The add a circuit has its own fuse. It doesn't need much as it's just the signal to tell the amp to turn on.

You want to go off something that is powered only when your car is on. Otherwise your amp will stay on all the time and drain your battery.

Then you run a negative from your battery to the frame of vehicle and then you run a cable from engine block to frame of vehicle and by doing that you updated your vehicles electrical system which at that point you can have great safe power for running a audio system including subwoofers and amp... Because it's takes a lot of amps and it could kill your battery.

I have a factory sub in my trunk as well. I just tap the speaker wires between the amp and the factory sub? I would love to not have to open my dash. On my amps manual it says to connect speaker outputs from receiver to high level input connector of amplifier. I could go into my dash and do that?

Thanks for the video, I just installed a 75 inch tv with this mount and I noticed I can turn it left or right to make it level almost as if something was loose, do you know how I can tighten it so it stays level all the time?

There are nuts that need to be tightened to ensure this. I would recommend some medium strength threadlocker on this nuts. When you get a big tv and you move it, it kinda acts as a lever on the pilot point making it harder to lock the pivot point down since very little force from the edge of your TV equals a lot of force at the central pivot.

Your wording is a little confusing. Without knowing your setup, it's hard to say. Generally though on an amp, the rca inputs are for signals that are low and not being driven already. High level inputs are called such because they can handle a higher watt load incoming into the amp.

What that sticky stuff is is, FRICTION TAPE. 100 years ago when man first discovered electricity friction tape was developed to act as an electrical tape. Unlike the PVC electrical tape of today, friction tape has no adhesive it is just a little sticky to stick to itself. This is what our great great grandads used. I am amazed it is still around but I guess for whatever reason, Ford finds it necessary to use it here & there. !

Nice and clean both surfaces with razor nice bead around bolt holes mate together and nip up then tighten stop using gaskets on alloy sump s bit of a pain 😢

If your car has a factory amp wouldn’t that be playing low end from your cars amp into the amp your adding? Someone told me I shouldn’t do this but I don’t see really why not when I’ve seen others do stuff like this. My car has a factory amp that uses the rear 6x9’s for bass. Would it be ok if I do this on my car like you did yours? I’m guessing your car has a factory amp which means you tapped into the low end speaker in your car to give your amp an input from your factory stereo.

People recommend not doing this because your amp can prefilter the frequencies for your stock sub that may or may not allow your new aftermarket sub to reproduce to its full capability.

You need to leave the lines running to rear speakers in place and tap into them to piggyback the signal.

I despise interior trim pieces they never seem to look and fit the same .. I wish all MFG just put a removable grille over each speaker but that would be too easy! Love the 4x6 upgrade sorta shocking they fit!

Adjusting the amplitude will impact both yes. This is where sub amp tuning comes into play.
