We drive up in the 2009 Chevy Corvette Z06 to Road America to watch @GasTachs track his C6 Corvette Z06. On the way we run over something that messes up our new carbon fiber ZR1 front splitter. While on track Warrick's Borla Atak exhaust system falls off its hangars and had to be fixed. We then head to Autobahn Country Country to visit the Crown Rally folks and check out the crazy cars and vinyl wraps. We also get my buddy @CoastingCalifornia reaction to the Z06x.

Is it me or does the Ferrari Roma's front clip paint not match the rest of the car- darker- in the rolling B roll towards the end. Nice Livestream plug...entertaining as F**K! It even has sports updates!!!

Road America is a great venue. I've stayed at The Osthoff resort near there a few times. For anyone who likes racing, a wknd at RA should be on the list; you can camp at the track and make a wknd out of it. EDIT: tracking a daily is might bold. I know you have another car, but still...aside from the astronomical price tag associated with it, it's a real spicy proposition. Having friends with mighty deep pockets isn't the same as having deep pockets (of which you are aware). BUT, if you have enough connections, I'm sure you could put together enough materials for at least one friendly competition with a few of the consumables sponsored or greatly reduced...

Beside the fact it is too big and out of scale for that car - Unless that big f'n wing was adjusted in a wind tunnel by technicians that know what they are doing - I would bet it is slowing down the car. Downforce comes at a price and is always a trade off. Unless you need downforce to improve traction you are shooting yourself in the foot and slowing down the car.
Taking your car to the track is better than getting married to your car. start breaking limits and things you didn't know was possible.
