Crazy theory here jimmy is actually Wayne we see Wayne do unique accents all the time and he is constantly saying strange stuff I think the connection is obvious jimmy is a double agent for the ghost bloods who intends on infiltrating the hive mind

Based on what Nale and the skybreakers have been doing, I’m assuming there have been many budding radiants over the last 5 years and more. But I think Kaladin was the first Windrunner because the honorspren were especially against repeating the genocide that was the recreance. And bonding “the ancient daughter” nonetheless. (Ancient daughter, son of tanavast; coincidence?)

Yeah there have been others that have been killed off by Nale. Jasnah and Shallan are probably the first of the ones we have seen and are familiar with but there are likely even older ones around if they have managed to stay hidden from Nale.

Finally all caught up on the podcast back catalogue on spotify after *checks notes* about a week of listening. Am really enjoying your insights. I like hearing the thoughts of people who are as hooked on this series as I find myself, but who don't leave me utterly perplexed with the quantum/string theory/ planck black hole level detail that some of the other creators casually spit out on other channels. Like listening to a masters thesis in the works rather than a fully completed phd dissertation. The death rattle analysis in these recent eps has been great.

Ok so some movie references that I think Sanderson might have used… The “Give me your pain” reminds me of Star Trek V. When Spock’s brother uses taking away of pain to basically brainwash people to following him and obeying him. Also the full size Syl is so reminiscent of Hook, when Tinkerbell becomes full sized right before Peter remembers who he is and how to fly again.

All that awesomeness and incredibly noble sacrifice to save the worst war-criminal in the history or Roshar. What a waste. :)

53:23 Love the podcast guys! Quick point/ question. Aren't the Harolds classified as spren hybrids now? I thought that was surmised in the Honor Spren city... might make the Kalidan -> Stormfather thing possible but I still am on team Son of Honor -> Honor train. Having poor Kal watching people dying in the storm and be helpless would be really hard to see!

A couple of my favorite moments in all of Stormlight in this chapter.

53:10 the spren were originally created by adonalsium. Post shattering they were altered by honour and cultivation. Of course being cognitive entities they were also affected by the thoughts and perceptions of the singers and humans

Aside from Sanderson mentioning dates in questions, which has had to be reconned for timing B4. The only mention of time is the header '6years ago' both used the night of the assasination AND shallans first chapter flashback

Fun theory! I personally think that Adolin will be Odium's champion. He was born on the sign of 9. Also when Dalinar saw a vision of someone bending a knee to 9 shadows he said he looked oddly familiar.. plus we already know Adolin is not a better man than his father.
