  Thanks for this! much more involved than I anticipated. FYI eBay automotive has new OEM cameras for around $50.00 USD in the past I got some used parts they seemed OK except the cost of shipping. I ordered my camera from Amazon Canada the camera was $135 CDN or about $100 USD with free next day shipping. my 2009 has an electronic automotive rust protection system, seems to work on the body panels etc. I'm in Ontario we use too much salt in the winter. this is the 2nd camera replacement at 164,000 km or a little over 100,000 miles

  I really enjoy your videos. I just want to add that I had a 2010 4.6 and I bought it new and I put 156,000 miles on it. The CD player stopped loading discs and the back up camera occasionally was black screen but that was rare. That was the only issues in 156,000 miles. Best car I ever owned.

  Amazing review! I have a 2013 5.0 RSPEC with 85k miles and also minimal issues. I do need new shocks and struts in front with tires not wearing even but holding on purchase. Big issue though is check engine light keeps coming on due to what code says small exhaust leak. Replaced gas cap but can’t figure it out. Any ideas? Anyone else have that issue?

  My 2013 genesis sedan 5.0 rspec is @136k miles right now. Florida kept, and my 0-60 is 6.5 right now. No warning lights, car drives normal but no matter how I launch it, I'm getting 0-60 in the 6's on a bone stock 5.0 rspec. Any suggestions what I can try to fix this? I'll take any and all ideas rn, I've ordered spark plugs and ignition coils. What else is good?

  i am a proud owner of a silver 2011 genesis with a v6. i know there are options for a v8 4.6, 5.0 and 5.0 r spec. i beleive i remember seeing you say or maybe title one of your videos 4.6 v8. did you engine swap it?

  Get an induction heater tool. It will help get anything rusty loose.

  Thanks for this video and content. I have a 2013 with 5300 miles. Bought it used and don’t know if mine was previously done or not. Does anyone know if they had straightened it out by the 2013 model year? If doing it, would most of you mod it while in there anyway? I would prefer to leave it stock, myself. Thanks in advance.

  Pro tip....I looked at time stamp 13:38. You're installing the driver's side muffler on the passenger side. That's why you had such an issue with installation.

  i have a 2012, and ive put a new transmission in and i had to get a motor, it prolly wasnt the actual motor after the fact im thinking maybe the coial, rite now its not keeping power or recharging after i gave a jump to someone, i recharged the new battery and theres a new alternator as well but it just loses power and shuts off, kant even put it in park or turn the car off if i try before all power shuts down.... and i dont have the vent nipple thing on my battery, theres a hose looks cut but i just watchdd a video to moreless clean the positive whole square thing and it shows something clamped in to the backside of the battery, mines never had one i guess, since i bought it (used) i kant enjoy take off speed anymore since the transmission, and i hesitates to go in gear if i let my mate drive it, its weird but after a while it evens back out.... but very sensitive..... on my 3rd battery overall as well.....

  Restock fee on that?? Speed inc charged me a restocking fee on a backorder item that the website did not list as backorder. So i had a laugh when you mentioned it. The restocking fee was the last dollar they got from me. This was early on when the company first started through ls1tech, I hold grudges lol.

  I found a corvette for sale that has this but they lost the remote. I wonder what it would take to get a remote for it..wonder if they are all the same or programmed specifically for each one...or like what if you're next to another corvette that has it I wonder if your remote will mess with theirs lol

  my 12 5.0rspec took shit at 160K wwas buring 2 qauarts a month. great car but gdi sucks and pretty sure the 12 has shitty piston rings
