Every driver at a Gridlife event knows the risks they face on track. Road America, though, was a particularly harsh reminder of those risks. But amidst shocking disaster and loss, there was unbelievable speed and competition.

    Sorry for the accidental double upload this morning guys. As yall can see, this videos go through multiple iterations, and somehow that still wasn't enough to catch the typo on Will's record lap- 2:11, not 1:11, but unbelievable all the same.

    Thank you guys for the consistently great content. So many brands are trying to monetise car enthusiasts desire for videos, and I understand why, the production costs etc, but you guys are so obviously car enthusiasts yourselves and make such great quality videos...I just wanted to say I appreciate it.

    honestly, wouldn't be very interested in this racing, but in this format, its extremely entertaining. Quick interview clips, lots of action shots, makes it more than just a bunch of cars driving around a track without context unless you actually follow it

    Gridlife is pretty affordable compared to most others - I was just at their midohio event and it was only $500

    The quality of the coverage is just mind blowing. Thank you so much for putting this kind of content together. Never had an opportunity to be at a track and these clips capture everything. Bless the guy in the crash, he’s 100% right. Putting money in those safety features pays off when you aren’t the one paying with your life. I’m really happy he came out healthy from that wreck.     This series has been awesome. Super eye catching and intriguing. Intense and fun edits and narration. Killer setups too. Thanks for shining an epic light on this grassroot motorsport. Idk what is next for you guys but I'll be here for it. Series idea for later maybe: National level SCCA autocross events. Cheap gateway motorsport addiction with a very friendly driver enthusiast base.

    This gives us simmers so much perspective, these guys going out on track and going so freakin fast they dont wanna keep doing it, because its freakin scary... I love it!     RA is my backyard track and such a hidden treasure in the woods of Wisconsin. The track is amazing, they host lots of great racing, and a general admission ticket gets you access to every corner of the track. It's one of my favorites tracks in the world, lucky to have it here.

    Will’s description of the G-forces took me straight back to the wreck I had on the street as a teen. 110mph combined impact (head on/offset) in an 80s GM product with no safety gear.

    I can relate to his crash , during a rally the rear left wheel snapped and we spun backward in to the woods at 145km between two massive trees . Worst feeling ever for 5 seconds , I can’t imagine at 140 miles /hr .damn that’s fast.

    2 minutes 11 seconds is the real time. That graphic is wrong. 1 minute 11 seconds would be unnaturally fast.

    When I tell the guys that a turbo fwd honda should be built to beat a Lithuanian track time record, they call me an idiot, because even a awd 800hp evo was already slipping in corners, so there would be no way to go even close with lets say 500hp honda that weights 2/3ds of an evo... I hope some day someone will do it. Love watching these REAL time attacks.

    Hey man, whats up! The exhaust set up on my Z for that event was factory headers, berk test pipes, and a broken tomei titanium exhaust haha. Its broken right before the can so I took the can off and ran it dumping just after the diff. The car will be much more wild next season with a set of headers, cams, hi compression pistons and revving to 8300rpm!
