Kaladin will replace the stormfather and start the journey of collecting the essence that is honor. It was Syl's chosen task, the stormfather spren was always a placeholder. Todium will destroy the stormfather spren right before the duel crippling Dalinar. That energy/essence source then flows to Kaladin. The story of fleet along with plenty of other nuggets point in this direction. Hoid "The body died but not the will, within the wind his sould did rise, to win the race and claim the dawn, forever strong forever fast forever free to raced the wind. ( I think the claim the dawn is he will protect Rysn and the dawnshard). Kaladin gets depressed during the weeping because he is already connected to the storm. During the fight the the defeted one he yells " I am eternal, I am the storm. Moash states that is how you break a storm to the defeated one. They came from the pit, two dead men, a heart in their hand and I know that I have seen true glory. Kaladin in Szeth after killing the heart of the revel and cleansing Shinovar. He must pick it up the fallen title, the tower, the crown and the spear refers to Kaladin, the title is Honor, the tower was his whole storyling in ROW, the crown as the new king of the heralds and radiants and the spear. The flute is vital as is Renaran to protect Kaladin from Odium so that his future can not be seen. The old Giffer tells Moash "boy that makes about as much sense as the stormfather playing the flute". The whole point of the Wandersail story was to teach Kal about the Origin, responsibility and how devoted followers can be. Lastly a lot of people ardents included have started seeing Kaladin as divine and will pray to him for protection especially when he becomes the stormfather and sees his roll as protecting and helping people during the storm. They will revere him.

Good points about losing perfect pitch. If your theory is right, then that could be a tell that Hoid deliberately set up in advance. Have just enough breath to have perfect pitch, go to meeting, whistle afterwards and if he lost perfect pitch he knows Odium took some breath and therefore memories. This doesn’t necessarily mean Hoid knows what memories were taken. He could still not know about Taravangian and expected Odium to delete a memory for another reason. But then maybe he did know. He could also have hidden a backup of his memories in extra breath somewhere else just in case. That wouldn’t let him know what was missing from the conversation but it would let him check whether Odium deleted some other memory from the past.

Renarin must have sworn his ideal when dalinar and adolin were about to die. I reread the chapter, Renarin didn't seem suspicious, but basically Navani goes out and Renarin comes and they hear dalinar and adolina re dead, and then renarin sits down and has his fit, and then Navani ignores him and draws her glyph, and after she finishes renarin comes to her and thanks her, and he seems to be doing better than he was before. I can see in the future renarin ahving aflashback to this moment where he comes to some realization and some truth and swears his ideal, and he is stronger than he was before and we didn't see this cause we were in navani's head. Then after dalinar comes back and renarin is happy and is smiling and dalinar comments that he's never seen renarin actually grin like this before. Perhaps he's super happy, not just cause his father and brother are alive, but because he knows he just did something amazing and is a radiant? Cause the writing begins a week after Kal starts his duty, so it Renarin must have sworn his ideal then, and this is the best place for it to happen. I imagine that shortly after renarin swore his ideal, he got a vision about the battle at the end of wor, and he wanted to warn dalinar, but couldn't cause then he'd have to admit he saw visins of the future, and then they would think him evil and not trust him or soemthing, so instead he wrote the words on his father's wall in a perpousully cryptic way. This explination makes sense to me. I can't wait for renarin flashbacks, I feel like there was so much going on with him in wor that we just don't know about and we'll get to see it in book 7 and our minds will be blown that renarin was doing all this cool stuff right under our noses. Also, maybe another reason renarin decided to join bridge four is cause he had a vision about them? I think it's possible, it was slightly out of character for him to decide to join them. It took a lot of guts on his part, and him being motivated by a vision would make sense.

Ok, I'm now convinced the fifth oath is "you can't kill to protect." It just ties too neatly with Kaladin's upbringing with Lirin, and I'm just thinking back to early wor when Kal was talking with syl about how he doesn't know who's side he should be on, he killed all those parshendi and that seems wrong. Why should he protect some over others? And all the oaths seem to be going this direction. I will protect, obviously. I will protect those I hate, so long as it is right. Ok, so protect everyone, great, no discriminating. I accept there are those I can't protect, this ideal must have a purpose. Why is the fourth ideal to accept failiar? ik it's not failiar, but like doesn't it make more sense for it to be something more like "I will do whatever it is to protetctc, even to sacrifice myself"? Unless this is leading up to the fifth oath, ultimately windrunners do not kill anyone, because that comepletely goes against protecting. And that is why basically no one get's to it, because windrunners are soldiers, and swearing not to kill is giving up so much. You gain power only for you not to be able to use it in a sense because you can't hurt others. (I think fused would be an exception since they don't really die.) Lirin really did teach kal all the oaths, and from the start his biggest ideal was not to kill. "We save lives, we don't take lives." It's too perfect, the final oath is definetly not to kill. I'm sold.

Random thought about Kandra on Roshar-my vote goes to Mraize. He’s directly affiliated and in a position of power with Thaidakar, whom (name spoiler free) is directly connected to Scadrial and has been known to befriend and use kandra in the past.

Hoid tricked Odium, sleight of hand! He is can do Feruchemy and stored his specific memories in the coin he DROPPED. its why he picks it up and says things happened just as he predicted.

I read the books first then listened to audio, I loved how Pattern sounded in my head, BUT it has now been replaced with the terrible audiobook version 😂 Luckily, I still hear Nightblood and Syl how I imagined during my first read (when re-reading now) 😊

Hoid's main aim on Roshar was spelled out just last episode in his letter to Frost. But I guess he will find more reasons to interfere that goal has been completed in RoW. Starting to think that the Cosmere will end with Hoid floating through space, sitting on the last rock in existence and playing his flute.

26:45 Crem is actually kinda sus, it is apparently influenced by Cultivation (who is always sus) but only arrives with the Highstorms. lt gives the rainwater a metallic taste, and drinking this water can potentially make you sick. We know investiture can turn into metal and vice versa (like Sharblades and such), so what if crem has cultivation's metallic investiture in it (kinda like lerasium and atium). So what if you drink the water and burn the metal, may be it can give you some powers and perhaps it is related to the old magic/cultivation's magic system. Also, my guess is that she is hijacking the highstorms to dump a bunch of her investiture on the planet constantly and influence it in the most literal sense. Similarly, she has influence over the Purelake, she influences things like Rhyshadium and the creatures with gemhearts and things like that.

kaladin saving everyone is too easy. Dalinar dying is too easy. I think Moash will redeam himself. I think Dalinar and Taravangian will embrace as gods (read their last conversation together) and Taravangian will give odiums power to Dalinar (while dalinar has Honors power). I wont be shocked if it does not happen, but give Brandon a break, its not going to be obvious what happens and srsly killing Dalinar before the next 5 books is silly. Why stop the journey this early

I'm towards the beginning of the video right now, so maybe this gets brought up later, but I feel compelled to bring this up: There is no "Cremling" hivemind. Cremlings are just cremlings. The Sleepless are a hivemind, and they disguise their hordelings to /look/ like cremlings while on Roshar so they can blend in with pre-existing fauna. So /sometimes/ when you see a cremling it's actually a Sleepless hordling in disguise. But most of the time a cremling is a cremling, just a run of the mill crab-bug.

My prognositaction: - Shallan will be the one that MAY redeem the cremlings. Shallan's story has been about redeeming family, people she meets on her travels, and she married a man that is redeeming the deadeyes. - Szeth will be the one that will destroy the cremlings. Szeth's destruction from different perspectives is what opens the Way of Kings. Szeth is all about destruction and glory to rocks.

Theory 1: Cremlings are not native to Roshar at all; all cremlings there are part of one of the sleepless. Theory 2: At least one of the 16 who shattered Adolnolsium was a sleepless. Is there a shard of Unity?
