Third installment in the Driver X series.
X takes a significant step, in his relationship with Paige, by installing a module known as 'The Phantom Rider' into his Corvette Z06. This module was designed to transform Paige into a holographic presence within the car, allowing them to physically be together at last. However, Paige had a hidden agenda for this module. She proposed a hack from an undisclosed source that would exploit it, granting her control over X's physical body. This way, she could experience sensations rather than existing as an empty shell of a hologram. X agreed, and together, they successfully cracked the module. Amidst this process, they shared a beautiful moment learning how to drive a manual vehicle together. Paige was finally able to feel and understand the passion X had for his cars. They grew closer and more connected than ever.
To show the trust X has for her, he relinquished the majority of control to Paige, who drove solo until sunset. Their journey led them to a Safehouse that seemed to hold unpleasant memories for X. The evening was marked by lighthearted banter and drinks around a campfire. However, Paige suddenly remembered that the car needed to be moved, and given X's inebriation, she volunteered. As she attempted to access the module to relocate the vehicle, an unfamiliar voice interrupted. At this pivotal moment in the series, Paige falls victim to a hacking attempt, and X loses her presence. This marks the dramatic introduction of our Villain
