  A good design but kitchen could have more units both lower and on the walls . The downstairs bathroom I’d swap bath for a shower . And have another bedroom upstairs .

  One more thing, with the price of food these days, more and more people are starting gardens. A door in the kitchen is a very definite plus. No one wants to run the length of the house to snip a few herbs!

  No utility room? I see no stairway for a basement and, yet there is no place for a furnace/hot water heater. You might as well buy a tent. This is wildly impractical.

  Kitchen is inadequate. Hasn't anyone told the designers that the kitchen is the heart of the home? Also, an open floor plan like that is cringe worthy. Unless you specialize in 'take-out', the grease will eventually mess up the furniture. Awful.

  Great layout. Beautiful cozy decor. Dryer is on an exterior wall for proper ventilation. Great downstairs bedroom. I’d have a walk-in shower for the downstairs bedroom to accommodate older visitors. A larger window over the kitchen sink and more upper cabinets. I’d prefer one level counter top across the back wall.

  You uploaded the floor plan twice for main floor but not the upper level. Dimensions? Oh my goodness! I love this home! All of it is perfect for our needs. If we wanted, we could partially enclose some space upstairs for a 3rd small bedroom, too.

  Beautiful home. ❤ the open space..a much needed pantry space and maybe a few more upper kitchen cabinets...actually a really beautiful floor plan ❤❤😊 plus a downstairs shower instead of a tub.

  This is a great plan, and I'd make only minor tweaks. Although there's pantry storage in the laundry room I'd want a few more upper cabinets in the kitchen. I'd swap out the downstairs tub for one that accommodates a shower. If I needed a third bedroom I could partition off the mezzanine office.

  LoL, we seem to be following one another and most times we see very similar changes we would like. Kitchen cabinets are cosmetic to me and I agree. I have an upright China cabinet that fits beautifully in either a dining room or living room. Honestly, I prefer the upper level bedroom but for practicality (falling down stairs) and proximity to escape routes, would take the lower level bedroom

  Why is the teeny-tiny room on the first floor the only room without furniture? This can't possibly be a third bedroom. The front porch is way too large considering how small the living room and kitchen are. I would downsize the porch and open up the kitchen and living room. Also, no coat closet and no garage.

  Really beautiful home. I dislike the negative comments. If they want to make changes to their version of this house, so be it, but no need to attack the designer. Just keep your negative comments to yourself.

  What a shame, the outside looks lovely but inside is cold and clinical. The kitchen and lounge is homely but the rest is not. Why would you not put a wood burning stove in though.

  OH MY GOODNESS, YOU HAVE NAILLED IT (minus the wood burning stove with oven instead of a fireplace)!! It’s only 1400 sq foot? 1400 Sq Meters is 1500 sq ft! This tics off almost the entire wish list! We Love It! And a garage to boot! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  LOVE IT! But the living room is too small. I could sacrifice the right corner of the porch (front & side) to make it bigger and add a gas fireplace. Make the access to the porch at the master bedroom only through it. (private porch) As for the garage.... EXTRA BONUS POINTS!!! i need a garage. Just install 2 doors instead of one big one. 😉👍
