Not really "broke"...just an aftermarket repair. The Genny itself is undestructable! 170K on the clock...no problem! When she tics past 200,000 - you've got plenty more left in her! Drive it until she drives no more! Refabrication genius...almost as good as new!

170k miles is nothing on a modern car. Cars seem to last a really long time. Especially if you give them the maintenance and tlc they need! Keep that genesis until the wheels fall off. It's a beauty. I miss mine a lot.

These things seem to be relatively bulletproof for a luxury sedan. I might have to get one of these eventually

Make sure you get one that's been taken care of. The owner before me wrecked the tranny on my Genny at 94K miles. Dealer covered the replacement though.

You should spray some New Hampshire oil on all the parts with surface rust

My 2009 4.6 Genny has 174k on it, just started getting a hole in the resonator. Took it out, and replaced rear mufflers with magnaflow glasspacks - oh man wow.

By this winter Im going completely catless and getting some stainless steel welded were the start of primaries are so the salt and deicing liquid doesn't chip at the exhaust.

Fluids depending if you ever changed some Gear oil ..coolant etc ..spark plugs give her a good gdi cleaning too

I have a 2009 4.6L u think I should put a supercharger on it? Mine is white with oem powder coated black rims with tint so far. I live in Cali I'm new to car mods not sure what to do first 🙃

You are far from supercharging it start off with the basic bolt ons intake headers exhaust tune and intake manifold but the issue is this car doesn’t have many mods
