didn't work, then I checked to see if my software was updated and it was. Then I tried to restart program and computer, didn't work. Then I changed it to mercury software only and that didn't work. Then I deleted the render files and that didn't work. Then I checked to see if I had enough space and I do. So wtf am I suppose to do?
